Good Health, Healing & Strength

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I thank You because You are the Lord who heals me. I commit my body, mind and spirit into Your hands. Let Your healing power flow through every part of my body. Restore my strength, renew my health and grant me long life to fulfil every purpose You have ordained for me. Let sickness, weakness and pain have no lasting place in my life. Father, I especially bring my eyes before You. You know the challenges I have been experiencing. Lord, touch my eyes with Your healing hand. Restore my eyesight, remove every condition affecting my vision and preserve my eyes from further deterioration. Grant me clear, healthy and strong eyesight so that I may read, work, study and serve You without limitation. Guide every healthcare provider who cares for me, and grant wisdom in every step I take regarding my eye health. Lord, strengthen my immune system, my lungs, my heart, my mind and every organ in my body. Let every cell function as You designed it. Give me restful sleep, renewed energy and the physical strength to carry out my work, studies, ministry and calling with excellence. Father, let divine health be my portion. Protect me from disease, accidents and every form of harm. May I enjoy good health, soundness of mind and strength all the days of my life, so that I may glorify You in all that I do. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

We join you in lifting up your request for healing, strength, and divine health, standing firmly on the promises of God’s Word. The Lord is indeed our Healer, as Exodus 15:26 declares, "If you diligently listen to the LORD your God’s voice, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am the LORD who heals you." We believe in His power to restore every part of your body, mind, spirit, and yes, even your eyes, according to His perfect will.

Your prayer reflects a heart of trust in the Lord’s sovereignty, and we stand with you in declaring that sickness, weakness, and pain have no place in your life. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and command it to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. The eyes are a precious gift from God, and we pray that He would touch them mightily, restoring clarity, strength, and full function. May His healing power flow through every cell, nerve, and fiber, bringing wholeness and vitality. We also lift up the healthcare providers involved in your care, asking the Lord to grant them wisdom, skill, and divine guidance as they serve you.

We are encouraged by your desire to serve God without limitation, and we pray that His strength would sustain you in every area of your life, work, study, ministry, and calling. Isaiah 40:31 reminds us, "But those who wait for the LORD will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." May you experience this renewal daily, walking in the fullness of God’s design for your life.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to heal and restore. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise of divine health. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that Your healing hand would rest upon every part of their body. Touch their eyes, Father, and remove every trace of disease, weakness, or deterioration. Restore their vision completely, that they may see clearly to read, work, study, and serve You with joy.

Strengthen their immune system, lungs, heart, and every organ, that each would function according to Your perfect design. Grant them restful sleep, renewed energy, and the physical stamina to fulfill the purposes You have ordained for them. Protect them from all harm, disease, and accidents, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Father, we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus’ name. May Your divine health be their portion, and may they walk in the fullness of life that You have promised. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Continue to stand on God’s Word and trust in His timing. We encourage you to meditate on Scriptures such as Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the LORD," and Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise the LORD, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." God is faithful, and His promises are true. Walk in faith, knowing that He hears your prayers and is working all things together for your good.

It’s hard to face ongoing eye trouble when so much of your calling, reading, studying, work, and serving, depends on clear vision. Your prayer for your eyes stood out to us, and we’re carrying that with you. We hear the deep desire not just for relief, but to be unhindered as you pour yourself into what God has given you.

While you continue to trust the Lord who heals, we’d gently encourage you to lean into the medical care He provides. When you pray “guide every healthcare provider who cares for me,” you’re already on solid ground, they are a practical part of His protection. Keep those appointments, follow their guidance, and if something isn’t adding up, don’t hesitate to seek a second opinion. That isn’t a lack of faith; it’s good stewardship of the body God gave you.

One other thing that helps when the need feels big and isolated: let a few people you trust at church pray with you in person. We weren’t meant to carry things like this alone. When others join their faith with yours, even a simple prayer can feel less like a weight and more like something you’re handing over together.

Your list of requests is long, from your immune system to your lungs to restful sleep, but we’re especially lifting up your eyes and the energy you need to walk out your daily life and ministry. We’re grateful you came to share this with us.

Father, thank you for this one’s faith and honesty. They have placed their body, mind, and spirit in Your hands, and we stand with them in asking for Your healing touch, particularly on their eyes. Give their doctors clarity and insight. Restore what has been diminished, and steady them with peace while they wait. Strengthen them physically and mentally for the work, study, and calling You’ve set before them. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Lord who formed the eye is well able to restore it. Touch the hem of His garment by faith, and the virtue that flowed to the blind man at Jericho flows still from the risen Christ. Our physical frame is but the garment of the soul, and He who robes the lilies will not neglect the bodies that house His own Spirit. Yet remember that the healing of the body often waits upon the healing of the soul. Pardon comes first, then the palsy departs. The paralytic heard "Your sins are forgiven" before he took up his bed and walked. So, too, the leaves of the Tree of Life heal the nations, not by physical touch alone, but because they are steeped in the blood of the Lamb. The balm of His atonement loses none of its power. It reaches the guilt of sin and the sickness of the eye alike.

But you have asked aright: "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength." When your own might is spent, when the eyes fail and the frame aches, then the eternal deep that couches beneath rises to bear you up. The self-same power that made the worlds is pledged to the weakest saint who leans upon the arm of the Beloved. I find myself a slow convalescent, and perhaps you will also recover step by step. Do not despise the gradual work. The physician’s skill, a night of restful sleep, the returning appetite, these are the commonplace means behind which the Divine Worker hides. He who turned the captivity of Job gave him double, but Job’s sores healed as nature mended what the boils had broken. Trust the process, and if the eye sees but dimly today, its very dimness may teach you to look inward to the soul’s clearer vision of Christ.

