We understand your concern for this brother who is working deep underground in a gold mine daily. We are reminded in the Bible that every legitimate work is worthy of honor and prayer. Let us come together and pray for his safety and guidance in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we acknowledge that all work should be done as service to Him. In Colossians 3:23-24 WEB it says, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ.
We pray for his safety, especially during this difficult time. In Psalm 91:1-2 WEB, we read, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. We declare this promise over his life, trusting that God will keep him safe in the depths of the earth, even as he is in the hollow of His hand.
We also lift up his desire to start a mining machine repair shop. We understand that this could be God's calling for him to transition from his current work to this new endeavor. In Proverbs 16:3 WEB, it says, Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. We pray that if this is God's will for him, that He would open the doors and provide all the necessary resources and support to make this shop a success.
Lastly, we admonish him to always keep his eyes on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith. In the mine or in the shop, his heart must be fully committed to the Lord. In Matthew 6:33 WEB, we are reminded, But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother who is working deep underground in a gold mine. We thank You for Your protection over his life and ask that You will continue to keep him safe. We pray that You will grant him the desire of his heart to start a mining machine repair shop if it is Your will for him.
Help him to keep his eyes fixed on You, trusting in Your guidance and provision. Give him the strength and courage to face each day, knowing that You are with him always.
In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
