Dear Lord Jesusu, Thank you so much for letting me have a good day today in church on my own. The minister was so proud that he helped three days in a row and his wife was happy. I made a song for her. I get along with him very well and he’s not jealous that I socialize with her Now this one man who’s kind introverted in high tech stuff, his wife is extroverted, and she liked having a conversation with me and we had a good conversation and he saw me chatting with her, and I was chatting with both of them. He might seem a little jealous it’s flattering because it makes me feel handsome, but I sure hope he doesn’t have any malice or concern and I hope he understands. I don’t have any interest or wanting to get with his wife and that we can get along. Thank you for letting me help. Pick up my sandwich and ### yesterday and being able to say some prayers and thank you for letting me have a good conversation with this one friend of mine got him laughing. I hope he tells his wife he think he will? I hope I can tell her too this funny dream I had please make everything OK and I got to tell my other friend that I don’t like to talk about the ### and I explained with my fear of the sun so thanks for helping work things out. In Jesus Name Amen.

We hear your heart of gratitude and joy in the fellowship you’ve experienced, and we rejoice with you in the blessings of community and connection within the body of Christ. Your thankfulness for the good day, the conversations, and the laughter is a beautiful reflection of the joy that comes from walking in God’s presence. We are especially encouraged by your desire to uplift others, whether through song, prayer, or simply being a source of encouragement.

However, we must gently address a few areas where your words reveal some confusion or misalignment with biblical principles, particularly in how you describe your interactions with others. First, we want to affirm that your desire to honor God in your relationships is commendable, and we see that you have no ill intent toward the married couples you mentioned. Yet, it is important to recognize how even well-meaning interactions can be perceived or how they might unintentionally stray from God’s design for relationships.

Scripture is clear about the sanctity of marriage and the need for boundaries that protect it. In 1 Thessalonians 4:3-6, we read, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God; that no one should take advantage of and wrong a brother or sister in this matter." While your intentions may be pure, the way you describe feeling flattered by the husband’s jealousy and the close socializing with married women could create confusion or even stumbling blocks for others. Jealousy, even in small doses, is not a godly emotion, and it is not something to be flattered by or to encourage, as it can lead to division or mistrust.

We also want to gently remind you that relationships within the church should always reflect the love and purity of Christ. In Titus 2:3-5, older women are instructed to teach younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, and to be pure. While friendship and fellowship are vital, we must be cautious not to cultivate emotional or social intimacy with someone else’s spouse in a way that could be misinterpreted or lead to temptation. Your desire to get along with everyone is admirable, but it must be balanced with wisdom and discernment.

Let us also address the importance of guarding our hearts and minds. In Proverbs 4:23, we are told, "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life." The enemy often uses small, seemingly harmless things to plant seeds of discontent, jealousy, or even emotional dependency. We encourage you to prayerfully consider how your interactions might be perceived by others and to seek the Holy Spirit’s guidance in setting boundaries that honor God and protect the marriages of those around you.

We also want to gently remind you of the importance of keeping your focus on Christ in all things. While it is wonderful to have good days and enjoyable conversations, our ultimate joy and purpose come from our relationship with Him. In Colossians 3:17, we are instructed, "Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him." Let your interactions, your songs, and your conversations be rooted in a desire to glorify God and point others to Him.

Now, let us come before the Lord together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the joy and fellowship You have given to Your child today. We praise You for the blessings of community, laughter, and the opportunity to encourage others. Lord, we ask that You would continue to fill their heart with Your peace and joy, and that You would guide them in all their interactions. Father, we pray for wisdom and discernment, that they would honor You in how they relate to others, especially within marriages. Help them to set godly boundaries and to always seek Your will in their friendships and conversations. Lord, we ask that You would guard their heart and mind, protecting them from any temptation or misunderstanding. May their words and actions always reflect Your love and purity. We also pray for the married couples they mentioned, may their marriages be strengthened and protected by Your hand. Let jealousy, mistrust, or any form of division be far from them. Instead, fill their homes with Your love, unity, and grace. Father, we ask that You would continue to work in their life, drawing them closer to You each day. May they find their ultimate joy and purpose in You alone. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God’s guidance in your relationships, asking Him to show you how to love others in a way that honors Him. Remember, the goal of our interactions should always be to build up the body of Christ and to reflect His love to the world. If you ever feel uncertain about a situation, take it to the Lord in prayer and seek counsel from mature believers who can help you navigate it with wisdom. You are loved, and we are here to support you in your walk with Christ.

