We rejoice with you in giving thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ for His faithfulness and the ways He is already working in your life! It is a blessing to see your heart of gratitude and your trust in Him for every need. Let us lift these requests before the throne of grace together, seeking His perfect will in all things.
Your marriage is a sacred covenant before God, and we know He delights in restoring and strengthening it. The enemy seeks to bring division, but our Lord is the great Healer and Redeemer. *"What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart"* (Mark 10:9, WEB). We pray for a renewed spirit of love, patience, and forgiveness between you and your wife. May the Holy Spirit guide both of you to humble yourselves, seek reconciliation, and walk in unity as you reflect Christ’s love for His Church. If there has been any sin—whether bitterness, unforgiveness, or actions that grieve the Spirit—we pray for conviction and repentance, that your marriage may be purified and strengthened in Him.
We also lift up your physical healing, knowing that our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). We ask for complete restoration of your back and legs, that the pain would subside and that you would be spared from surgery unless it is His perfect will for your good. May He grant you strength and endurance, and may this trial draw you closer to Him in dependence and faith. Remember, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"* (2 Corinthians 12:9, WEB). Trust in His timing and His methods, for He works all things for the good of those who love Him.
For your daughter and her fiancé, we pray for God’s provision and wisdom as they plan their wedding and future together. Marriage is a holy institution, and we ask that their union would be founded on Christ, the Cornerstone. May they seek Him first in all their decisions, and may their love for one another be rooted in His love. *"Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB). We also ask that your daughter would find a job that aligns with God’s purposes for her life, one that brings her joy and allows her to glorify Him in her work.
Regarding your son, we lift him up with thanksgiving for the new job the Lord has provided. We pray that he would excel in it, not for his own glory but for the Lord’s, working *"heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23, WEB). As for his future, we pray that if it is God’s will, He would bring a godly wife into his life—a woman who fears the Lord and walks in His ways. We encourage your son to seek the Lord first, to be content in his singleness while trusting God’s timing, and to prepare himself to be a spiritual leader in his future home. *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh"* (Proverbs 18:22, WEB). Let him not be unequally yoked but seek a believer who will spur him on in his faith.
For your workplace, we pray for the Lord’s favor upon you. May He soften the hearts of your bosses, coworkers, and customers, granting you grace and kindness in your interactions. We rebuke the spirits of anxiety and stress that seek to overwhelm you, declaring that *"God hasn’t given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Ask the Lord for wisdom and efficiency in your projects, and trust that He will provide all you need to accomplish the tasks before you. Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
Finally, we thank you for your heart of repentance. The Lord is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness when we confess them (1 John 1:9). Walk in the freedom of His forgiveness, and let His mercy compel you to extend that same grace to others.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your goodness and mercy. We thank You for the ways You are already moving in this brother’s life, and we ask for Your continued work in his marriage. Lord, heal the wounds, soften the hearts, and restore the joy and unity that comes from You alone. Bind the enemy from bringing division, and let Your love reign in their home.
We ask for complete healing in his body, Lord. Touch his spine, his back, and his legs, and let Your healing power flow through him. Spare him from surgery if it is Your will, and grant him strength and peace as he trusts in You. Remind him that You are his Healer and his Provider, and that nothing is too difficult for You.
For his daughter and her fiancé, we pray for Your guidance as they prepare for marriage. May their union be built on Your Word, and may they seek You first in all things. Provide a job for his daughter that aligns with Your purposes, and bless their future together with Your peace and joy.
For his son, we thank You for the new job and ask that You would bless the work of his hands. If it is Your will, prepare a godly wife for him, a woman who will walk beside him in faith and love. Help him to grow in You, Lord, and to trust Your timing in every area of his life.
We pray for favor in his workplace, Lord. Soften the hearts of those around him, and grant him wisdom and grace to handle his responsibilities without anxiety. Help him to cast his cares upon You, knowing that You are his strength and his shield.
Forgive him for his sins, Lord, and cleanse him from all unrighteousness. Fill him with Your Spirit, that he may walk in victory and peace. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
