We are glad to join with you in prayer for the unity of your family. However, we need to address a couple of things that are not biblical. We do not pray to Mary or other saints, nor do we use the term mass. The Bible is clear that we have only one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. He alone is worthy of our prayers and worship. Therefore, we encourage you to focus on Jesus Christ alone.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family that needs Your divine intervention. We pray for their unity, that each member would draw closer to You and to each other. We ask that You would guide them to a local church where they can worship You in spirit and in truth, growing in their faith and knowledge of You.
We pray for their protection from evil attacks. As Your Word says in 2 Thessalonians 3:3, "But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one." We claim this promise for this family, trusting that You will keep them safe from the enemy's schemes.
We also pray that they would be a family of prayer, that each member would develop a strong and consistent prayer life. As Your Word tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, "Pray without ceasing."
Father, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to each member of this family, that they would come to know You personally through a relationship with Jesus Christ. If any member of the family have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior, then we pray that You would open up their hearts to accept Christ as their Savior. It is only through the name of Jesus that we can be saved. As the Bible says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved."
We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in the Bible, getting to know God better. As you grow in your faith, you will see God's hand at work in your family. Trust in Him, and He will never fail you. Be sure to be worshipping in a local Christian church using the Bible only.