What a joy to read about a day so full of simple, good moments. We're smiling with you at the laughter you shared with your friend and the song you made for the minister's wife, those are the kinds of threads that weave real community. There's something deeply right about thanking God for a sandwich pickup, a good conversation, and the courage to set a boundary about a topic that distresses you. He's in all of it.

The twinge you feel about the other man possibly being jealous is understandable. You've already landed on the most important thing: you know your own heart and you're not after what isn't yours. Hold that ground quietly. The healthiest path is simply to keep your interactions with his wife warm but unremarkable, always include him when you can, and if you sense tension, give him a little extra space and a genuine, low-key word of friendliness. Jealousy often starves when it's not fed by secrecy or special attention, and your clear conscience here is your best guide. You don't need to manage his feelings; you only need to walk with the same openness and good will you're already showing.

It also sounds like God gave you real clarity when you explained your fear of the sun to your other friend. That took honesty, and we're glad it worked out well.

Lord Jesus, thank you for a day that tasted of ordinary grace, for church, for friendships, and for the small helps You arranged. Guard these connections from misunderstanding and let this man's heart settle where there's nothing to fear. Keep this writer walking in the freedom of a clear conscience, and let the laughter and mutual care grow. In Your name, Amen.

Be most watchful over your heart, for you speak of a matter that carries a dangerous flattery. You rejoice that another’s husband might be jealous, taking it as proof of your own attractiveness. Beware, lest vanity dress itself in gratitude. The Scriptures teach that jealousy, though often cruel as the grave, may yet be a godly watchfulness when it guards the marriage covenant. You have no desire toward this woman, you say; then let your conduct be so plain and pure that no shadow of suspicion may fall upon her husband’s brow. Better to forgo a conversation than to cause a brother to stumble. Your liberty must not become a cloak for unrest. Seek the peace that comes from a conscience void of offense toward God and toward men.

If you would know true peace, it is not found in the applause of men nor in the fluttering sense of being admired. That peace is but the devil’s lullaby, which sings “Peace, peace” where there is no peace. The peace that Christ gives is a settled calm, born of blood and sealed by the Spirit. It makes us lowly and careful not to wound the weak. Go, then, and if you have caused disquiet in that man’s heart, do all in your power to set matters right, that the union of Christ and His Church be not reproached. Your dream and your laughter must not be allowed to breed sorrow in another’s home. Let love be without dissimulation, and let your care for that couple’s peace outweigh the pleasure of a witty word. Earth’s struggles soon shall cease, but until then, walk in wisdom toward them that are without, and let your peace be the peace of Christ ruling in your heart.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You give thanks for a good day and for conversations, yet I hear in your words a certain pleasure that another man might be jealous of you. You call it flattering and say it makes you feel handsome. Take care, beloved, that you do not secretly nurse the very passion you fear in him. Jealousy is an evil eye that subtracts from what is complete and confounds everything. It is born of a vehement affection, but when it mixes with pride or envy, it becomes a worm crawling in the mire. And you, by delighting even slightly in the thought that you are cause for jealousy, taste a dangerous sweetness. The lowly man is seized by no such love of glory; he is free from envy and anger. Seek rather the harmony that is of the mind and of love, that you may truly build up the Church with souls, not with the flattery of appearances.

You say you have no interest in that man's wife, and I believe you. But be watchful. A fire begins with a spark. If your conversations with her are long and private, or if your manner is too free, even without evil intent, you may wound a weaker brother. For the Apostle says, “Jealousy for God” is pure, but human jealousy is often kindled by small things. Let your conduct be open and kind to both husband and wife together, so that no one may think you seek what is not yours. Serve them in love, not in vanity.

And as for your song and your dreams and your daily helps, thank God indeed for every gift. But do not let your heart be lifted up by the praise of others. Remember, the first shall be last. If you truly wish to follow Christ, be content to be lowly. Pray for that introverted man, that God may give him peace and cast out any malice. Pray for his wife, that she may be a pure virgin in spirit, espoused to Christ, and that their household may be a Church of harmony. Do not look with an eye that is evil, even unknowingly, upon their bond. Instead, be the one who supplies what is wanting, not what mutilates.

Finally, offer your fear of the sun and all your cares to Him who raises the dead. Faith that is proved by trials, like Abraham's, trusts that God can make all things work for good. So go your way, take your joy in the Lord, and let your conversations be seasoned with grace, that you may make your brother laugh without causing him to stumble, and may you all speak the same thing, being perfectly joined together in the same mind. Then shall your prayers be truly fragrant, and your days good indeed.
