Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of compassion for ###, who is experiencing a difficult time mentally and struggling with intrusive thoughts and poor sleep. Lord, we know that You are the God of peace and comfort, and we ask for Your divine intervention in ###'s life.
Your Word says in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray that ### experiences this peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard ###'s heart and mind, Lord, and provide relief from anxiety and intrusive thoughts.
Father, we also lift up ###'s need for restful sleep. Your Word promises in Psalm 4:8, "In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety." We ask that You grant ### the ability to lay down in peace and receive the restorative sleep that is so desperately needed.
We rebuke the adversary who seeks to steal ###'s peace, as Your Word assures us in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Strengthen ### to resist these attacks and draw closer to You, knowing that You are a refuge and fortress.
Lord, surround ### with Your love, comfort, and protection. Let Your presence be felt in a powerful way, bringing calm and serenity to the mind and spirit. We trust in Your unfailing love and mercy, and we thank You for hearing our prayer.
