Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with hearts that are open, vulnerable, and deeply trusting in Your divine plan. Lord, You know the trials, the grief, and the brokenness that both I and my ### have walked through. You have seen every tear shed over the loss of our late spouses. We thank You that You are a God who restores, heals, and makes all things beautiful in Your time.

We pray for divine confirmation and alignment. Lord, I lift up my relationship to You. I pray that ### is truly the man sent from God for me and my boys. Let Your Holy Spirit guide our steps, aligning our hearts, our values, and our visions for the future. If this relationship is born of Your will, we ask that You knit our hearts together in pure, godly love, patience, and understanding.

We pray for healing within our new beginning. As we both step out of past heartaches, we ask for Your grace to cover our brokenness. Be the center of our relationship. Help us to extend grace to one another, to communicate with kindness, and to build a foundation rooted firmly in Your Word.

We pray for Your holy provision and future. Lord, I entrust our dreams into Your hands. If it is Your will to bring us to America, we pray that You open those doors wide and make the path straight. We ask for Your miraculous provision to handle every detail—financial, legal, and relational. We pray that this move brings a better life, safety, and a bright future for my boys, filled with opportunities to grow and serve You.

We surrender our timelines, our anxieties, and our hopes to You, knowing that Your plans are always to prosper us and not to harm us, to give us hope and a future.

In Jesus' mighty and loving name, we pray.

We hear your heartfelt cry to the Lord, and we join you in seeking His divine will for your life and the future He has prepared for you and your sons. Your prayer reflects a deep trust in God’s sovereignty, and we stand with you in asking for His guidance, provision, and healing as you navigate this season of new beginnings.

First, we want to affirm the importance of seeking God’s will in all things, especially in relationships. The foundation of any godly union must be Christ-centered, rooted in His Word, and aligned with His purposes. Scripture reminds us, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this man you are considering is truly sent by God, we pray that his faith in Jesus Christ is unwavering and that his life reflects the fruit of the Spirit. Courtship should always have the goal of marriage, and marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to reflect the relationship between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We encourage you to seek wisdom and discernment, testing the relationship against God’s Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Your desire for healing from past grief and brokenness is understandable, and we lift this before the Lord. Jesus came to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free (Isaiah 61:1). We pray that He would heal the wounds of loss and restore your hearts, filling you with His peace and joy. As you build a new foundation together, may it be firmly rooted in His love, grace, and truth. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). Let His Word be the guide for your communication, your decisions, and your future together.

Your prayer for provision and a future in America is also close to our hearts. We know that God is able to open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and we join you in asking Him to make a way where there seems to be no way. Whether He chooses to move you to America or another place, we trust that His plans for you and your sons are good. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6). We pray for miraculous provision, financially, legally, and relationally, so that you may walk in the fullness of His promises.

However, we must gently address a concern in your prayer. While we appreciate your heart for surrender and trust, it is essential to remember that our access to God and our salvation come only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If your relationship or your hopes for the future are not firmly anchored in Christ, they will not stand. We encourage you to ensure that both you and this man are committed to following Jesus wholeheartedly, for only then can your union be blessed and fruitful.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and expectation. We lift up this sister and her sons to You, asking that You would guide her steps and direct her path. Lord, we pray for clarity and confirmation in her relationship. If this man is the one You have chosen for her, we ask that You knit their hearts together in love, patience, and godly devotion. Let their union be a reflection of Your love for the Church, built on a foundation of faith, trust, and mutual respect.

Father, we ask for Your healing touch to mend the brokenness of past grief and loss. Pour out Your grace upon her and her sons, filling them with Your peace and joy. Help them to extend grace to one another, to communicate with kindness, and to build a future that honors You in all things.

Lord, we also pray for Your provision. If it is Your will for them to move to America, we ask that You open the doors and make the path straight. Provide for every need, financially, legally, and relationally, so that they may walk in the fullness of Your promises. Let this season be one of hope, safety, and opportunity for her sons to grow in You and serve You with their lives.

Above all, Father, we pray that You would be the center of their lives and their relationship. May they seek You first in all things, trusting that Your plans for them are good. We rebuke any fear, doubt, or uncertainty, and we declare that Your peace will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we are saved. Amen.

What a beautiful and heartfelt prayer you lifted up. We can feel the depth of your trust in God as you surrender this season to Him, especially after walking through such deep loss. We know how hard it must be to step forward with hope while still carrying the weight of grief, but it’s so clear that you’re placing your future, both for yourself and your boys, in His hands.

We’re praying that God would meet you in this place of waiting and give you peace like you’ve never known before. If this relationship is part of His plan, we trust He’ll confirm it in ways that leave no doubt in your heart. And if it’s not, we ask for wisdom to see that clearly too.

Lord, we ask for Your supernatural healing over every broken place in their lives. Bind up their hearts with Your love and fill them with the courage to trust You completely. Whether near or far, we pray they would walk in the fullness of Your promises.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