When Christ turned and looked upon Peter, that glance broke his heart and restored him in the same instant. That look is upon you now. It carries no condemnation, for there is no wrath in the eyes that wept over Jerusalem. It carries power. It melts the hardness fear creates. It quickens the flagging will. Let that look rest upon your eyes, your lungs, your heart, your mind. From the measureless fountain of His strength, draw what all eternity will not exhaust. Even if the outer man perishes, the inward man is renewed day by day. And the day comes, oh, cling to this, when the body itself shall be raised in incorruption. We are on our way to eternal health. The sickness of an hour is light indeed when set against the exceeding weight of glory soon to be revealed. A few more tears, a little more pain, and then “the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick.” Until that day, let the glory of your strength be the Lord Himself. He is your arm every morning, your salvation in the time of trouble.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have brought a good request before the Lord, asking for healing of your eyes and body. Yet consider this: the eye of the body may fail, but what of the eye of the understanding? For as the disordered eye mistakes objects, so does the mind when made turbid by the confusion of evil thoughts. Do you seek only to see clearly the things of this world, or do you long above all for that vision which beholds heavenly things? It is possible even now, while on earth, to stand in heaven by disposition, and to hear words from thence. Let your first cry be for the healing of the inner man.

Our Lord, when He touched Peter’s mother-in-law, not only quenched the fever but gave her back perfect health at once, a thing no physician could do. He is able to do the same for you. But if He delays, do not despair. God is not unrighteous to forget your work and the love you have shown, ministering to others. He sees your service. As an excellent physician, He sometimes permits the sickness to linger that a greater cure may be wrought in the soul. Do not then treat Him as though a brief season of prayer were enough to purchase bodily ease while you return to the things that breed spiritual disease. Will you give forty days to the health of the soul and then run back to the food that caused the fever? You ask for clear eyesight to read and study and serve without limitation. But tell me: if the Lord grants this, will your vision serve His glory, or will it be captive to the vain shows of the world? For the love of wealth and the love of hearing His word are opposed to each other. If you are entrusted with sound eyes, you stand in a place full of those sick with the dropsy of pride and covetousness. Enter then as a physician armed with the remedies of Scripture, and pour forth the true philosophy before all.

Do not make much of the forty days or the passing desire for healing, as if God could be bribed with a few fervent petitions after a lifetime of neglect. The tree often receives many blows before it falls, and though you see no fruit yet, have patience. The root is known to Him who sees it. He who delivered the publican from the fever of greed can deliver you. Only this: let your chief health be the soundness of the soul. Seek first that inner restoration, and then whether the Lord touches your eyes instantly or through the hands of physicians, you will glorify Him with a heart made whole. In the meantime, do not cease from your work and love; for He is not unrighteous to forget it, and your present suffering, borne with thanksgiving, may become a sharper sight into the things above than any bodily eye could give.

You are asking God to touch your eyes with His healing hand, and that is a prayer He understands deeply. Scripture speaks of eyes in ways that go far beyond the physical. When I read about Daniel’s vision, he describes being left without strength, his beauty turned to corruption, no breath left in him. A real encounter with God’s glory often undoes everything we thought we had. And yet, out of that place of being emptied, God lifted him up and gave him strength to continue. Your body may feel weak, your sight may feel threatened, but the Lord who made your eyes can also open them to see what only He can show.

I think of how often God uses vision to pull us into a deeper awareness of His realm. Daniel saw things that were to come long after his own lifetime. John on Patmos was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day and beheld the glorified Christ with eyes like a flame of fire. These men could not bear what they saw in their own strength, but God sustained them for His purpose. When you pray for your eyesight to be preserved and restored, you are not just asking for clearer physical vision. You are asking to continue reading, studying, serving, and beholding what God places before you. That desire honors Him.

The Scriptures also show a close connection between the prosperity of your soul and the state of your body. John’s wish for his friend was that he would prosper and be in health even as his soul prospered. That is not a blanket promise that every illness vanishes, but it reveals that deep inner peace shapes the physical life. Fear and anxiety can do measurable damage, while resting in God’s care often releases the body to function as He designed it. He created natural processes of healing within you, and those are no less divine than a sudden miracle.

Jesus took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. Matthew expands the prophecy of Isaiah to include physical healing, not spiritual healing only. Yet God does not always remove every weakness immediately. Paul asked three times for the thorn in his flesh to be taken, and the answer he received was that God’s grace was sufficient and His power perfected in weakness. That same grace is active in your body, your eyes, your lungs, every organ you named. You can trust Him to guide every healthcare provider and to give wisdom in each step you take regarding your eyes.

If your strength were in yourself alone, there would come a day when it would fail. But you are not relying on your own resources. You are looking to the Lord for His strength, and He will not let you down. Whether He heals through a gradual process or in a moment, whether He speaks peace into your mind so that your body can rest, the healing is His. The very sleep you need, the renewed energy you seek, comes from His hand. You can lie down tonight knowing He who keeps you neither slumbers nor sleeps.

Let no fear attach itself to your eyes. In Scripture, the eye is precious to God. To touch His people is to touch the apple of His eye. He guards what belongs to Him. As you wait for your sight to be preserved and your whole body to be strengthened, let your inner vision be fixed on Christ. When He is your focus, weakness does not have the final word. He is able to keep you in perfect peace as your mind stays on Him, and that peace can minister to every cell, every heartbeat, every breath. May you know His restoring power in the very places where you feel most fragile, and may your days ahead be filled with strength to fulfill all He has called you to do.
