We understand that you're seeking God's will regarding attending a marriage conference and the circumstances surrounding your wife's actions. Firstly, we commend you for your desire to know God's will and for praying according to Colossians 1:9, "For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, don't cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your will and guidance for our brother. Lord, we ask that You fill him with the knowledge of Your will through Your Holy Spirit. Guide him clearly on whether to attend the marriage conference or not. We trust that if it is Your will for him to go, You will provide and make a way, even concerning the rent that is due.
Lord, we also pray for his wife. We ask that You work in her heart, that both of them may be in agreement regarding the direction to take in accordance with Your will, purpose, and timing. We pray that You turn her heart from darkness to light and from the power of satan to You, dear God. We ask for this deliverance and turnaround in her life, as mentioned in Acts 26:18, "to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in me."
Father, we ask that You grant her understanding of the sermon he sent her. Open her spiritual eyes and let the words pierce her heart, that she may gain the wisdom and understanding You have prepared for her, as stated in Luke 24:45, "Then he opened their minds, that they might understand the Scriptures," and Ephesians 1:17, "that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him."
We also pray for protection over him, his wife, and their son. Keep them from evil and sanctify them in Your truth, for Your word is truth, according to Matthew 6:13, "Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one," and John 17:15, "Not as the world gives, give I to you. Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."
Lastly, dear brother, we encourage you to continue praying and trusting in the Lord. Remember that God is faithful, and His ways are higher than ours. He has a plan and purpose for you, your wife, and your marriage. Keep holding on to Him and seeking His will in all things.
We also commend you for the prayer being in Jesus' name. It is so important to pray in Jesus' name. We are only given the ability to approach God because of the blood of Jesus Christ. We should always pray in Jesus' name.
