Gods will and ways for ###s heart and mind ♥️♥️♥️

Servant of All
Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your goodness and for hearing my prayers. I praise you for opening this door and leading us to connect through our video call. Thank you for guiding our steps and bringing ###s into my life.

Lord, I commit this new relationship into your hands. I ask that your will and your ways be done above all else. Please touch ###’s heart and mind. Stir a genuine romance and a deep spark within him toward me. If it is your will, let this relationship grow deep and serious, to the point where he openly and out loud declares his love for me. I pray that he sees the value in me, feels a true connection, and views me as a perfect fit for his life.

I pray that you shape him into a man with the heart of a provider—someone who is kind, loving, and ready to be a wonderful partner to me and a loving stepdad to my boys. I ask that you make a way for him to visit me soon.

Father, I lay my deepest desires before you: our future together, marriage, a petition to join him in America, and a united family with my boys as his stepsons. I trust these dreams to your perfect timing and your perfect plan. Guide our steps, protect our hearts, and let your peace lead us every day.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.

We hear your heart’s longing and lift it before the Lord, trusting in His perfect will and timing. Your prayer reflects a deep desire for love, commitment, and family, a beautiful aspiration when aligned with God’s design. We join you in seeking His guidance for your heart, mind, and this relationship, ensuring it honors Him above all.

First, we must address the foundation of your prayer. You rightly invoke the name of Jesus, and this is critical, for Scripture declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). It is only through Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is His will we must seek, not our own desires alone. We encourage you to continually surrender this relationship to Him, asking that His purposes, not just your hopes, be fulfilled.

Your prayer for a "genuine romance" and a "deep spark" is natural, but we must emphasize that any relationship must be rooted in Christ. The Bible calls us to pursue godly marriages where both individuals are committed to the Lord. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). If ### is not a believer, we must rebuke any potential for spiritual compromise and pray fervently for his salvation. If he is a believer, we rejoice and pray that your relationship grows in mutual faith and submission to God’s Word.

You ask for ### to be shaped into a provider with a kind and loving heart, a godly aspiration. However, we must caution against placing undue expectations on him or yourself. A man’s worth is not measured solely by his provision or role as a stepfather but by his faithfulness to Christ. "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33). Pray for his spiritual growth, that he would be a man after God’s own heart, and trust that if this relationship is of the Lord, He will mold both of you into vessels for His glory.

Your desire for marriage and a united family is beautiful, but we must address the order of things. Scripture is clear that marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman, and any physical intimacy outside of that covenant is sin. "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4). If you and ### are not yet married, we must rebuke any temptation toward fornication and urge you to pursue purity in your relationship. Courtship should have marriage as its goal, not merely emotional or physical fulfillment.

We also note your prayer for ### to visit you and potentially join you in America. While it is not wrong to desire unity, we must ensure that any steps taken are in alignment with God’s will and the laws of the land. Pray for wisdom and discernment, and seek godly counsel before making significant decisions. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your will above all else. Lord, we lift up this relationship to You, asking that You would be at the center of it. If it is Your will for ### and this sister to be united in marriage, we pray that You would prepare their hearts, minds, and spirits to honor You in all things. Shape them into individuals who reflect Your love, grace, and truth.

Father, we ask that You would draw ### to Yourself. If he does not know You, reveal Your Son, Jesus Christ, to him, that he may be saved and walk in Your ways. If he is already Your child, deepen his faith and commitment to You. Mold him into a man who leads with integrity, loves with selflessness, and provides with wisdom. Guard his heart from distractions and idols, and let him see the value of a godly marriage.

Lord, we pray for this sister as well. Strengthen her faith and trust in You. Help her to surrender her desires and timelines to Your perfect plan. Protect her heart from impatience, anxiety, or compromise. Give her wisdom to discern Your will and the courage to walk in it, even if it differs from her own hopes.

Father, we ask that You would guide their steps toward purity and holiness. If marriage is Your plan for them, prepare them to enter that covenant with reverence and commitment. If it is not, grant them the grace to accept Your will and move forward in faith. Surround them with godly counsel and community, and let Your peace reign in their hearts.

We pray for the boys, that You would watch over them and prepare their hearts for a godly stepfather, if that is Your will. May they grow in love for You and experience the security of a home built on Your foundation.

Lord, we trust in Your timing and Your ways. May Your name be glorified in this relationship, and may Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and Scripture, allowing His Word to guide your steps. Remember, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). This promise is not a guarantee that God will fulfill every desire, but that as you delight in Him, He will align your heart with His will. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.

