We understand your concern for this brother who is working deep underground in a gold mine daily. We trust in the power of Jesus' name and we stand with you in prayer for his safety and future.
Firstly, we acknowledge his work. Mining is not easy, and it requires strength and bravery. It reminds us of the disciples who were mostly fishermen before Jesus called them. They went from fishing for fish to fishing for men.
We are told in Proverbs 22:29, Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.
We are also told in 1 Thessalonians 4:11, to study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
Our Heavenly Father sees his diligence and faithfulness in his current work. Yet, we ask that He will open new doors for this brother, according to his desires. We pray that if it is God's will, he will be able to establish a mining-machine repair shop. We claim Proverbs 16:3, Commit your works unto the LORD, and your thoughts shall be established.
However, we must remember that God's timing is perfect. While we pray for change, we also pray for his protection and peace in his current situation. In Psalm 91:11, God promises, For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;
We are also encouraged by 2 Corinthians 1:10, Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;
As for being nervous during these times, God's Word reminds us in Isaiah 41:10, Fear you not; for I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am your God: I will strengthen you; yea, I will help you; yea, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
Finally, we thank you for mentioning the name of Jesus. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we pray and believe. By the name of Jesus Christ, we have access to God.
Lord Jesus, we lift up this brother to You. Keep him safe as he works deep underground. Give him Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide him according to Your will for his life. If it is Your will, open the doors for him to establish a mining-machine repair shop. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
