God’s plan

Beloved of All
Need a good understanding, clarity, truth, guidance, revelation❤️‍🩹 Holy Spirit, Touch my heart with the truth in Jesus name Your will be done Father! In Jesus name

We join you in seeking the Father's will and we thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and confidence that our prayers are heard. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. We rejoice that you have prayed in His name and submitted your heart to the will of the Father.

Your desire for understanding, clarity, truth, guidance and revelation is pleasing to God, for He longs to lead His children. He does not leave us to wander in confusion but promises to guide us by His Spirit and His Word. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. His plan for you is good and full of hope, even when the path ahead is not yet clear to you.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him with a whole heart, trusting not in your own understanding but in His faithfulness. Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. And James 1:5 promises But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. God delights to give wisdom when we ask in faith.

The Holy Spirit is indeed the one who brings truth to our hearts. John 16:13 says However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming. As you abide in the Word, the Spirit will illuminate it and make the Father's will known. Psalm 119:105 says Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path. And Psalm 32:8 says I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Do not be conformed to the pressures and confusion of this world, but be transformed as Romans 12:2 teaches, Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. As your mind is renewed daily through Scripture, prayer and obedience, His will becomes clearer.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we lift up this seeking heart to You. We ask that You touch this heart with Your truth by Your Holy Spirit. Remove all confusion, fear and doubt, and grant deep clarity and understanding according to Your perfect will. Reveal Your plan step by step, and give the grace to walk in obedience to what You have already shown in Your Word. Grant wisdom liberally, open eyes to see Your way, and open ears to hear Your voice saying this is the way, walk in it. Let Your will be done in this life as it is in heaven, and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask that You draw this dear one closer to Jesus each day, that Your truth would not only be known in the mind but believed and treasured in the heart. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to remain faithful in prayer, in reading the Word daily, and in quiet waiting before the Lord, for He often speaks in a still small voice as we linger with Him. He will be faithful to guide you and His timing is perfect.

We hear the hunger in your prayer for clarity and truth, and for the Holy Spirit to make God's will unmistakable in your heart. We are joining you in asking Him for that.

Wanting to know God's plan can feel heavy, as if you might miss a single hidden answer. What has steadied many of us is remembering that God guides us more as a Father walking with us than as a puzzle to solve. He shapes our understanding over time through His Word, through honest prayer, through the counsel of wise people who know us, and through the ordinary duties and openings He puts before us. Often clarity comes gradually as we keep seeking Him faithfully, not all at once.

One simple next step that may help this week is to narrow your focus to the one or two decisions actually in front of you right now. Bring each to the Lord daily in unhurried prayer with that same surrender, Your will be done, spend a little time listening in Scripture without rushing to find an answer, and invite one mature believer who knows your life to listen and reflect with you. Jotting down what brings lasting peace and what aligns with love, wisdom and responsibility can help you notice how He is leading.

Father, we lift this heart to You that longs for Your truth. Touch it by Your Holy Spirit, quiet the confusion, and give understanding and revelation in Your timing. Make Your will clear step by step and give courage and peace to follow it. In Jesus name, amen.

Your longing for understanding and clarity and truth is itself a good sign, for it shows a heart that desires to be conformed to the will of God rather than to its own. It is a wise prayer you have prayed, Your will be done Father, and it is one that the Lord delights to answer.

Know this, that as surely as God's will is the axle of the universe, and as certainly as it is the great heart of providence sending its pulse through even the most distant limbs of human life, so in grace He is King, willing to do as He pleases, having mercy on whom He will have mercy. Nothing happens but what He permits or ordains, and all things are under regulation and have an appointed place in His plan. To seek His plan therefore is not to seek a hidden mystery for curiosity, but to seek the good and wise purpose of a faithful Father.

There are two ways in which that will is to be sought. First, there is His revealed will which we must not violate, and that will is plainly set before us in the Inspired Word of God. Believe this Bible from the first word of Genesis to the last line of Revelation, for it will never mislead you. It has never misled anyone who has trusted it. If you would have guidance and revelation, give yourself to that Word daily, for there the Holy Spirit speaks most clearly. Second, there is His providential will which we should always consult, and that guidance comes through the circumstances that surround us and the doors He opens and closes. The wise course is to say with a true heart, I will go or I will stay, if it is the will of God, and not to say we will do this or that as though we could both propose and dispose without asking His consent.

Remember also that salvation and all true willingness toward God is of His will. The work of the Spirit, which is the effect of the will of God, is to change the human will and so make men willing in the day of His power, working in them to will and to do of His good pleasure. Therefore pray not only for light to your mind, but for a changed and softened will, that you may love what He loves and choose what He chooses. The promise still stands, Whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely, and whosoever comes in true faith shall find that his coming was itself wrought by grace.

So continue to ask, and ask largely. Tell the Lord plainly what you desire, for He says, What do you want Me to do for you, and He would have you tell Him. Yet pray with submission, always feeling if the Lord wills, even when you do not say it with words. Seek honest gain and right paths only as you can promote the will of God by them, and your best profit will be found in doing His will.

May the Lord grant you a quiet and confident heart as you wait upon Him. May He touch your heart with truth by His Spirit, make His Word sweet and clear to you, and keep you walking uprightly, for no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you, to guide and to keep you till He brings you to that place where His will shall be your perfect joy.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
