Gods will and, ways for ### heart and mind 💔💔💔

Craurath

Servant of All
Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your goodness and for hearing my prayers. I praise you for opening this door and leading us to connect through our video call. Thank you for guiding our steps and bringing ### into my life.

Lord, I commit this new relationship into your hands. I ask that your will and your ways be done above all else. Please touch ###’s heart and mind. Stir a genuine romance and a deep spark within him toward me. If it is your will, let this relationship grow deep and serious, to the point where he openly and out loud declares his love for me. I pray that he sees the value in me, feels a true connection, and views me as a perfect fit for his life.

I pray that you shape him into a man with the heart of a provider—someone who is kind, loving, and ready to be a wonderful partner to me and a loving stepdad to my boys. I ask that you make a way for him to visit me soon.

Father, I lay my deepest desires before you: our future together, marriage, a petition to join him in America, and a united family with my boys as his stepsons. I trust these dreams to your perfect timing and your perfect plan. Guide our steps, protect our hearts, and let your peace lead us every day.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.

We hear your heart’s longing for God’s will to be done in your life and in this new relationship, and we join you in seeking His perfect plan. First, we want to affirm your trust in the Lord’s timing and His goodness, this is a beautiful place to begin. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that you continue to surrender your desires to Him, knowing that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).

However, we must also gently address some concerns in your request. While your prayer is filled with hope for a godly marriage and family, we notice that you are asking for a deep romantic connection with someone whose spiritual standing before the Lord is not mentioned. The Bible is clear that believers are not to be "unequally yoked" with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33), and it is vital that both spouses share a commitment to Christ. We urge you to seek the Lord’s wisdom in discerning whether this person is a fellow believer who loves Jesus and walks in His ways. If not, we must rebuke any path that could lead you away from God’s best for you.

Additionally, we want to encourage you to guard your heart (Proverbs 4:23) and avoid placing your hope in a relationship that may not yet be aligned with God’s will. Your desire for marriage and family is beautiful, but we must ensure that it is rooted in a pursuit of holiness and obedience to Scripture. If this relationship is not built on a foundation of shared faith in Jesus Christ, it cannot thrive in the way God intends. We pray that the Lord would either draw this person to Himself or lead you to a spouse who loves the Lord as deeply as you do.

We also want to address the importance of purity in relationships. The Bible calls us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and to honor God with our bodies (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5). If this relationship has involved or is leading toward physical intimacy outside of marriage, we must rebuke that path in Jesus’ name. God’s design for romance is within the bounds of marriage, and any deviation from that is sin. We encourage you to set boundaries that honor the Lord and to seek accountability in this area.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts open to Your will. We thank You for Your goodness and for the desires You have placed within us. Lord, we ask that You would reveal Your perfect plan for this relationship. If it is not aligned with Your Word, we ask that You would close the door and redirect hearts toward Your truth. Father, we pray for , that You would draw him to Yourself if he does not yet know You. Stir in his heart a hunger for Your Word and a desire to walk in Your ways. If it is Your will for him to be part of this family, we ask that You would shape him into a godly man, a provider, a leader, and a loving husband and stepfather.

Lord, we ask that You would protect ’s heart from idolatry or misplaced hope. Help her to trust in You alone and to seek Your kingdom first (Matthew 6:33). Give her wisdom and discernment as she navigates this relationship, and surround her with godly counsel. Father, we pray for purity in this relationship. If there has been any sin in this area, we ask for Your forgiveness and strength to walk in holiness. Help them both to honor You with their bodies and their hearts.

We pray for the boys, that You would prepare their hearts for a godly stepfather if that is Your plan. Lord, we ask that You would unite this family in Your love and purpose. Guide every step, and let Your peace reign in their hearts. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect plan. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Spend time in Scripture, asking God to speak to you about His will for your life and this relationship. Surround yourself with believers who can offer godly wisdom and accountability. Remember, the Lord delights in giving good gifts to His children (Matthew 7:11), and His plans for you are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will lead you into all truth.