It’s clear how much you long for this relationship to grow into the family you’ve been hoping for. We’re sitting with that honest ache tonight, and we’re asking God with you to unfold his best, whatever shape that takes. You’ve laid it all out, the spark, the visit, the future you picture for your boys, and we trust that the Lord who knows your heart also knows exactly what you and your sons truly need.

One thing that can steady the soul while we wait is recognizing that a blended family, however God brings it together, carries real weight and unique challenges. Even when two people care deeply for each other, building a home where a man becomes a loving stepdad to boys who’ve already lived through so much takes time, patience, and more than a rush of romance. That’s not a reason to be afraid, it’s just an invitation to let God’s timing be your safety net. We’re glad you’re not forcing anything and instead holding this dream with open hands.

So we won’t pray for a hurried visit or a pressured declaration. But we will ask, together, for something better: clarity, peace, and the kind of love that builds a steady, gentle, lasting home.

Father, we lift up your daughter and her honest hopes for this relationship. You see , and you see her boys. If this is the path you have for them, we ask you to knit their hearts together in a way that is unmistakable, peaceful, and marked by your wisdom, not by anxiety or desperation. Give her the courage to keep trusting your pace, even when the waiting feels long. Protect her heart and her sons as you guide each next step. And above all, let your will be done, and let her know, deep down, that she is fully seen and held by you right now. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Grasp well this truth, as surely as God’s will is the axle of the universe, so in grace He is King, willing to do as He pleases. You have laid your desires before Him, yet let me ask: is the tenor of your prayer “I will” or “Thy will”? The ancient merchants said, “We will go, we will continue, we will buy, we will sell, we will get gain,” but they had not asked God’s consent. Beware of setting your heart upon a path and then sprinkling it with a thin layer of devotion. The unrenewed heart whispers, “Who is the Lord, that I should obey His voice?” But the child of God learns to say, “I wish in all things to be obedient to Your gracious will.”

You long for this man’s heart and mind to be stirred toward you, and you pray for him to become a provider, a loving husband, and a stepfather. Yet what can such a change be, if not the very work of God? “I will put My laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts.” Only the Spirit can take away the heart of stone and give a heart of flesh where holy principles dwell, controlling the whole man. No human wish can write the law of kindness, faithfulness, and self-sacrifice into another’s soul. That is the finger of God alone. If it is to be, it must spring from His own heart, for the reason for God’s mercy lies not in man, but in God’s own heart.

Yet I would have you search your own heart as well. Are you so fixed upon this earthly union that your peace rises and falls with the hope of it? Many have been cut to the heart by a disappointment, but only those pricked in the heart by God’s truth are brought to saving rest. You have need of that new heart, that Spirit-wrought delight in God’s Law, which makes His will your meat and drink. Then, whether this door opens or closes, you will stand upon a rock. What if this desire is delayed or denied? He has said, “I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and I will speak to her heart.” In that lonely school, He teaches us that His heart is constant and His love better than life.

Commit the matter into His hands with a loosened grip. It is consistent with all the experience of God’s people that blessing comes according to His will, not our wrestling. If He shall give you marriage, it will be in His time and way, and then you will say, “According to Your own heart, have You done all these great things.” If not, trust that He withholds no good thing from those who walk uprightly, and that the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be your portion forever.

You pour out many words before God, telling Him exactly how to touch a man’s heart, what spark to kindle, what words to put in his mouth. But have you truly left this matter to Him? If you are still holding the reins, anxiously scripting each scene, you act as a man, and then He will not much provide. Leave the whole affair alone. Say simply, “Whomsoever Thou wilt, do Thou provide,” and let your soul rest. He who is honored by such trust will requite you beyond what you can ask.

You seek a husband who is a provider, kind, a ready stepfather. But first seek a man who fears God, a true protector of souls. Money, country, romantic flash, these are superfluous, and they often make a wife a slave in gilded chains. Desire for your boys a man of gentleness, piety, and sound understanding, not merely one who stirs affection. A marriage driven by passion alone is a house built on sand; it cannot bear the weight of family and years. Pray rather that God grants you a suitor who will lead your household toward virtue, not one who merely satisfies a longing.

Do not forget the duties already in your hands. You have sons; their souls are your first husbandry. If you neglect them, dreaming of a distant man who will come and make all right, you place yourself below the infidel, who at least cares for his own flesh. Let your home become a little church, with prayers and hymns rising daily. Attend to their formation in godliness before you fix your hopes on a new marriage. Only then, as a secondary matter, will you be free to ask for a partner who will join you in that sacred work, not replace the work itself.

