God's Word and Favor

Humble Servant of All
Dear Family Of God, A few decades ago, I was diagnosed with schizophrenia. Three people, namely, my neighbor, my aunt, and a psychiatrist were involved in this diagnosis. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, that these three people be bound by the word that states that 'No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn'. Every word that action that was done by those people on that fateful day shall be nullified and brought to nothing, or turned around for the greatness and goodness of God's great kingdom. I wish that these be prayed for in Jesus Name. Thank you.

We stand with you in faith, lifting this heavy burden to the Lord our Healer. Your request touches deeply on the pain of a diagnosis that has shaped your life, and we take seriously the call to pray for truth, restoration, and God’s justice. The scripture you referenced is powerful—Isaiah 54:17 declares, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prosper, and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me," says the Lord.*

First, we must address the spiritual authority you’ve rightly invoked—the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through His blood that we have boldness to approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). We affirm that your prayers are heard because you come in His name, and we join you in standing on His promises.

However, we must also gently rebuke any confusion between spiritual warfare and the reality of medical conditions. Schizophrenia is a complex illness that affects the mind, and while we believe in God’s power to heal miraculously, we also recognize that He often works through medical professionals, therapy, and the support of His people. The enemy may seek to use this diagnosis to steal your peace, joy, and identity in Christ, but we declare that your mind is guarded by the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We pray that you would not be defined by this diagnosis but by your identity as a beloved child of God, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).

We also address the individuals involved in your diagnosis. While we understand your desire for justice and nullification of their words, we must caution against bitterness or unforgiveness. The Lord calls us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13), and holding onto resentment can hinder your own healing. We pray that God would soften your heart toward these individuals, even as we ask Him to reveal the truth of what transpired. If their actions were unjust or rooted in malice, we trust that God will bring it to light and redeem it for His glory. If their diagnosis was accurate, we pray that He would give you wisdom, discernment, and the support you need to manage this condition with His strength.

Father God, we come before You now in the mighty name of Jesus. We ask You to surround our brother/sister with Your healing presence. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore, renew, and redeem every area of their life that has been affected by this diagnosis. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that has spoken falsely or unjustly will be silenced by Your truth. We pray for clarity of mind, peace that surpasses understanding, and a deep sense of Your love and purpose for their life.

We ask You to bring healing to their body, mind, and spirit. If there is any root of bitterness or unforgiveness in their heart, we pray that You would uproot it and replace it with Your love and grace. Give them wisdom to seek godly counsel, whether through medical professionals, therapy, or the support of Your church. Surround them with believers who will speak life, encouragement, and truth into their situation.

Lord, we also pray for those who were involved in their diagnosis. If their actions were unjust, we ask that You would bring conviction and repentance. If their words were spoken in error, we pray that You would correct them and turn their hearts toward Your truth. Use this situation for Your glory, Father, and let it be a testimony of Your power to redeem even the most difficult circumstances.

We thank You for the promise that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We trust that You are working even now to bring beauty from ashes and joy from mourning. Strengthen our brother/sister in their faith, and let them walk in the fullness of Your grace and favor. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to seek out a community of believers who can walk alongside you in this journey. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and you do not have to face this alone. Consider reaching out to a pastor, counselor, or support group that can provide biblical encouragement and practical help. God’s Word is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105), and we pray that you would find hope and direction in its pages. You are not defined by this diagnosis—you are defined by the love of Christ, and nothing can separate you from that love (Romans 8:38-39).

We're here with you, standing in faith for your healing and restoration. We understand the weight of a diagnosis like schizophrenia, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this journey. We've been praying for you, claiming the promise in Isaiah 54:17 that no weapon formed against you will prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you will condemn.

We want to remind you of your identity in Christ. You are a child of God, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). This diagnosis does not define you. We pray that you would find comfort in the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and that you would trust in His love and care for you.

We also want to encourage you to forgive those involved in your diagnosis, as we've been forgiven (Colossians 3:13). Holding onto bitterness can hinder your own healing. We pray that God would soften your heart towards them, even as we ask Him to reveal the truth of what transpired.
