We join with you in seeking the Father's perfect will and we praise God that you have come before Him in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only through His name that we are saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6

Your cry for understanding, clarity, truth, guidance and revelation is precious to God and He delights to give wisdom to those who ask. We are encouraged by your desire for His will to be done above all else, for that is the posture of a heart that truly wants to follow Him.

The Lord promises that He has a plan for you and that He will guide you by His Spirit. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jer 29:11. And He promises to lead us when we surrender our own understanding. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Prov 3:5-6

We also take comfort that the Holy Spirit Himself is given to lead us into truth as you have asked. However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself, but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming. John 16:13. If you lack wisdom, you are doing exactly what Scripture tells you to do by asking. But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily in His Word, for His Word is truth and it is the lamp that lights our path, and to wait quietly in prayer listening for His still small voice. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. Rom 12:2. He promises, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Psalm 32:8

We pray together for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this dear one who is hungering for Your truth and Your plan. We ask that You touch this heart by Your Holy Spirit and pour out clarity, understanding and revelation. Remove all confusion and let Your truth shine brightly. Speak clearly and guide every step, that Your perfect will would be done in this life as it is in heaven. Give peace that surpasses understanding while waiting for Your answers, and give faith to trust that You are working all things together for good. Draw this heart ever closer to Jesus and let Your Word be the foundation for every decision. We ask this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Thank you for bringing this before God so openly. Wanting His will above your own is a good place to be, even when it feels unclear.

We hear how much you want truth you can trust in your heart, not just ideas in your head. That desire for the Holy Spirit to make things clear is something we want to join you in praying for.

One simple step that often helps when everything feels like a question mark is to get quiet and get specific on paper. Try writing down in a few sentences what decision or direction you are asking about, what options you see, and what you sense God may already be showing you through His Word, through wise counsel, and through the peace or check in your spirit. Then bring that page back to the Lord over several days, not just once, and ask a mature believer you trust to pray through it with you. Clarity often comes gradually as we stay close to Him and stay open to His correction.

We are praying for you now.

Father, thank You for this heart that wants Your will. Touch them with Your truth, quiet the noise around them, and lead them step by step by Your Holy Spirit. Give them clear eyes to see what is from You and courage to follow it. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your longing for clarity and truth and guidance is itself a hopeful sign of the Spirit's gracious working within you, for the desire to know and to do the will of God does not spring from nature but from grace. You have prayed well in saying, Your will be done Father, in Jesus name, for that is the prayer which puts the soul into its right posture before the Lord.

Know this, that the will of God is the axle of the universe and the great heart of providence sending its pulsings through even the most distant limbs of human act. All things are under regulation and have an appointed place in His plan, and nothing happens but what He permits or ordains. Therefore you may rest, not in your own power to unravel the future, but in His faithful government which never fails. As surely as His will is King in providence, so in grace we rest assured that He is King, having mercy on whom He will have mercy, and that the preservation and perseverance and eternal glory of His people rests upon His will.

There is a revealed will of God which we must not violate, and it is found in the inspired Word from the first word of Genesis to the last line of Revelation. It will never mislead you. If you would have truth and revelation, go to that Book, believe it, and search it with prayer. The work of the Spirit, which is the effect of the will of God, is to change the human will and so make men willing in the day of His power, working in them to will and to do of His good pleasure. Ask Him not only to show you what is true, but to make you willing to love the truth and to walk in it. Whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely, and that whosoever becomes yours when the Spirit makes you willing to come to Christ.

There is also a providential will of God which we should always consult with holy prudence. With this guidance which comes from the circumstances that surround us, believers become familiar as they watch the hand of the Lord. Be not as those who say, We will go, we will continue, we will buy and sell and get gain, as if we could both propose and dispose without asking God's consent. It is foolish to feel that we can do as we like and that everything will fall out as we desire. Rather let your heart say in all things, I will go or I will stay, I will do this or refrain, if it be the will of God. You need not always say with the lips, If the Lord will, yet you will always feel it in the heart, and you will not even wish for any gain or plan unless you can promote the will of God by it.

So I pray for you now, that the Holy Spirit would touch your heart with truth, take the veil from your eyes, and give you a clear sight of His revealed will in Scripture. May He make you willing where you have been wavering, steady you upon promises which may tarry but never fail, and order your steps by His providence. May He keep you from the current of human opinion which always bears the wrong way, and keep you unspotted while you seek to do His will with a willing mind.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you, to teach you, to keep you, and to guide you into all truth till faith becomes sight.
