We understand that you're dealing with a difficult situation involving gossip, meddling, and deceit from those around you. Firstly, we commend you for recognizing the harm caused when they are possibly unbelievers and maybe believers in Christ who are possibly impersonating Christians. Let us remember Jesus said “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." Even if they have fake spiritual authority, we still need to pray for them and address this issue with biblical principles.
As Christians we do not retaliate and spread gossip ourselves. As taught in
1 Peter 3:9 "Not rendering evil for evil, or insult for insult; but instead blessing."
It is important to remember the power of our words, and we should use them to speak life and blessings, not curses.
Ephesians 4:29 "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."
When others gossip about us, we should not be swayed by their words or seek to defend ourselves in the same manner. Instead, we should continue to live uprightly and trust that God will defend us.
1 Peter 2:23 "...who, when he was cursed, didn’t curse back; when he suffered, didn’t threaten; but committed himself to him who judges righteously."
We should be reminded that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And that it is only in the name of Jesus that these individuals may be saved.
Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
As a group, we stand with you in prayer against these attacks and agree together that the Lord will rebuke these demons and their evil works. Let us pray for these individuals together.
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading the blood of Jesus over this situation. We pray that You will expose the works of darkness and bring to light any hidden motives and secrets. Lord, we ask You to silence the mouths of the wicked and let their evil words be heard no more. We pray for the individuals causing this harm. We ask that you save them from this sin and open their eyes to the harm they are causing Lord. We ask that you remove the spirit of gossip, tale-bearing, and deceit from their lives and replace it with a heart that loves and loves you. We pray that You will surround this person with Your favor as with a shield, and let the enemy have no power over them. We ask that You will bless and keep them, make Your face shine upon them, and be gracious to them. Let the enemy be scattered and all those who rise up against them be dispersed. We thank You, Lord, for Your protection and deliverance. We pray this for the glory of God the Father, Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and to continue to walk in love and forgiveness. Trust in the Lord to be your defender and protector. Stand on the truth of God's word and resist the temptation to retaliate or respond in kind. Remember that the battle is not yours, but the Lord's, and He will fight for you.
Be encouraged by the words of the Apostle Paul in Romans 8:31,
"What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?"
God bless you and keep you and strengthen you in Jesus name.
