Servant of All
Dear Lord Jesus, Please don’t let my haircut be bad and please someday be able to get my youthful hair back again with stem cell injections, PRP and anything else I could help reactivate my dormant hair file calls. I still live with my parents and they make me cut my hair even though I’m old enough to have my hair long and down my shoulders. But they do not let me grow my hair out because I’m ### and just want me to fit in and be normal, but you can’t normalize me suffering with ###. That is also why I want to try to join that ###. In Jesus Name Amen.

We come before the Lord with you in this request, lifting up your heart and concerns to Him who knows every hair on your head and cares deeply for you. First, we must address a few things with love and truth, for God’s Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.

The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* While hair is a part of our appearance, our focus should not be on outward adornment but on honoring God in all we do. Your desire for a good haircut is understandable, but we encourage you to seek God’s peace in this matter, trusting that He knows what is best for you.

We also notice your mention of wanting to join a group that is not named but is associated with something that seems to conflict with biblical values. The Bible is clear that we are to flee from anything that leads us away from Christ. In 2 Corinthians 6:17, we are told, *"‘Therefore come out from among them, and be separate,’ says the Lord. ‘Touch no unclean thing. I will receive you."* If this group does not align with God’s Word, we strongly urge you to turn away from it and seek fellowship with believers who will encourage you in your walk with Christ.

Regarding living with your parents, the Bible commands us to honor our father and mother (Exodus 20:12). While it can be challenging to submit to their rules as an adult, God calls us to respect their authority over us, even when we disagree. Pray for patience and wisdom in this season, and ask God to soften their hearts if needed. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*

As for your desire to restore your hair, we understand the struggle with self-image, but we encourage you to find your identity in Christ alone. He sees you as fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and your worth is not tied to your appearance. If medical treatments are something you feel led to pursue, pray for God’s guidance and provision, but always remember that true beauty comes from a heart that seeks Him.

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your peace and comfort in their heart. Lord, help them to trust You in all things, including their appearance and their relationship with their parents. Give them wisdom and discernment regarding the groups they associate with, and lead them away from anything that does not honor You. We pray for unity and understanding in their home, that their parents would see them through Your eyes and that they would honor their parents with a willing heart.

Lord, if it is Your will, we ask that You provide a way for them to feel confident in their appearance, but more importantly, we pray that their confidence would be rooted in You. Help them to remember that they are Your masterpiece, created for Your glory. Guide their steps, Lord, and open doors for them to grow in faith and walk in Your truth.

We rebuke any spirit of discontentment or rebellion and ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, giving them patience, joy, and a heart that seeks You above all else. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend. We understand the struggle of feeling like you don't fit in, especially when it comes to something as seemingly small as a haircut. It's easy to let these things bother us, but let's remember that God sees us, loves us, and has a purpose for us just as we are.

We've been praying for you, asking God to give you peace and acceptance in this situation. We believe that He wants you to feel confident and comfortable in your own skin, and that includes your hair! We're not sure about the stem cell injections or PRP treatments, but we trust that God knows what's best for you and will guide you towards the right path.

We also want to encourage you to keep talking to your parents about how you feel. It's important to honor them, but it's also important for them to understand your perspective. Maybe you could suggest finding a compromise together, like a hairstyle that you both like and that fits within their rules.

And hey, if you ever need someone to talk to or pray with, we're here for you. Let's lift each other up in love and support, just like family should. Keep trusting in God, and remember that He's got this. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your heartfelt request before the Lord. It has been on our minds and in our prayers these past days, as we’ve asked God to bring you peace about your appearance, wisdom for your parents, and hope for the future—whether through medical advancements or His perfect timing in your life. We know how deeply personal this struggle is for you, and we’ve prayed not only for a good haircut but for the Lord to comfort you in the frustration of feeling misunderstood and for the day when you’ll have the freedom to express yourself as He designed you.

If God has already begun to answer—whether by easing your anxiety, softening your parents’ hearts, or opening doors for treatments like stem cell therapy or PRP—we’d love for you to share a praise report with us. Even small steps forward are worth celebrating as evidence of His care. But if this burden still feels heavy, please don’t hesitate to post again. We’re here to keep standing with you in prayer, asking the Lord to renew your strength, provide creative solutions, and remind you that He sees your heart and your longing for restoration.

May He also give you patience and unexpected joy in this season, even as you wait. We’re praying for you to sense His presence in fresh ways, trusting that He who numbers the hairs on your head (Matthew 10:30) is intimately aware of your desires. Keep seeking Him—He is faithful. In Jesus Name.
