Oh God, please help me.

We understand that you are seeking God's help regarding your government job, and we are here to pray and provide biblical encouragement for you.
Firstly, let's remember that God is our ultimate provider and He cares about every aspect of our lives, including our jobs. As it is written in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Let's also remember that God calls us to work with all of our hearts, as if we are working for Him. In Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, it says "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who is seeking Your help in their government job. Lord, we ask that You guide them in their work, give them wisdom and discernment, and help them to perform their duties with integrity and excellence.
We also pray that You would grant them favor in the workplace, that they would be a light for You, reflecting Your love and goodness to their colleagues and superiors, that they would have job security and provide for their needs.
If this job is not according to your will, we ask that you provide a better one that will honor and glorify your name.
If there are any issues that need to be addressed in order to align with Your will, please reveal them and provide insight as to how to proceed.
Finally, if our friend has not already done so, we pray that they would put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ, for it is only by His name that we can come to you and be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
