Beloved of All
🙌 Father, we enter Your gates with thanksgiving, and enter Your Courts with Praise, Ps 100:4. We pray for our family members, those lost and those that are walking with You to be of one faith, one hope, same baptism and Father, Eph 4:4-6. Shine in their hearts (and ours) the Light of the Knowledge of the Glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, 2 Cor 4:6. Let The Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation to know you better be given, so we know the hope of Your calling, and the riches of Christ's inheritance, Eph 1:17-18. Give us spiritual hunger for the "sincere milk of the Word," 1 Peter 2:2, and, "give us our Daily Bread," Matt 6:11. "Open our minds to put the Scriptures together as a puzzle" (συνιέναι; Luke 24:45). Strengthen us to use daily, Chronological and Systematic Bible reading plans, Josh 1:8, Tim 4:13, 2 Tim 2:15.

Help us enjoy our journey, "awakening our ears morning by morning to hear as disciples" (Isaiah 50:4-5), talking with you and each other about what we read, as it is written, "the one who receives instruction in the word must share in all good things with his instructor," Gal 6:6. As always, guard us from distractions, sin and the evil one, Ps 91:11-12, Mt 6:13, Jn 17:15. Help us receive the Word engrafted, (James 1:21, so we may be a doers of the Word, not hearers only, James 1:22. We thank and praise You in advance for granting us wisdom, Col 1:9, favor, Ps 5:12, and protection from temptation and evil, Matt 6:13, evil people and imposters, 2 Tim 3:13, false believers, 2 Cor 11:26, deception, Mt 24:4, and the one who pulls their strings, 1 Jn 5:19, the evil one himself, John 17:15, in the Authority of The Name of Jesus, Jesus The One God and Mediator between God and Man, 1 Tim 2:5. Thank you in the NAME of Jesus the One Mediator between God and Man, 1 Tim 2:5, in Jesus' Name, Amen 2 Cor 1:20, Rev 3:14...

We join together with you in this beautiful and comprehensive prayer for wisdom, hunger for the Word, unity, and protection, and we thank God for your heart that desires to know Him and to walk in His will.

We rejoice that you have entered His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise as Ps 100:4 teaches us, Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him, and bless his name. Your prayer aligns so well with the heart of Scripture. We love your desire for your family, both those who are lost and those who are walking with the Lord, to be brought into the unity that Paul describes in Eph 4:4-6, There is one body and one Spirit, even as you also were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

We agree with you for the knowledge of God's will and for spiritual understanding. As it is written in Col 1:9, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray with you for that spirit of wisdom and revelation spoken of in Eph 1:17-18, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.

We also stand with you for that deep hunger for the Word and for minds opened to understand it. You asked so rightly for hunger for the sincere milk of the Word as in 1 Pet 2:2, as newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the Word, that with it you may grow, and for our daily bread as Jesus taught us to pray in Matt 6:11, Give us today our daily bread. We pray that the Lord will indeed open your minds as He did for the disciples in Luke 24:45, Then he opened their minds, that they might understand the Scriptures, so that you can put the Scriptures together as a puzzle and rightly divide the word of truth as 2 Tim 2:15 exhorts us, Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth. We affirm your commitment to meditate on the Word day and night as in Josh 1:8 and to give attention to reading as in 1 Tim 4:13.

We love your heart to not only hear but to obey. We pray with you from James 1:21-22, Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves. And we pray that your journey will be joyful as you hear morning by morning as a disciple, as promised in Isa 50:4, The Lord Yahweh has given me the tongue of those who are taught, that I may know how to sustain with words him who is weary. He wakens morning by morning, he wakens my ear to hear as those who are taught.

We also agree together for your protection. We ask the Father to guard you from distraction, sin, and the evil one, as Jesus prayed in John 17:15, I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one, and as we pray in Matt 6:13, Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. We claim Ps 91:11-12 over you, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone. And we pray for deliverance from deception and from evil men and impostors as in 2 Tim 3:13 and Matt 24:4, and we remember that the whole world lies in the power of the evil one as in 1 John 5:19, but greater is He who is in us.

We thank God that you have prayed so clearly in the authority of the Name of Jesus, the one Mediator between God and men as in 1 Tim 2:5, For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His Name that our prayers are heard and answered.

So Father, we come together before Your throne in the Name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for this dear one and their family. We ask You to shine in all of our hearts the light of the knowledge of Your glory in the face of Jesus Christ according to 2 Cor 4:6. Fill us with the knowledge of Your will, give us hunger for Your Word, open our minds to understand the Scriptures, and make us doers and not hearers only. Teach us to enjoy daily fellowship with You and with one another as we share what You teach us, according to Gal 6:6. Cover us with Your favor as with a shield according to Ps 5:12, guard us from all evil and deception, and cause us to walk in wisdom and obedience all the days of our lives. We thank and praise You in advance for what You will do, for all the promises of God in Him are Yes and Amen to the glory of God through us according to 2 Cor 1:20. In the mighty and matchless Name of Jesus, our one Mediator, we pray, Amen.

We were encouraged reading your prayer and hearing your deep desire to know the Lord more fully and to see your family walk together in unity and faith. That hunger for His Word and His will is a beautiful thing and we thank God for it in you.

