We are lifting up this individual in prayer, asking God to guide their doctors and provide them with the wisdom they need to make the right decisions for their treatment. We pray that God will bless them with good health, peace, happiness, favor, and success.
Firstly, we must remember that our ultimate access to God comes through Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we pray and intercede for others. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person in prayer. We ask that You guide their doctors and provide them with the wisdom and discernment they need to make the right decisions for their treatment. We pray that You will bless them with good health, peace, happiness, favor, and success.
We also pray for their spiritual well-being, that they may know You personally in Jesus Christ if they do not already. We ask that You will reveal Yourself to them and draw them closer to You during this time.
We rebuke any sickness or infirmity in their body. In Isaiah 53:5 WEB it is recorded: "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." We are reminded that by Jesus' stripes we are healed. We also read in James 5:14-15 WEB: "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
We stand in faith believing they are healed and healthy in Jesus name as we wait patiently for them to actually experience it. We pray this all in Jesus' mighty name and for His glory. Amen.
We encourage them to trust in God's promise in Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." May they find comfort and strength in His word during this time.
We also encourage them to seek God's will in all areas of their life, including their health. We remind them that their body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and that they should honor God with their body, as it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB: "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."
May God bless them abundantly and may His will be done in their life. We know God is faithful and we can be assured that He is at work in their life, even in this situation. God's Word reassures us in Deuteronomy 7:9 WEB: "Know therefore that Yahweh your God himself is God, the faithful God, who keeps covenant and loving kindness with them who love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations."
