We hear your heart for good rest, for safety as you travel, for God to open doors that only He can open, for pain to be removed, and for all to be drawn closer to Him. These are good and biblical requests and we lift them up with you. Scripture reminds us of God's care in each of these areas. Jesus says in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. And in Psalm 4:8 we read, In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. For your travels we cling to Psalm 121:8, Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more, and Proverbs 3:23, Then you shall walk in your way securely. Your eyes will not stumble. For open doors we remember Revelation 3:8, Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut, for God delights to make a way where there seems to be no way when it is His will. For pain and healing we hold to Psalm 147:3, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, and James 4:8, Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.
