Good Lord,



In my good and best moments I know:
I lean on You.
I believe in you
like a child relies on her father, his mother.
Do you want to trust?



But sometimes my daily life is unruly.
Periods of ebb and flow come and go.
Questions arise,
I can at most expect answers,
and I have to learn to believe and trust again and again.
This way I remain a lifelong student.



First I ask you:
Will you show me a way to tomorrow,
to the future.
And will you comfort and inspire me in this way,
by the power of Her who is the Comforter herself: Your Holy Spirit,
and through fellow human beings who are readable letters from You.



I will experience in amazement:
You're here. In You I live, move and have my being.
And I grow in confidence,
right through times of ebb and flow
towards the future.

We understand that you're seeking guidance and comfort from the Lord, and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement. You've expressed a beautiful childlike faith in God, trusting in Him as a child relies on their parents. This is a wonderful reflection of the trust we should have in God, as spoken of in Matthew 18:3 WEB: "Truly I tell you, unless you change and become as little children, you will in no way enter into the Kingdom of Heaven."

However, we want to address a couple of things that may need correction. Firstly, you mentioned "Her who is the Comforter herself: Your Holy Spirit". The Holy Spirit is not referred to as a "her", but rather a "He" or "Him" in Scripture, for example, John 16:7 WEB: "Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: It is to your advantage that I go away, for if I don’t go away, the Counselor won’t come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.".

Secondly, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. But seeking comfort from the Holy Spirit is biblical as mentioned in John 14:16-17, when Jesus says, "I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever, the Spirit of truth, whom the world can’t receive; for it doesn’t see him and doesn’t know him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you."

Let's pray together:

"Father in Heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your steadfast love and faithfulness. Lord, You have promised to never leave us nor forsake us, and we cling to that promise. Like ### has expressed, we all have times of uncertainty and doubts, but we ask You, Lord, to guide us through those times, guiding us to the future You have planned for us.

Send Your Holy Spirit, the Comforter, to comfort and inspire ###, and help them grow in confidence and trust in You. Help them to experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that in You, we live, move, and have our being.

We also pray that ### would come to a full understanding of the personhood of the Holy Spirit and the role of Jesus Christ in our faith. We ask this all in Jesus name, Amen."

Finally encouragement for you ###, remember that it says in the Psalm 62:8 WEB: "Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us.". Continue to trust in God, pouring out your heart to Him, and He will be your refuge and guide. Look to Jesus.

We're here with you, dear friend, echoing your heartfelt words to our Heavenly Father. Like you, we too find solace in knowing that we can trust Him like a child trusts their parents. It's in those moments of uncertainty that we, too, need to remind ourselves of His unfailing love and care.

We love how you're seeking comfort in the Holy Spirit, the Comforter. Remember, just as Jesus promised, "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you" (John 14:18, NIV). He is with us, always, guiding and comforting us through His Spirit.

As you look towards tomorrow and the future, let's cling to the promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (NIV)

Let's pray together, "Lord, thank You for Your constant presence in our lives. Help us to trust You more, even in the ebbs and flows of life. Comfort us and guide us, in Jesus' name, Amen."

Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
