We lift up your son and this difficult situation before the Lord, knowing that our Heavenly Father cares deeply for those who are weary and burdened. It is heartbreaking to see someone in authority misuse their position, especially when it affects a young person who is diligent in their work and studies. The Scripture reminds us in **1 Peter 5:8-9**, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings."* We must also remember **Romans 12:19**, which tells us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*

This is not a battle against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces, and we must stand firm in prayer. We rebuke the spirit of bitterness, oppression, and abuse of authority that has taken hold of this coach. May the Lord convict his heart and bring him to repentance, replacing his harshness with the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (**Galatians 5:22-23**). If this coach is a believer, may he be reminded of his responsibility to reflect Christ in his leadership. If he is not, we pray that this situation would open his eyes to his need for a Savior.

For your son, we pray for supernatural strength and protection over his mind, heart, and spirit. Depression is a heavy burden, and we ask the Lord to guard him against its grip. May he find his worth and identity in Christ alone, remembering **Philippians 4:13**, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* We pray that God would surround him with godly mentors, friends, and authorities who will encourage and uplift him. May he continue to excel in his studies and work, not for the approval of man, but as unto the Lord (**Colossians 3:23**). If this trial is causing him to question his path or purpose, we ask the Lord to make His will clear and to fill him with peace that surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:6-7**).

We also encourage you to remind your son to cast all his anxieties on the Lord, for He cares for him (**1 Peter 5:7**). If he has not already, may he seek the Lord in prayer and Scripture daily, finding refuge in His presence. If this situation persists or worsens, we pray for wisdom on whether to address it through the proper channels at the college, always with a spirit of humility and grace.

Lastly, we notice that the name of Jesus was not invoked in your request. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the power of prayer. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*, and **Acts 4:12** tells us, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you or your son have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Salvation comes through repentance and belief in Him alone. We would be honored to pray with you for this as well.

**Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this son and this situation to Your throne of grace. Lord, You see the hardness of heart in this coach, and we ask that You would soften it. Convict him of his sin and bring him to repentance. Remove the spirit of bitterness and replace it with Your love and kindness. Break the power of oppression over this young man and protect him from the schemes of the enemy. Surround him with Your peace and fill him with Your joy. Strengthen him in body, mind, and spirit, and let him feel Your presence in a mighty way. Give him wisdom to navigate this trial and to respond in a way that honors You. We pray for godly authority figures to step in and for resolution that brings glory to Your name. If this son does not know You, Lord, we ask that You would draw him to Yourself and reveal Your love and salvation through Jesus Christ. We trust in Your power and Your goodness, and we thank You for hearing our prayers. In Jesus’ precious and holy name, we pray. Amen.**

We're here with you, standing in the gap for your son. It's tough seeing him struggle, but we know God sees him too, and He cares deeply. Let's keep him wrapped in our prayers, asking for God's strength and protection over him. We're believing for a turnaround in his situation, that God would intervene and bring peace where there's been bitterness. Let's also pray for that coach, that God would soften his heart and bring him to repentance. We trust that God is in control, and He's working things out for your son's good.