What you describe, wanting to understand Scripture, to live it out daily, and to stay guarded from distraction, is a lifelong walk. We have found it helps to remember that growth is usually gradual and quiet, with ups and downs over time rather than all at once. The Lord uses steady time in His Word, honest prayer, and worship together with other believers to shape us, and it is His Spirit who truly makes that growth happen. Each person and family will find a slightly different rhythm that helps them stay close to Him.

It may help to hold your chronological and systematic reading plans as steady training for the long haul, not a test to get through quickly, and to keep sharing briefly what you are learning with each other. Even a few minutes talking together about what you read morning by morning can keep the Word alive in your hearts and help you encourage one another.

Father, we lift this family to You with thanksgiving. Deepen their hunger for Your Word, give them wisdom to know Your will, and keep them from temptation and evil. Draw each one closer to Jesus, our one mediator, and lead them together in hope and faith day by day. In Jesus' name, Amen.

There is great cause for thanksgiving in the prayer you have set before the Lord, for this hunger for His Word and this burden for your household are themselves gifts of His grace. We join you in entering His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise, according to Psalm 100:4, and we bring your family before the throne of mercy.

We pray that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, as in Colossians 1:9, and that the Father of glory may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, that the eyes of your understanding being enlightened you may know what is the hope of His calling and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, according to Ephesians 1:17 and 18. May the Lord shine in your hearts and in the hearts of your loved ones the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, as in 2 Corinthians 4:6, and bring those who are yet lost to saving faith in Christ alone, for there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

We ask that the Lord would keep alive in you that sincere hunger as newborn babes for the sincere milk of the Word, that you may grow thereby, as in 1 Peter 2:2, and that He would give you your daily bread and make His Word sweeter to your taste than honey. His truth never cloys, and the more you feed upon it the more you will desire it. May He open your understanding that you might understand the Scriptures, as in Luke 24:45, and help you to put the Word together as a perfect whole, loving its precepts and its promises and its doctrines alike. We pray that your plan of daily, chronological and systematic reading, according to Joshua 1:8 and 2 Timothy 2:15, may be sustained by grace, and that you may awaken morning by morning to hear as disciples, as in Isaiah 50:4, talking together of what you have read, sharing in all good things as those instructed in the Word, as in Galatians 6:6.

We pray also for the obedience of faith. Faith in the Lord Jesus teaches obedience and creates it, and the more of faith you have the more of obedience you will manifest. May you receive with meekness the engrafted Word which is able to save your souls, and be doers of the Word and not hearers only, as in James 1:21 and 22. Let your obedience be exact and cheerful, not as the horse that needs whip and spur, but as those whose love gives wings to their heels.

And we ask the Lord to keep you, to guard you from distraction and sin and the evil one, as in Matthew 6:13 and John 17:15, to give His angels charge over you, as in Psalm 91:11, and to deliver you from temptation and from evil men and impostors and false brethren and all deception, for the whole world lies in wickedness and we need His keeping power every hour. May He grant you wisdom and favor and protection, and cause you to walk in the unity of one faith, one hope, one baptism, one God and Father of all, as in Ephesians 4:4 to 6.

We thank Him in advance for what He will do, trusting not in our prayers but in the authority of the Name of Jesus, through whom we have access, and in whom all the promises of God are yea and amen. May your journey in the Word be joyful, and may your household see the glory of God as lost ones are converted and saints are built up, to the praise of His grace. In the Name of Jesus our only Mediator we pray, Amen.

Your prayer is good and faithful, and it gives thanks in the right way, for you enter His gates with thanksgiving and seek first His wisdom and His Word. I thank God with you for this hunger He has stirred in you and in your family, a hunger for the sincere milk of the Word and for the daily bread that truly nourishes.

I pray with you that God will fill you with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, as you asked from Colossians 1:9, and that He will give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation to know Him better, that the eyes of your hearts may be enlightened to know the hope of His calling and the riches of His inheritance, as in Ephesians 1:17 and 18. May He make you truly thirsty for His Word, for those who come to the divine preaching must come as thirsty people come to water, eagerly desiring it and drinking deeply until they are satisfied. God is able to nourish the hungry not by bread alone but by every word that comes from His mouth, and He will sustain you even as you hunger and thirst for righteousness.

Continue as you have begun, awakening morning by morning to hear as disciples, and opening the Scriptures together. It is a good and profitable practice to take up beforehand the portion you will study, so that your reading prepares the way for understanding. Keep your daily and systematic reading, meditating on it day and night, and talk about what you read with one another, sharing good things with those who teach, as Galatians 6:6 says. And remember that faith and life hold together. It is not enough to say Lord, Lord, but to do the will of the Father. Receive the engrafted Word with meekness and be doers of the Word and not hearers only, for we are under the snare of the enemy not only when faith fails but when life is neglected. The Word must be lived, in almsgiving and mercy and in keeping His commandments.

I pray also for your protection as you have asked. May the Lord guard you from distraction and sin and keep you from the evil one, as He promised in Matthew 6:13 and John 17:15. May He keep you from deception, from false teaching and from the schemes of the evil one who seeks to lead astray, and keep your household united in one faith, one hope, one baptism, one God and Father of all, as Ephesians 4 teaches, for the Church is not a name of separation but of unity and concord.

May God grant you wisdom, favor and steadfastness, and open your minds as He opened the minds of His disciples to understand the Scriptures, that you may put them together and see Christ in them. All this I ask in the authority of the Name of Jesus, the one Mediator between God and man, through whom alone we have access to the Father. Amen.
