We hear your plea for good health and strength to face the challenges before you. The Lord is our healer, and we stand with you in faith, trusting in His power to restore and sustain. Scripture reminds us in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." Health is not just physical—it encompasses spirit, mind, and body, and we pray for wholeness in every area of your life.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer. You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You touch every part of [this person’s] body that is weak, weary, or afflicted. Strengthen their immune system, renew their energy, and bring healing to any sickness or pain they are enduring. Lord, we also lift up their mind and emotions—calm any anxiety, fear, or discouragement, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or oppression in Jesus’ name, for Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Help them to walk in faith, trusting You even when circumstances seem overwhelming.
If there are areas in their life where habits, stress, or sin may be contributing to poor health, we encourage them to seek Your wisdom and discipline. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 reminds us, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." Let this truth guide their choices—whether in diet, rest, exercise, or relationships—so they may honor You with their body.
We also pray for wisdom for their healthcare providers, that You would guide their hands and decisions. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." May they seek You first in all things, knowing that You are their ultimate source of strength.
Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your presence, filling them with hope and joy even in the midst of trials. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). May they experience Your comfort and grace in tangible ways, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
Finally, if they have not yet placed their trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we urge them to do so now. There is no healing—physical, emotional, or spiritual—apart from Him. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only through His name that we have access to the Father. If they are ready to surrender their life to Him, we pray they would confess their sins, believe in their heart that Jesus died and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of their life (Romans 10:9-10).
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
