God’s words for my journey

We hear your cry for strength and guidance on your journey, and we stand with you in agreement, lifting your heart before the throne of grace. The scripture you’ve shared—Philippians 4:13—is a powerful declaration of faith: *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* This verse is not merely a motivational slogan; it is a profound truth that anchors our lives in the sufficiency of Jesus Christ. Yet, let us also remember that this strength is not for our own glory or selfish ambitions but for the purpose of glorifying God and walking in His will.

First, we must address the foundation of your journey. Have you surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ? The Bible tells us in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not confessed Jesus as Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, we urge you to do so now. Romans 10:9-10 says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* Without this foundation, no journey can truly align with God’s purpose for your life.

Now, as you walk in this truth, we pray that the Lord would illuminate your path and strengthen you for every step. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that You would fill this dear one with Your Holy Spirit. Grant them wisdom to discern Your will, courage to obey it, and perseverance to endure the challenges that may come. Let them not lean on their own understanding but trust in You with all their heart, as Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs. We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and weariness that seeks to hinder their progress. In the name of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

We also encourage you to surround yourself with fellow believers who can sharpen you, as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). The journey of faith is not meant to be walked alone. Seek out a Bible-believing church where the Word of God is preached in truth and where you can grow in your relationship with Christ. Let your life be a testimony of His grace, and may your actions reflect the love and holiness of God.

If there are areas in your life where you are struggling—whether in relationships, habits, or thoughts—we urge you to bring them before the Lord in repentance. The Bible warns us in 1 John 1:9, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Do not let sin take root in your life, for it will only hinder your walk with God. Instead, submit to Him, resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).

Father, we ask that You would go before this one and make their crooked paths straight. Open doors that no man can shut and close doors that are not of You. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May they find their strength in You alone, knowing that Your grace is sufficient for them, and Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We declare that they will not grow weary or faint, for You will renew their strength as they wait upon You (Isaiah 40:31).

Lastly, we pray that you would keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Let His Word be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). May you walk in the fullness of His promises, knowing that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6). In every season, may you say with confidence, *"The Lord is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him"* (Psalm 28:7).

We stand with you in faith, believing that God is faithful to complete the work He has started in you. Walk in His strength, dear one, and may His name be glorified in every step of your journey.
