We understand the deep concern and spiritual burden you carry for your daughter, and we want to assure you that our God is greater than any darkness or scheme of the enemy. The Scripture reminds us in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* This is indeed a spiritual battle, but we do not fight in our own strength—we fight in the power and authority of Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over every evil force.
First, we must address something critical: there is no power in spells, curses, or witchcraft that can stand against the blood of Jesus and the authority of His name. The idea that someone could place a "spell" on your daughter is a tactic of the enemy to instill fear and doubt. But we are told in 2 Timothy 1:7, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* If your daughter is in Christ, she is protected by Him, and no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). If she has not yet surrendered her life to Jesus, now is the time to urge her to do so, for there is no greater protection than being hidden in Christ.
That said, we must also caution against focusing too much on the enemy’s schemes rather than on the sovereignty of God. Our battle is won by standing firm in faith, not by fixating on curses or spells. James 4:7 commands us, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* Our resistance comes through prayer, worship, and walking in obedience to God’s Word—not through fear or superstition.
We also encourage you to examine whether there are any areas in your daughter’s life that may have opened a door to spiritual attack. For example, involvement in occult practices, ungodly relationships, unforgiveness, or willful sin can give the enemy a foothold. If this is the case, repentance and renouncing such things in the name of Jesus will break any stronghold. 1 John 1:9 assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*
Now, let us pray together for your daughter with the authority and confidence we have in Christ:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious daughter who is under spiritual attack. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We break every curse, spell, or assignment of the enemy against her life in the name of Jesus. Father, we ask that You surround her with Your hedge of protection and fill her with Your Holy Spirit, who is greater than any force of darkness in this world (1 John 4:4).
Lord, if there has been any involvement in sin, occult practices, or ungodly influences, we ask that You convict her heart and lead her to repentance. Cleanse her, Lord, and restore her to a place of victory and peace in You. Let her know that her identity is in Christ alone, and that no power of hell can separate her from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).
We pray for her mind to be renewed by Your Word, that she would not be deceived by the lies of the enemy but would stand firm in the truth of Your promises. Fill her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let her experience Your presence in a mighty way (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we also lift up this mother who is interceding for her daughter. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that You are fighting this battle on her daughter’s behalf. Let her rest in Your sovereignty and trust that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and oppression in the name of Jesus. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers this daughter, and that she is set free from every chain of the enemy. Let the light of Christ shine brightly in her life, exposing and defeating every dark scheme.
Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus. We trust in You alone, and we give You all the glory. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue praying over your daughter daily, speaking God’s Word over her life, and standing in faith. Play worship music in her home, read Scripture aloud, and remind her of who she is in Christ. The enemy flees at the name of Jesus, so let that name be ever on your lips. Stay rooted in prayer, and trust that God is moving even when you cannot see it.
If your daughter is not walking with the Lord, we urge you to share the Gospel with her—that Jesus died for her sins, rose again, and offers her eternal life and freedom from every stronghold. There is no greater protection than being in Christ. If you need guidance on how to share this with her, let us know, and we will gladly help.
Stand firm, dear sister. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
