Gods will and guidance

I am asking for gods will and guidance in my life. I am asking for his will to be done in my life. I am believing that god will help me financially by leading me in his way . I have struggled for a while now but I feel that god is teaching me something with this struggle. I am asking for you all to keep my family in your prayers . We seem to all be struggling and help us to learn what I causing the struggle and help us to ask for forgiveness for what ever we are reaping .
I know it could be generations back . Please forgive all of us !

We join with you in seeking God's will and guidance for your life and for your family, and we thank you for humbly asking that His will be done. That desire itself honors Him, for we are taught to trust in Yahweh with all our heart, and not lean on our own understanding, in all our ways acknowledge him, and he will make our paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. We also take comfort in knowing that He has plans for us, plans for peace and not for evil, to give us hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11.

We hear your financial struggle and your sense that God is teaching you through it. That is a biblical understanding, for we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28. Trials can refine us and teach us dependence on Him, and if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We encourage you to continue to seek Him first, for Jesus taught us to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33, and our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19.

You mentioned feeling that you may be reaping what has been sown, perhaps even from generations back, and you ask for forgiveness for your family. Scripture tells us that whatever a man sows, that he will also reap Galatians 6:7, so it is wise to examine our own hearts and ways. At the same time we want to gently encourage you with truth, for the soul who sins, he shall die, the son shall not bear the iniquity of the father Ezekiel 18:20. We are not condemned by God for the sins of our ancestors, but we can fall into the same patterns of sin and unbelief that have been passed down. The good news is that when we confess our own sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. In Christ the curse is broken and we are made new.

We noticed that your request spoke of God but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by placing our faith in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that our prayers are heard and our forgiveness is secured.

So we pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this dear one and their entire family to You. We ask that Your will be done in their lives, that You would make Your guidance clear and lead them in Your way. Grant them wisdom and discernment for every financial decision, open doors of provision according to Your riches, and teach them to be good stewards of what You provide. Lord, reveal to them anything in their lives that needs confession and repentance, forgive them and cleanse them, and break any ungodly patterns that have affected their family. Help them to learn what You are teaching through this season of struggle, to grow in faith, patience and trust, and to know Your peace that passes understanding. Draw each family member closer to You and to one another, and help them to walk in obedience and hope. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, our Savior and our only hope, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily in prayer and in His Word, to be faithful in the small things, to work diligently as unto the Lord, and to trust that He sees your struggle and will lead you step by step. He is faithful and He will not forsake you.

If finances are the sharpest pressure, it can also help to sit down with a trusted pastor or a financial counselor in your church or community who can look at budgeting and resources with you. You don't have to figure this out alone, and we encourage that kind of personal support alongside prayer.

Your longing that the will of God should be done in your life is itself an evidence that He is at work in you, for it is God who teaches His people from their youth and continues to be their teacher through trial as well as through comfort. You have asked for guidance and for daily bread, and you feel rightly that the Lord may be teaching you something in this season of straitness. He was David's teacher through chastening, and He never cast His pupil away, and while His promise may tarry it never fails.

Hear what the Word of God says concerning the forgiveness for which you and your family ask, for there is forgiveness with Him that He may be feared. It is a divine forgiveness, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions. Were all men to hiss at you and refuse you pardon, yet if God forgives you it is enough to enter heaven, for His is the only forgiveness that is necessary. It is a surprising forgiveness, so surprising that the Lord repeats, I, even I, as though He would have doubting hearts to be assured. It is a complete forgiveness. Suppose you call upon your creditor and say, I have nothing to pay with, so the Lord takes the handwriting that was against you and nails it to the cross. It is an eternal forgiveness, without repentance, for the gifts and calling of God are without change, and he who is once forgiven in Christ is forgiven to all eternity. And it is to be had now, in a moment, for behold, now is the accepted time. Believe right now in Jesus Christ, God's Son, and you have forgiveness now.

You speak of reaping what has been sown, and of sins generations back, and you ask that all may be forgiven. Know this, that God's Word says there is forgiveness with Him through the propitiation which is in Christ Jesus, the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God. The soul that sins shall answer for its own sin, yet the blood of Jesus Christ, God's dear Son, cleanses us from all sin, be it your own or the sinful nature inherited from our first parents. You need not fear some distant curse that Christ cannot reach. If you have been the chief of sinners, you may have the chief of sinner's forgiveness, and God can bestow it now. Come not with a vague hope that forgiveness may be found somewhere, but fly to the very place where the offense went, for where the offense went from that very place the forgiveness comes, with God Himself, through His Son alone. There is no other name by which you must be saved.

Then do as the penitent is bidden to do, believe in the forgiveness of sins for yourself. Say with the publican, God be merciful to me a sinner, and trust not in your sorrow nor in your prayers, but in Christ who bore your sins. And as you have received so full and free a forgiveness, forgive one another, for it is a joint stock business of mutual forgiveness among the people of God.

For your guidance and your daily needs, seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, walking in honest labor and prayer, doing good unto all men for Christ's sake, and resting in Him, for thus when His people rest most they work best and bear fruit unto God. Ask Him to show you what He would have you learn, to search your heart by His Word and His Spirit, and to lead you in His way, and He who has taught you will also declare His wondrous works through you.

We will pray for you and for your household, that the Lord would make His will plain to you, supply what you need according to His wisdom, keep you from despondency, and give to each of you a firm faith in that one great truth, There is forgiveness with Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom be glory forever.