We’re grateful you brought this here. There’s something vulnerable and brave about naming these desires out loud, the hope for romance, for a partner who sees you, for a family that feels whole and permanent. We hear how much that longing presses on your heart, and we don’t want to just skip past it.

One thing that’s easy to lose in the waiting is how formative this season is for you, not just for the outcome you’re praying toward. The desire for his heart and mind to turn toward you is real, but the deeper work God often does in these stretches is in clarifying what you truly need versus what you’re asking for, and in anchoring your security somewhere nothing can shake. That isn’t an evasion, it’s what lets you walk forward with clarity instead of anxiety, whether he visits soon or not, whether his feelings crystallize quickly or slowly.

A step that might help in the next week is to deliberately shift one part of your prayer time from presenting your hopes about him to simply being still and asking, “Lord, what do You want me to see right now?” Not forever, not a final answer, just something for today. That kind of pause can protect your heart from building an imagined future that the real man, with all his own uncertainties, can’t yet carry.

Jesus, we lift this relationship and this waiting to You, not asking You to force a love he doesn’t freely give, but asking for clear eyes and guarded hearts. Give her peace that doesn’t depend on his next text or call. Shape whatever is genuine between them, quiet what is only anxiety or loneliness, and make her boys feel held and secure while she figures all this out. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

What a tangle of desires you have laid out, and yet I see within them the common error of our fallen nature: an assumption that the Lord must bend His eternal purposes to the shape of your little dreams. You speak of romance, of a man's heart stirred toward you, of visits and marriage and a path to America, as though these were the proper objects of prayer. But where is your submission to His will? Where is your trembling before the God who declares, "I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy"? The axle of the universe is God's will, not the spark of a video call connection. You have set your heart upon a creature, yet you name it an answer to prayer. Beware, lest you mistake the desires of your own heart for the leading of the Holy Spirit.

The heart, unrenewed, is deceitful above all things. You ask God to shape this man into a provider and a partner, but have you yourself been shaped by the law written within? God's promise is to put His law in the mind and write it on the heart, so that we delight in it. Where is your delight in His law? Where is your trembling at His holiness? You speak of romance, but Scripture speaks of covenant, of one man and one woman bound for life before God. You mention your boys needing a stepfather, a grievous consequence, I suspect, of some prior departure from God's pattern. Are you now seeking to build a new union upon the same sand of human will? The Lord is not obliged to hallow what He has not ordained. If this man is not in a position to enter a holy, lifelong covenant under the clear light of Scripture, then your prayers for a spark and a declaration of love are but kindling for a fire that will consume you.

It is God's heart, constant and sovereign, that is the source of all true blessing, not your planning, not your petitions for a path to America. He acts for His own sake, not yours. And how does He bring His people low, into the wilderness, that He might speak to their heart! You would have everything now: the man, the marriage, the moved borders. But what if God sees fit to withhold? What if His will is to leave you in the place of loneliness, with no human arm to lean upon, that you might learn He alone is enough? You have laid your deepest desires at His feet, but they are still your desires, wrapped in dreams of a united family. Lay them there indeed, and then turn away from them. Ask instead for a heart that is pierced, truly pierced, with a sorrow for sin that leaves no room for romantic scheming.

You speak of God guiding your steps, yet I see a chart of your own making. The men of old said, "We will go, we will continue, we will buy, we will sell," and the Lord called their confidence vapor. You say, "if it is Your will," but your heart is already set upon a particular outcome. That is not submission; it is a bribe wrapped in piety. A heart indwelt by the Spirit does not spin such elaborate plans for earthly comfort and then ask God to bless them. It says, "I wish in all things to be obedient to Your gracious will," and leaves the details to the Master. Where is your fear, your sorrow, your trembling at His Word? The unrenewed heart says, "Why should I be tied and ruled?" It pursues what the eyes see and the flesh craves, calling it a door opened by God. But I would rather you were cut to the heart with holy grief than basking in warmth that may be no more than self-will set afire.

