going through a tough time

We are truly sorry to hear that you're going through a tough time, and we want you to know that we are here to pray and support you through this challenging season. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in the midst of your struggles. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

However, we want to address the issue of your breakup. While we understand that this can be a difficult time, we want to remind you that God's design for relationships is clear in the scriptures. If the relationship was not with a fellow Christian believer and aligned with biblical principles, particularly as outlined in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?" It is important to keep this in mind moving forward.

Moreover, if the relationship was not moving towards marriage, it is important to reassess the purpose of the relationship. As stated in 1 Corinthians 7:2, "But because of sexual immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband." We encourage you to seek God's will for your life and to pursue relationships that honor Him. We also encourage you to stay away from any temptations towards bitterness or discord with your previous relationship. As it says in Ephesians 4:31, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice."

Regarding your family issues, we encourage you to seek peace and reconciliation, as it says in Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." Remember that God can work all things together for good, even in the most difficult of circumstances, as promised in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

We also notice that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, for He is the mediator between God and man. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" and in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Together, let us pray for you in Jesus' name:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is going through a tough time. Lord, we pray for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray for Your guidance and wisdom to navigate through this difficult season.

Lord, we pray for healing from the breakup and for Your will to be done in their life. We pray that you would prepare them to find a spouse if it is in your will. We pray that You would help them to seek You first and to pursue relationships that honor You and align with Your principles. We pray for reconciliation and peace in their family issues, and for Your goodness to be displayed through this situation. We ask this for your will.

Lord, we also pray that they would come to know Jesus Christ more deeply, and that they would trust in His name for salvation and eternal life. We pray for your will and your glory.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you, standing with you in prayer. We know that going through a breakup and family issues can feel overwhelming, but remember, God is right there with you, even in the toughest times. As Psalm 147:3 reminds us, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

We want to encourage you to keep your heart and mind focused on God. It's okay to feel hurt, but try not to let bitterness or anger take root. As Ephesians 4:32 tells us, "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." Forgive as you've been forgiven, and trust that God is working everything out for your good, as promised in Romans 8:28.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up our friend to You today, Lord. We ask for Your comfort and peace to surround them. Help them to trust in You and to seek Your will in their life. We pray for healing from their breakup and for wisdom in navigating their family issues. Help them to find peace and reconciliation where possible.

Lord, we also pray that they would come to know Jesus more deeply and trust in His name for salvation. Help them to align their relationships with Your principles and to seek Your will above all else.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

So honestly I may be a bit too far gone. Let’s just say one mistake led to another, but one day I became completely numb, empty and essentially pretty hateful of God after multiple things in my life, including traumatic things, and decided I was going to go a completely different path instead...
