We rejoice with you in the blessings of a good day and the joy you find in your surroundings! It is wonderful to hear of your happiness and the care you have for your family, allies, and pets. The beauty of God’s creation, like the pink tree and roses you mentioned, is indeed a gift to be cherished.

However, we must address a few concerns with love and truth. First, the mention of a "secret job" and taking pictures or clippings "in secret" raises questions about transparency and integrity. Scripture tells us, "The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy" (Proverbs 12:22). If there is anything in your life that requires secrecy, we encourage you to examine whether it aligns with God’s will for honesty and openness. "For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open" (Luke 8:17).

Additionally, we noticed that while you mentioned the "blood of Jesus," you did not explicitly acknowledge Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior or pray in His name. Salvation and access to God come only through Jesus, as He Himself declared: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). If you have not already, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in Jesus Christ as your Savior, and commit your life to following Him. "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).

Father, we pray that she would fully surrender her life to Jesus Christ, if she has not already, and experience the fullness of Your love and grace. May she grow in wisdom, discernment, and faith as she seeks to honor You in all she does. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to reflect on the areas where transparency may be needed and to draw closer to Jesus, who is the source of all true joy and peace. There is a peace that stupefies like opium, a false calm that whispers, “No worries,” while the soul slumbers on the brink of ruin. You speak of your day, of beauty and secret things, of pink roses and a hidden job, and you seal it all with the blood of Jesus. But consider, does the blood of Jesus merely serve to bless our private delights? Or does it first whisper peace within by cleansing sin and bringing us low in submission to God? Many have great joy and much peace who are not saved; their joy springs from a mistake, their peace is the sand-built peace of their own imaginations.

The joy of the Lord is the strength, the beauty, the charm of His people, but it is a joy born of believing, a deep, still joy that often sits silent before the Lord, needing no secret snapping or clipping to sustain it. That holy peace is not the peace of apathy or levity, nor a peace purchased by hiding our doings. The God of peace ordains peace through the blood of the everlasting covenant, but He gives it to those whose mind is stayed on Him, not on secret self-pleasing. Examine your foundations. To get joy and peace through believing is God’s plan, but to get your believing as the result of your joy is a snare of Satan. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up. Until then, that “no worries” may be nothing but the calm before the storm.

You speak of having a good day, of looking beautiful like a modern classy lady, and you rejoice that your domain and your cats are safe while you work at a secret job. You have invoked the precious blood of Jesus. That is a holy name, and it is right to give thanks for every daily mercy. But see to it that your rejoicing is rooted not in outward things which fade, but in the grace and peace that come from above. For the Scripture says, "To be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace." True peace is not simply the absence of trouble or the comfort of a hidden place; it is the fruit of a heart reconciled to God through Christ. Many will say "Peace and safety," and then sudden destruction comes upon them, just as in the days of Noah when they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the flood swept them all away. Do not let your happiness lull you into insensibility toward holiness. The blood of Jesus cleanses, but we must "follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no one shall see the Lord."

If your secrets are honorable and pure, then the Father who sees in secret will reward you. But if anything shrinks from the light, cast it off, for nothing is so hostile to the soul as hidden vice. Let your mind dwell on whatsoever things are true, honorable, and of good report. The peace Christ bestows is not as the world gives; it makes you strong in love and fit for the kingdom. So let your beauty be that of a meek and quiet spirit, and let your safety rest in Him alone. Give thanks without ceasing, but set your affections on things above, not on fleeting comforts. For what will it profit if you gain every earthly delight and lose your own soul? May His grace preserve you blameless until the day of His appearing.

There is something deep within a person that longs for blessing, to know that life is under a covering of favor and safety, and the gladness you feel in these moments is a real shadow of what God desires for us. But Scripture shows us that the true blessing is always tied to the purposes of God, not merely to our feelings of security or beauty. Think of Isaac’s household: Esau craved the blessing, even sought it with tears, but he had already traded away the position the blessing rested on. He wanted it on his own terms, for his own comfort, not for God’s future. The blessing could not be grabbed like that; it had to flow through the line God had chosen, through the covenant itself.

Whenever we focus solely on a secret domain being safe, a secret job providing, or even the delight of clipped roses, we are touching the edges of blessing, but we must be careful not to bless ourselves in our own heart while walking in the imagination of a hidden path. The law could never bring blessing; it only pronounced a curse on those who disobey. The blessing comes another way, through the promise given to Abraham, and we enter that blessing by simple faith in Jesus the Messiah. He is our peace. Before we can know the peace of God, we must first experience the grace of God. For so many years people try to secure blessings by works, by keeping things secret, or by maintaining a certain appearance, but there is never real peace in that. The inner war continues because the heart knows it has not fully consecrated everything to Him.

The offerings we read of give us a picture: the burnt offering spoke of total consecration, a life wholly given over to God, and the peace offering spoke of sweet communion with Him. Those two belong together. You mention the blood of Jesus, and that is the only real ground for our safety and peace. His sacrifice broke down every wall. True safety is not ultimately found in a secret routine but in being hidden in that Rock which is higher than we are. God’s protection is a glorious reality for those who trust Him. When He blesses, He becomes our place of defense, and that is far more secure than any arrangement we can craft for ourselves.

God is calling you to a peace that is not fragile. He ordained peace for you, a deep soul-rest that comes when you stop running or hiding and surrender everything to Him. The mighty God, the Prince of Peace, wants to heal what is far off and bring it near. Do not settle for the temporal happiness of a good day when He offers the permanent blessing of His covenant. You are meant to be a child of the promise, not a child of the bondwoman, relating to God through your own efforts. He just keeps blessing those who come to Him through faith, not because they have managed their secrets well, but because He is good. His goodness leads us out of hidden places and into the light of His Son, where the war is finally over and the peace is deep and abiding.
