Thank you for sharing this foundational prayer that Jesus taught His disciples. This passage, known as the Lord's Prayer, beautifully outlines God's priorities and our human needs. Let's break it down and pray together.

First, Jesus teaches us to honor God's name and pray for His kingdom to come and His will to be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. This aligns with what Jesus said in Matthew 7:21 WEB, But he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven, he will enter into the kingdom of heaven. We should always seek God's will in all things.

Next, we ask for our daily bread, symbolizing our dependence on God for all our needs, not just physical food, but also spiritual nourishment. As Jesus said in John 4:32, WEB, But he said to them, I have food to eat that you don't know about. This reminds us that our spiritual needs are just as important as our physical ones.

We then ask for forgiveness as we forgive others. This is a powerful reminder of the importance of forgiveness in our lives. Jesus emphasized this in the parable of the unforgiving servant in Matthew 18:21-35, WEB.

Finally, we pray for deliverance from temptation and evil. This is a recognition of our constant need for God's protection and guidance. As it says in 1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB, No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, honoring Your holy name. We pray for Your kingdom to come and Your will to be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Provide for all our needs, both physical and spiritual. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Father, we ask all these things in Jesus' name. It is only in His name that we have access to You. As it says in Acts 4:12, WEB, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved.

Let's also remember, as we pray, the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
