Hello,
Today I had an audition for AMTC - Actors, Models, and Talent for Christ. They have been changing the entertainment industry for 28 years in God's name. The Lord has had this modeling and acting thing on my mind for years now, since sophomore year of high school and I'm 21 now. Before I knew about the audition, I had been thinking a lot about modeling and stuff and then the Lord had my photography student friend Meghan get in contact with me on -banned site- about a week ago. She invited me to her house to take pics of me and I thought that was kinda weird because we hadn't talked in months and here she is wanting to photograph me. I thought it had to be a sign from God. Where else would I get professional quality pictures with no money or way of getting to a photographer? It was God, I know it. So I went to her house, we walked around Des Plaines and took pics and she photographed me in her back yard. We got some really great pictures. I have been praying and listening to the Lord and watching for His signs and really paying attention to what He wants to tell me. The audition went pretty well, but I won't know until tomorrow afternoon (Sunday, August 15). AMTC encouraged us to pray about this and ask God if it's in His will.
I'm a full-time college student going to school completely on financial aid, unemployed, with litterally less than $40 to my name. My mom has two part-time jobs and we are struggling. If I got into AMTC God would use them to open doors. I could pay for my mom and I to live and still be in school getting my degree in Graphic Design because I want to use God's gift of art to open up my own print shop/clothing store. I don't exactly know how that's going to work together, but the Lord keeps revealing his plan to me everyday.
Please pray for me that this is what God wants.
