We rejoice with you as you give thanks for so many answered prayers, and we join our hearts with yours in giving glory to God. It is good and right to come before Him with thanksgiving, for we are reminded in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you, and in Philippians 4:6, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
We bring your request before the Father together, asking for His will to be done regarding your appointment. We pray that if it is according to His perfect plan, a way will be opened for you to be seen tomorrow afternoon with your preferred doctor, and that the consultation would go peacefully and with favor. We also remember that Yahweh directs our steps, as Proverbs 16:9 tells us, A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps, so we trust His timing even if the appointment must be arranged differently than we hope.
We also lift up your health before the Lord. Your body is precious to Him, for 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 reminds us, Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. We pray not only for the provision of medication if it is wise and helpful, but for lasting health and strength, and for wisdom for both you and your doctor to make decisions that honor God and care well for the body He has given you. We hold to His promise in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, and in Psalm 103:2-3, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases.
Let us pray together.
Father in Heaven, we thank You together for Your faithfulness and for the many prayers You have already answered. We give You all the glory in the name of Jesus. Lord, we ask according to Your will that You would make a way for an appointment tomorrow afternoon, and that You would grant favor with the doctor and wisdom in the discussion about orlistat. We ask that there would be no unnecessary hindrance or conflict, but peace and clarity. Above all, we pray for health, for self control and stewardship of the body, and for Your healing hand to be upon our dear one. Guide the doctor's judgment and guide every decision for good. May Your will be done and may You be glorified in this situation. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue to cast your cares upon Him, for 1 Peter 5:7 says, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you, and to continue to seek Him not only for the provision of treatment but for daily strength to honor Him in how you care for your health through balanced living and trust in Him. We stand with you in prayer and thanksgiving.
