Beloved
🙌 Father in Heaven, thank You for being RICH in mercy, when we were dead in sin made us alive in Christ by grace, Eph 2:4-5. We ask you continue to fill us with the knowledge of your Will with wisdom and understanding so we may walk worthy in every way, bearing fruit in our works, growing be increasing in the Knowledge of God, strengthened with all power, joyously giving thanks for qualifying us to share in Christ, Col 1:9-11. We ask You, who gave us Your Only Begotten Son, and along with Him graciously give us all things, Rom 8:32, to give our family members, all those lost and those that are walking with You the SAME hope, Lord, faith, baptism and Father, Eph 4:4-6. Give us grace to turn to You so the veil is taken away, 2 Cor 3:16. Shine in their hearts (and ours) the Light of the Knowledge of the Glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, 2 Cor 4:6. Let The Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation to know you better be given, so we know You more intimately, so we can know the hope of Your calling, and the riches of Christ's inheritance, and exceedingly great power, Eph 1:17-18. Give us spiritual hunger and thirst for righteousness, Mt 5:6, "desire the sincere milk of the Word so we may grow," 1 Peter 2:2, and, "give us our Daily Bread," Matt 6:11, we need every Word that has proceeded from Your Mouth, Deut 6:3, Matt 4:4. "Open our minds to put the Scriptures together as a puzzle" (συνιέναι; Luke 24:45). Strengthen us to use daily, Chronological and Systematic Bible reading plans, Josh 1:8, Tim 4:13, 2 Tim 2:15.

Help us enjoy our journey, "awakening our ears morning by morning to hear as disciples" (Isaiah 50:4-5), talking with you and each other about what we read, as it is written, "the one who receives instruction in the word must share in all good things with his instructor," Gal 6:6. As always, guard us from distractions, sin and the evil one, Ps 91:11-12, Mt 6:13, Jn 17:15. Help us receive the Word engrafted, (James 1:21, so we may be a doers of the Word, not hearers only, James 1:22. We thank and praise You in advance for granting us wisdom, Col 1:9, favor, Ps 5:12, and protection from temptation and evil, Matt 6:13, evil people and imposters, 2 Tim 3:13, false believers, 2 Cor 11:26, deception, Mt 24:4, and the one who pulls their strings, 1 Jn 5:19, the evil one himself, John 17:15, in the Authority of The Name of Jesus, Jesus The One God and Mediator between God and Man, 1 Tim 2:5. Thank you in the NAME of Jesus the One Mediator between God and Man, 1 Tim 2:5, in Jesus' Name, Amen 2 Cor 1:20, Rev 3:14...

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the richness of God’s mercy, which has made us alive in Christ even when we were dead in sin. Your Word reminds us in Ephesians 2:4-5 that it is by grace we have been saved, not by our own works, so that no one may boast. We rejoice in this truth and lift up this prayer together, seeking to align our lives more fully with Your will.

Father, we ask that You continue to fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, just as Paul prayed for the Colossians in Colossians 1:9. May this knowledge guide our steps so that we may walk in a manner worthy of You, bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God. Strengthen us with all power according to Your glorious might, so that we may endure with joy, giving thanks to You for qualifying us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.

We are grateful that You did not spare Your own Son but delivered Him up for us all, and with Him, You freely give us all things (Romans 8:32). We pray that this same grace would be poured out upon our family members, both those who are lost and those who are walking with You. Lord, unite us in the same hope, faith, and baptism, with You as our one Father, as Ephesians 4:4-6 declares. Remove the veil from their hearts so that they may turn to You, for as 2 Corinthians 3:16 tells us, when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

Shine the light of the knowledge of Your glory in the face of Jesus Christ into our hearts and theirs, as You promised in 2 Corinthians 4:6. We ask for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that we may know You more intimately, understanding the hope of Your calling, the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints, and the exceeding greatness of Your power toward us who believe (Ephesians 1:17-19).

Create in us a spiritual hunger and thirst for righteousness, that we may be filled (Matthew 5:6). Give us a deep desire for the pure milk of Your Word, that we may grow thereby (1 Peter 2:2). Open our minds to understand the Scriptures, just as You did for the disciples on the road to Emmaus (Luke 24:45). Help us to be doers of the Word and not hearers only, deceiving ourselves (James 1:22). May Your Word be engrafted in our hearts, able to save our souls (James 1:21).

We commit to daily, chronological, and systematic Bible reading, meditating on Your Word day and night, as Joshua 1:8 commands, so that we may observe to do all that is written in it. May we delight in Your law, as Psalm 1:2 describes, and may Your Word be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). Awaken our ears morning by morning to hear as disciples, as Isaiah 50:4-5 declares, and give us the grace to share what we learn with one another, for as Galatians 6:6 reminds us, the one who receives instruction in the Word must share in all good things with their instructor.

Guard us from distractions, sin, and the evil one, for we know that he prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). Deliver us from temptation and evil, as we pray in the Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:13), and keep us from the evil one, as Jesus prayed in John 17:15. Protect us from false believers, deceivers, and impostors who grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived (2 Timothy 3:13). Shield us from the deception of the world, for we know that the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one (1 John 5:19).

We thank You in advance for granting us wisdom, favor, and protection, as we trust in Your promises. May we walk in the authority of the name of Jesus, the one Mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5), for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God (Revelation 3:14), for all the promises of God find their "Yes" in Him (2 Corinthians 1:20).

Lord, we surrender our lives, our families, and our journey with You into Your hands. May Your will be done in us and through us, for Your glory and honor. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Father, we join our hearts with this dear brother or sister in lifting up their prayer request. We thank You for the gift of Your Word that gives us life and direction. Lord, we ask that You would open our eyes to see You more clearly in Scripture, that we might be transformed from the inside out. Help us to approach Your Word with fresh hunger each day, not just as a duty but as the very breath of life.

We pray that as we read, You would reveal Yourself to us in ways that bring hope and clarity. Guard our hearts from distractions that pull us away from You and give us a burning desire to know You more intimately. May our time in the Bible become a sweet conversation with You, where we not only receive but also respond in obedience.

Lord, we ask that You would do the same work in the hearts of our loved ones who don’t yet know You. Soften their hearts and remove any veils that keep them from seeing the truth. Let them taste and see that You are good through the work of the Holy Spirit.

Keep us all safe from the enemy’s schemes and from the lies that seek to deceive. Strengthen us in Your truth and lead us in the path of righteousness for Your name’s sake.

We love You, Lord, and we trust You with this journey. May Your Word be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.

In Jesus’ name we pray.
