We join with you in bringing this need before our heavenly Father and we thank you for humbly asking for His help with your sleep, your safety, and your daily work.
We know how precious good sleep is and how difficult it can be to rest when we are worried about provision and safety. Scripture reminds us that sleep itself is a gift from God. Psalm 127:2 says It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil, for he gives sleep to his loved ones. And Psalm 4:8 says I will both lay me down and sleep in peace, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. We also take comfort in Proverbs 3:24 which tells us when you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. When anxiety keeps us awake we are encouraged to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7.
We also lift up your work as you do deliveries. We pray for the Lord's protection over you as you go out and come in. Psalm 121:7-8 promises Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. We pray that you will be alert and wise on the road, that you will be a light to those you meet, and that God will provide for your needs through honest and diligent work. Philippians 4:19 assures us My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We understand the desire for good paying deliveries, and we pray that God will supply what you need, while we also remember Jesus taught us to seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well, Matthew 6:33, trusting Him rather than worrying or striving out of anxiety.
We noticed that your request mentions God but does not mention Jesus Christ. We want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through His name that we are saved and our prayers are heard. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to come to God in His name for every need including sleep, safety, and provision.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We ask You to grant our dear one peaceful and refreshing sleep tonight, quieting every anxious thought and guarding heart and mind in Christ. We ask for Your hand of protection as he travels for his deliveries, keeping him safe from harm and accident and guiding his steps. We ask that You provide for his needs according to Your riches in glory, opening doors for honest work and sufficient provision, and helping him to trust You with contentment and gratitude. Draw him closer to Jesus, that he may know the full assurance of salvation and the peace that comes from walking with You. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We appreciate you letting us pray with you about this. Wanting a truly restful night and knowing you are safe on the road while you provide for yourself matters deeply, and we hear both needs in your note.
Working deliveries can make sleep and steady income feel uncertain, with late hours and waiting for the next order. It makes sense you would bring both your rest and your work to God and ask for His care and provision.
One simple practice we have seen help is to bookend your day with a brief pause. Before you head out, take a minute to commit your route and the hours ahead to the Lord and ask for wisdom on the road. And at night, give yourself a clear wind down time to pray and rest, bringing any worries about income to Him rather than carrying them into the night. If sleeplessness continues to weigh on you, it can also help to talk with your doctor alongside prayer.
Father, we lift our brother to You tonight. Grant him deep and peaceful sleep and watch over him as he drives. Keep him safe from harm, give him wisdom and alertness on every delivery, and provide for his needs according to Your kindness. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Beloved of All
We have heard your request and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace.
Sleep is the gift of God. We think that we lay our heads upon our pillows and compose ourselves and therefore we naturally sleep, but it is not so, for so He giveth His beloved sleep. It is a sweet mercy, tired nature's sweet restorer, by which the weary frame is recruited and fitted for fresh service. We will pray that the Lord will grant you this peculiar sleep of the beloved, the sleep of contentment and the sleep of security, that you may lie down in peace and be refreshed for the duties of the coming day.
And we will pray also for your labor. The same Word that tells us God gives sleep tells us also, I must work the works of Him that sent Me while it is day, for the night cometh when no man can work. The work of Christ in us does not exempt us from work and service, nor does the grace of the Holy Spirit lull us into sloth, but rather excites us to diligence. Your desire to labor faithfully in your deliveries is honorable, and we pray that the Lord will keep you in safety as you go forth, that His hand will protect you on the road and preserve you from harm, and that He will in His providence supply your needs through honest and well rewarded work.
Yet let us remember while we value the sleep of the body, we are warned, let us not sleep as do others. There is a spiritual slumber that we must watch against, even while we seek bodily rest. May the Lord keep you both rested in body and wakeful in soul, watching unto prayer and abounding in faithfulness.
Let us pray together. O Heavenly Father, we thank You that You neither slumber nor sleep as You keep Your people. Grant to this Your servant refreshing sleep this night, quietness of heart and safety under Your wing. Watch over him as he labors in the day, guide his steps, guard him from danger, and provide for his daily bread according to Your wisdom and goodness. Make him diligent in his calling and above all awake to Your grace through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whose name we ask these mercies. Amen.

Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Your request has been heard and I join you in prayer before God for these needs.
I pray that the Lord will grant you restful and peaceful sleep, for He is the One who keeps His people and neither slumbers nor sleeps. May He quiet your mind and body in the night, guard your heart, and renew your strength so that you may wake refreshed to serve Him with a watchful and sober spirit.
I pray also for your protection as you go out to work doing deliveries. May God keep your feet from stumbling and keep you safe on the road, giving you alertness and wisdom in all your driving, and guarding you from harm.
And I pray that through honest and diligent work He will provide for your daily needs according to His wisdom and goodness. May He give you sufficient work and fair provision, and help you to use what He provides with thankfulness and for the good of others.
May you continue to trust Him, to remain steadfast, and to keep your eyes on the things that are true and lasting. In the name of Jesus Christ we ask this. Amen.
