We join with you in asking our Heavenly Father for the gift of restful sleep, for we know how much He cares for every need of our bodies and souls.

We are reminded of what Scripture says about the sleep God gives to His children. Psalm 4:8 says In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. And Psalm 127:2 says It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil, for he gives sleep to his loved ones. Proverbs 3:24 also promises When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet. Our God is the one who watches over us through the night and desires to give us peace even as we rest.

We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 reminds us There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is because of what Jesus did for us on the cross, dying for our sins and rising again, that we can come boldly to God in prayer and receive His forgiveness, His peace, and His rest. If you have not yet put your trust in Him, we encourage you to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and call upon His name.

We pray together for you now. Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear one to You. You know the weariness and the longing for a good night of sleep. We ask that You would quiet every anxious thought and calm the heart and mind. As Philippians 4:6-7 teaches us, we bring this request to You by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, and we ask for Your peace which surpasses all understanding to guard this heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Grant sweet, deep, and uninterrupted sleep tonight and in the nights to come. Let Your presence be near, let Your angels keep watch, and let this one awake refreshed and renewed to serve You. We also pray that You would draw this dear one closer to Jesus, to know Him as Savior and Lord and to find true rest for the soul as Jesus promised in Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.

We encourage you to cast all your cares upon Him before you lie down, to spend a few moments in prayer and thanksgiving, and to trust Him with all that concerns you through the night. He neither slumbers nor sleeps as He watches over you, and He delights to give rest to His beloved.

Thank you for sharing this simple and honest request. We know how much a poor night's sleep can wear on a person, and how much a good night's rest restores us. When nights feel long it can affect mood, focus and the next day in every way, and this need matters to God.

We are praying for you to be able to rest deeply and wake refreshed. We ask God to quiet the thoughts and worries that can keep us awake and to give you His peace through the night, trusting that He watches over you even as you sleep.

If you find this has been going on for a while or is starting to affect your days, we gently encourage you to let your doctor know as well so they can support you alongside prayer. You do not have to carry this alone, and getting checked in can be a caring step.

We find many people are helped by placing the day's cares in God's hands before bed, handing over what happened today and what is ahead tomorrow and resting in His care. We will keep praying for steady, peaceful nights for you and we are grateful you reached out.

Father, we lift our friend to You tonight. Grant restful sleep, watch over them through the night and renew their strength. Calm mind and body and help them wake with peace and energy for the day ahead. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request for a good night's sleep has been heard and we will bring it before the Lord with you.

There is a precious promise for such a need, that the Lord keepeth in perfect peace, peace upon peace, the mind that is stayed upon Him, because it trusteth in Him. And again it is written, So He giveth His beloved sleep. This sleep is not merely of the body, but of the heart made quiet through the blood of Jesus which whispers peace within. When the conscience is right with God through faith in Christ alone, and the mind is stayed upon Him rather than upon the cares and duties that press upon us, He is pleased to give rest even in the midnight of this world of care.

We know how anxiety itself unfits us for the very thing we need, and how thoughts that throng by day will often keep watch by night. Therefore cast your cares upon Him who careth for you, and seek to do the will of Jesus in the day, and to trust His keeping power in the night. Whether loved ones are near or far, whether sorrows surge round or duties press, to be in Jesus keeping is to be safe, and that is rest.

Let us pray together.

Our gracious Father, we thank Thee that Thou art the God of all peace, and that peace was bought with the blood of Thy Son and is wrought in the soul by Thy Holy Spirit. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ alone, our only Saviour and peace, that Thou wouldst grant to this dear one quietness of heart and soundness of sleep. Still the restless thoughts, calm the anxious mind, and let the mind be stayed on Thee. Forgive all sin through the atonement of Christ, and give a conscience at peace with Thee, that the sleep given to Thy beloved may be received this night. Grant refreshing rest to the body and renewal to the soul, and let waking and sleeping be both unto Thy glory. We ask this in the name of Jesus our rest, Amen.

May the Lord watch between thee and all thy concerns this night, and cause thee to lie down in peace and sleep, for Thou Lord only makest us to dwell in safety.

Thank you for sharing this need. I am praying with you for deep and peaceful rest.

God in His care has given night as a haven and a solace for our weariness and has bound sleep into our nature for our good, even when we would not choose it ourselves. He knows how worn we are by the labors and griefs of the day, and He has made sleep to be like a medicine for our wounds. While we sleep, He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, so we can rest in thorough security because He watches over us.

Scripture reminds us that anxieties can drive away sleep, and that when the heart is in an orderly and peaceful state before God, sleep is more composed and regular. So I pray that God will quiet your mind and heart tonight, and help you to cast every care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, thank You that You give sleep to Your beloved and that You watch through the night when we cannot watch ourselves. I ask that You grant our brother and sister a good night of sleep, free from restless thoughts and troubled dreams. Calm every anxiety, heal the weariness of body and soul, and let this night be truly restorative. Help them to lie down in peace and to rise refreshed, with a heart made wakeful and steady for what is good. Guard their rest and let them know Your nearness and protection. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

May the Lord grant you quietness tonight and wake you renewed. If sleeplessness continues, bring it again to Him in prayer, and also consider simple helps like a consistent time for sleep, a quiet and dark room, and laying aside cares before bed by prayer and thanksgiving.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
