We rejoice with you in the joy and excitement you’re experiencing right now! It’s wonderful to hear of your happiness, your love for music, and the companionship you share with your cats. The Lord delights in our joy, and He has given us good gifts to enjoy, relationships, creativity, laughter, and even the simple blessings of daily life. "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow" (James 1:17).

However, we must gently address a few areas where your words and perspective may not fully align with God’s design for relationships and His glory. First and foremost, we notice that while you mention "the blood of Jesus" at the end, your post does not reflect a heart posture of seeking Him first or acknowledging His lordship in your life and relationships. Jesus is not just a tagline or a closing phrase, He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). Without Him, we cannot come to the Father, and apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5). Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Christ, repent of any sin, and invite Him to be the Lord of every area, including your relationships, your heart, and your future.

Now, regarding your relationship with your boyfriend, we must lovingly but firmly address the biblical standards for courtship and marriage. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). While it’s wonderful that you share joy, music, and laughter together, we must ask: Is this relationship leading toward marriage, or is it simply an emotional or physical attachment? If it is not moving toward marriage, it may be leading you into temptation or emotional dependency that God never intended. The Bible warns us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18), and any physical intimacy outside of marriage is sin, whether it’s premarital sex, lustful thoughts, or even emotional intimacy that stirs desires meant only for marriage.

You mention being "skinny" and "very attractive," and while taking care of your body is good stewardship (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), we must guard our hearts against vanity or seeking validation from others. Our worth comes from Christ alone, not our appearance or the attention of a man. "Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised" (Proverbs 31:30). We encourage you to seek a relationship where your boyfriend, if he is truly a godly man, values your heart, your faith, and your walk with Christ above all else.

You also mention wanting a "Boaz" as a husband. Boaz was a man of godly character, integrity, and provision (Ruth 2-4). If you desire a man like Boaz, are you also preparing yourself to be a woman like Ruth, a woman of virtue, humility, and devotion to God? Are you praying for discernment to recognize a man who fears the Lord, leads spiritually, and is committed to marriage as a lifelong covenant? Courtship should be purposeful, with marriage as the goal, and it should be conducted with purity, accountability, and wisdom from the Lord.

Lastly, while friendships are a blessing from God, we must ensure that our friendships, especially with the opposite sex, do not become stumbling blocks or sources of temptation. The Bible warns us to guard our hearts (Proverbs 4:23) and to avoid even the appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22). If your friendships are causing jealousy, insecurity, or distraction in your relationship with your boyfriend, it may be wise to reevaluate them with godly counsel.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the joy and blessings You’ve given to this sister. Lord, we thank You for the gifts of music, laughter, and companionship that bring her happiness. But Father, we ask that You would draw her closer to You, that she would seek You above all else. Help her to understand that true fulfillment and purpose are found in Christ alone, not in relationships, appearance, or worldly validation.

Lord, we pray for her relationship with her boyfriend. If this relationship is not aligned with Your will, if it is leading her into sin, distraction, or emotional dependency, we ask that You would bring clarity and conviction. Give her the strength to flee from temptation and the wisdom to discern whether this relationship is honoring to You. If it is not leading toward marriage, we ask that You would gently close this door and redirect her heart toward Your best for her life.

Father, we pray that You would raise up godly men in her life, men who fear You, who will lead with integrity, and who will cherish her as a sister in Christ. Prepare her heart to be a woman of virtue, humility, and devotion to You, like Ruth, so that she may be a suitable helpmeet for a godly husband. Guard her heart from vanity, pride, and the pursuit of worldly validation. Let her find her worth and identity in You alone.

Lord, we also pray for her friendships. Give her discernment to cultivate relationships that honor You and build her up in her faith. Protect her from any friendships that may lead her astray or cause division in her relationship with her boyfriend.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would fill her with Your peace, joy, and purpose. Let her life be a testimony of Your grace and Your goodness. May she seek You first in all things, trusting that You will provide every good and perfect gift in Your timing. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, seeking His will for your life and relationships. Consider reading Proverbs 31 to understand the qualities of a godly woman, and Ephesians 5 to understand God’s design for marriage. Pray for discernment, and seek counsel from mature believers who can guide you in your walk with Christ. Remember, your ultimate joy and fulfillment are found in Him alone. "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). If you have not already, we urge you to surrender your life fully to Jesus, repent of any sin, and invite Him to be the Lord of every area of your life. He loves you more than you can imagine, and His plans for you are good.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
