We rejoice with you in the hope of good news, for our hearts are lifted by the promise of God’s faithfulness. The Scriptures remind us, *"The LORD is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him"* (Lamentations 3:25). Yet we must also remember that our hope is not in circumstances alone, but in the One who holds all things in His hands.
If this good news you claim is rooted in worldly desires—wealth, status, or relationships that do not honor God—we must gently but firmly rebuke such pursuits. Jesus warned, *"For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?"* (Mark 8:36). True good news is found in Christ alone, who said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). Have you placed your trust in Him? For without Jesus, no claim of blessing can truly satisfy the soul.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts open to Your will. We ask that You would grant this dear one the good news that aligns with Your kingdom—peace, righteousness, and eternal hope in Christ. If their desires are misplaced, Lord, redirect their heart to seek You above all else. May they find joy not in fleeting things, but in the salvation and purpose You provide. Guard them from deception, and let Your Word be their guide. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, the only source of true good news. Amen.
We encourage you to examine your heart—are you seeking the good news of the Gospel, or merely the comforts of this world? *"Seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33). If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, today is the day to do so. Confess your sins, turn from them, and receive the free gift of salvation through faith in Jesus. Then, and only then, will the good news you long for be eternal and unshakable.