Turn your face from this scheming. Seek the heart of Christ, which was pierced for your transgressions. Only when that bleeding heart stanches your own wound will you know what it is to have His law written within, controlling the whole man without a nudge at the elbow. Until then, your prayers for a stepfather and a petition for America are but noise. God's people treasure not ready money but promises, promises of His presence, His holiness, His keeping. Are you His? Then seek that first. His heart is constant; He does not cast away His children. But He will bring you into the wilderness before He brings you into the land. Let your lonely place become a school, and let your desponding heart learn the catechism: Will the Lord cast off forever? Has He forgotten to be gracious? His promise may tarry, but it never fails. Lay hold of that, and let the rest go.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have laid your desires before God, and that is a good beginning. Yet examine what you seek. You plead for a spark of romance, for this man to see your worth and declare his love aloud. Is this the will of God, or the longing of a restless heart? God’s will is your sanctification, not the fulfilling of every earthly yearning. If the foundation is not Christ, how can the house stand? Therefore, first ask whether this man walks in the fear of the Lord. For a husband is given as a head to the body, a protector and a guide, not a mere source of comfort or provision. If he be not a lover of true piety, what safety is there for your soul or for the boys you would place in his care?

Marriage is a bond ordained of God, not to be entered lightly, but “in the Lord,” with chasteness and gravity. Do not let the hope of a new land or a united family blind you to the weight of this covenant. Even Abraham’s servant, sent to find a bride for Isaac, prayed first that God would lead him to the right house, not to wealth or beauty. So you likewise should beseech Christ to choose for you, and to grant you a husband of equal condition in the faith, modest, orderly, and reverent. Let virtue be his dowry.

Be not over-eager to arrange the future. If the door has opened, walk through it with fear and trembling, not with a pageant of romantic dreaming. Noise and outward display are the companions of vanity, but a silent heart crying to God moves Him more than all eloquence. Wait upon Him. If you are a widow, or have known the breaking of a former bond, remember the strictness required: not simply a second marriage, but a life devoted to prayer, good works, and hospitality, as Anna served in the temple. Use your moments not for nursing sentimental hopes, but for serving the saints and training your children in godliness.

Let your deepest desire be holiness, not a happy feeling. For marriage, used with moderation, may be honorable, but it is no shelter if entered for self-pleasing. Seek first the kingdom, and all else may be added or taken away as your Father sees best. In all things, commit the matter into His hands, and let not your heart be troubled.

You are pouring out your heart for this man and this future you envision. That kind of longing is powerful, and it is right to bring it before the Lord. Yet notice where your requests begin. You ask for God's will and ways for his heart and mind, and then you immediately ask for a spark of romance, for him to see you as a perfect fit, and for a way to be made for you to be together. There is a deeper question beneath all of this, one that must be settled first: what is God's will for your own heart right now?

The foundation of every relationship, every hope, every future, is your singular relationship with Jesus Christ. He does not want a half-hearted relationship with you. He said that if you are neither hot nor cold, He will spew you out of His mouth. He is not looking for a piece of your affection alongside other dreams. He calls you to love Him with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. That is the first and great commandment, and from it everything else must flow. When that relationship is right, your heart begins to want what He wants, and you find yourself asking not "Lord, grant me this" but "Lord, what pleases You?"

The caution I must raise gently but clearly is this: you have not mentioned whether this man shares your faith in Jesus Christ. You spoke of a father, a provider, a stepdad to your boys, but the Scripture asks, "What fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? What communion has light with darkness?" God's call to His people is to come out and be separate. To not be unequally yoked with an unbeliever. This is not a harsh burden but a loving protection. You cannot have real, deep, spiritual communion with someone who does not share the life of Christ in them. The temple of God has nothing in common with idols. If he is not a believer, no amount of romantic feeling can bridge that gap, and to pursue it is to walk directly against God's clear command. That path never leads to blessing. It leads to a narrow place, a pressure on your soul, because you are trying to join what God has declared must be separate.