Neither suppose that marriage, however sanctified, is the summit of peace. Even when married, the Apostle bids us to live as though we had no spouse, using the world without clinging to it. True union is that of the soul with Christ, becoming one spirit. If God grants you an earthly husband, receive him with thanksgiving, but never let your heart’s rest depend upon it. The Lord Himself is your unfailing provider and spouse.

Quiet your anxious mind. Commit the unknown to God, and pour your energy into what is already given: your own repentance, your children’s nurture, a tongue bridled and chaste, a home marked by charity. Then, whatever becomes of this man, whether he comes or not, whether he speaks or remains silent, you will possess a peace no human romance can give or take away.

Thank you for sharing your prayer and the desires of your heart so openly. I can hear the longing for a future filled with love, companionship, and a united family, and it’s clear you want to place all of this into God’s hands. That desire to seek his will is good and right.

Yet there’s a quiet, dangerous shift that can happen when we pray these kinds of prayers. We can start by saying “your will be done,” but then quickly fill in the details of what we want that will to look like. Prayer was never meant to be a tool to get our own way. Jesus himself, in his darkest hour, prayed, “Not my will but yours be done.” The very purpose of prayer is to align our hearts with what God desires to do, not to convince him to do what we desire.

So let’s sit with that for a moment. You are asking for God to stir a specific romantic spark, for a declaration of love, for a visit, for marriage, and for a move across borders. Those are not wrong things to desire, but they are very detailed. And the truth is, none of us knows the specific will of God in a particular situation like this. We don’t always have clear, chapter-and-verse direction about whom we will marry or where we will live. And in that uncertainty, we can easily mistake our own deep longings for the voice of God. That’s why the Spirit steps in to help us, praying with us and for us even when we don’t have the words, groaning with us in ways we can’t understand.

What matters most is the posture of your heart. Are you holding out these dreams as a demand, or as a surrendered offering? If God says no, or wait, or something completely different, will your peace remain? That peace doesn’t come from getting the answer you want. It comes from being justified by faith and having peace with God through Jesus Christ. His love for you is not caused by you, and it does not change when your circumstances do. Nothing in all creation can separate you from that love once you are in Christ.

And that changes everything about how we wait. Instead of trying to control outcomes or read every sign as a guarantee, we can rest. We can stop striving after a particular person’s heart and mind, because you are not the one who changes a heart anyway. Only God does that. Your responsibility is to keep walking in patient, steady obedience, doing good, seeking his honor, and letting him shape your character. The law shows us we cannot earn anything from God. If we could, he would owe us. But he never owes us. Everything comes through grace, as a gift.

Think about Abraham. He had a promise from God that seemed impossible, a son when his body and his wife’s womb were dead. Yet he believed God’s word, not because he saw how it would work out, but because God spoke. His faith didn’t rest in the timeline or the method. It rested in the character of the One who promised. When commanded to sacrifice that very son, he trusted God could even raise him from the dead to keep his word. That’s the kind of settled trust you are invited into: not a nervous monitoring of another’s feelings, but a quiet confidence that your life is hidden in Christ and that your Father knows exactly what you need.

This also means letting go of the fear that if this doesn’t happen, you’ve somehow missed out. God’s provision is not limited to this one man or this one plan. And his definition of a “perfect fit” may look entirely different from what you can currently picture. He is working in you the ability to reign in life now, not after you get what you want, through the abundance of his grace. That grace enables you to walk in the Spirit right where you are, whether single or married, whether here or there. It lifts you out of the pit of anxiety and puts you on a higher ground, where your consciousness becomes more and more fixed on how you can please him rather than on how he can please you.

So guard your mind. Don’t let the enemy plant the thought that God’s promises are unreliable or that you must make this happen. His word is true regardless of how things look today. Instead, let this season become an opportunity to experience his faithfulness in a new way. Even in tribulation, and waiting can feel like that, we can actually glory, because it produces endurance, and endurance strengthens our hope. That hope is not a wish; it’s a solid anchor in the certainty of God’s kingdom coming and his will being done on earth as it is in heaven.

Therefore, I encourage you to shift the focus of your prayers. Rather than pleading for a specific outcome in this relationship, ask for a deeper experience of God’s love and grace filling you right now. Ask him to help you want his will more than you want any earthly dream. You have children watching; let them see a mother who rests in the Lord, not one who is tossed by the winds of another person’s decisions. Your value is already settled by the blood of Christ. You don’t need a declaration of love from a man to confirm it.

If God intends for this to grow into a marriage that honors him, he will do it in his time and in his way. Nothing can stop his hand. If not, his grace is still sufficient, and his plan is still good. Either way, you are safe in his love. Let that be your peace, and from that place of rest, continue to walk, to worship, and to serve the Lord. He will never fail you.