Salvation is a life changing experience. It is not merely saying there is a God. It is believing into a vital relationship with Jesus Christ, where He becomes Lord of your life. It is God giving you a new heart, a heart that desires to please Him, and putting His Spirit within you so you can obey from the inside out. That is the work only He can do, and it begins when you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. Has that genuine transformation happened in this man's life? If it has not, your prayers for romance and marriage are building on sand.

Even if he professes faith, examine what you are asking for. You long for him to be shaped into a kind, loving partner. But God tells us that the great need is for the heart itself to be changed. The human heart, left to itself, is hard. Jesus acknowledged that because of the hardness of our hearts, things like divorce were permitted under Moses, though it was never God's ideal. Hard hearts destroy relationships. They turn sour and cut each other. God's ideal is a soft heart, one that has been circumcised inwardly by His Spirit. Only He can do that. You cannot stir or shape a genuine spiritual work in another person. You can only pray that God would do that work for His own glory, whether you are part of that man's story or not.

Lay your dreams down not as a petition to get what you want, but as an act of trust. Tell Him you want His will above having this man, above marriage, above a united family in a certain country. If you hold onto your plan tightly, you cannot also hold onto Him. But if you release it, you may find He gives you something far better, or He may, in time and in mercy, give you the very thing you asked for, now purified of idolatry. Consider David. His sin with Bathsheba brought terrible consequences, including the death of their child. Yet God in His mercy later gave them Solomon. That was not approval of the sin but a demonstration that God can bring restoration out of even our worst failures when we repent. How much more so when you seek to walk uprightly from the start?

Right now, the invitation is to come into a loving relationship with your Lord that is deeper than any romantic dream. Let His love for you spark a responsive love in your heart. We love Him because He first loved us. When you are satisfied in Him, you are freed from the frantic pressure of trying to control outcomes and move another person's heart. You can simply pray, "Lord, circumcise my heart and his heart. Do Your inward work. If he is to be part of my life, make it plain. If not, give me the grace to let go. But above all, be my God, and let me be fully Yours."

Bringing your boys into this requires wisdom. A stepdad is a profound influence. You need not just a man who is willing, but a man whom God has prepared, a man after God's own heart who will feed them with knowledge and understanding. Do not settle for less because of loneliness or the appeal of a fresh start in a new place. Wait for the kind of union that can be a true picture of Christ and His church. That is worth any cost and any wait.

God is not far from you. His word is even in your mouth and in your heart. Call on Him. Confess your trust in Christ alone. He will wash away your sins, give you a new heart, and lead you in paths of righteousness. Entrust this relationship, your future, and your family to His perfect plan. His desire is for your ultimate good and His glory. Rest in that.

We are so grateful that you entrusted us with your heartfelt prayer request, laying your deepest desires before our Heavenly Father. It has been our privilege to stand in agreement with you, lifting up this new relationship and asking God to guide both of your steps according to His perfect will. We have prayed fervently that His hand would rest upon this connection, softening hearts, stirring genuine affection, and aligning your paths in a way that brings Him glory.

If the Lord has already moved in answer to your prayer—whether through a growing spark, a deepening commitment, or even a declaration of love—we rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we may celebrate His faithfulness together. If, however, you are still waiting and seeking clarity, we want to continue interceding with you. We believe in a God who opens doors, shapes hearts, and orchestrates love stories that reflect His goodness. Let us press on in prayer, trusting that He is working even when we cannot yet see it.

We ask the Lord to continue molding this man into the provider, partner, and stepfather your family needs—one who is kind, loving, and ready to embrace the future God has prepared. May He make a way for you to be united soon, whether through a visit, a deeper bond, or the fulfillment of your shared dreams. Above all, we pray that His peace and wisdom would lead you both every step of the way.

Keep seeking Him with faith, knowing that He hears your prayers and delights in your trust. We stand with you, believing that His timing is perfect and His plans for you are good.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
