God’s plan

Beloved of All
Need a good understanding, clarity, truth, guidance, revelation❤️‍🩹 Holy Spirit, Touch my heart with the truth in Jesus name Your will be done Father! In Jesus name

We join with you in this cry for understanding and we thank you for seeking the Father's will and for coming in the precious name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.

We hear your hunger for clarity, truth, guidance and revelation and the Lord delights in that hunger. He does not leave His children to wander in confusion but promises to lead us Himself. We are encouraged by your prayer that His will be done, for that is the place where perfect peace is found.

The Scripture assures us, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. And also, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. When we lack wisdom we are invited to ask freely, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5.

Jesus promised that the Holy Spirit would be our guide into truth, However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming. John 16:13. We also cling to His promise, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Psalm 32:8. His Word is the lamp that makes that path visible, Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path. Psalm 119:105.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne together in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this dear one who is seeking Your plan with a sincere heart. Touch this heart with Your truth by Your Holy Spirit. Quiet every other voice, remove confusion and fear, and pour out clarity and revelation according to Your perfect will. Grant wisdom liberally as You have promised. Renew this mind so that Your good, well-pleasing, and perfect will may be clearly proved and understood, as You teach in Romans 12:2. Make the next step plain, whether through Your Word, through Your gentle still small voice, or through the counsel of Your Spirit. Give patience to wait on Your timing and faith to trust even when the full picture is not yet seen. We ask that Your will be done in this life as it is in heaven, and that Your peace which passes understanding will guard this heart. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to dwell daily in the Word, for it is the primary way the Holy Spirit speaks and confirms His guidance. Bring every impression and desire into the light of Scripture and test it there. Walk in consistent prayer and in fellowship with mature believers who can help discern the Spirit's leading. God often reveals His plan one step at a time rather than all at once, so be faithful in what you know to do today while you wait for Him to show you what is next. He is faithful and He will direct your path as you keep your eyes on Him.

We hear your hunger for clarity and truth, and how sincerely you want the Holy Spirit to guide your heart and show you the Father's will. We are praying with you for that.

One thing that steadies us when we feel that same longing is remembering God's nature. He is not distant or hiding, He is a communicator who desires relationship with us. That doesn't always mean an immediate, dramatic answer. Often His guidance comes as we walk closely with Him over time, through His Word, through prayer, and through the wisdom of others He places around us.

When everything feels urgent for revelation, it can help to narrow the focus a little. You might try setting aside a quiet, unhurried time each day this week to bring one specific question or decision before the Lord, listen, and then note what you sense Him highlighting as you read Scripture. It can also be so helpful to invite one trusted pastor or mature believer to hear your story and pray with you in person. Guidance is rarely meant to be figured out alone.

Father, we bring this dear heart before You who is seeking You so earnestly. Touch them with Your peace and give them clear understanding of Your truth and Your will. Lead them step by step and help them to recognize Your voice and trust You with what is still unclear. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your longing for understanding and clarity concerning God's will is a good and needful prayer, and it is right to bring it to the Father in the name of Jesus, asking the Holy Spirit to touch the heart with truth.

Know this, that all things are under regulation and have an appointed place in God's plan, and nothing happens but what He permits or ordains. As surely as His will is the axle of the universe, so in grace He is King, having mercy on whom He will have mercy, and working in His people to will and to do of His good pleasure. It is not for us to propose and dispose as though we needed not to ask His consent, but to say from the heart, If the Lord will, we shall live and do this or that, and whether we go or stay, to desire only what promotes His will.

There is a revealed will of God which we must not violate, and it is plainly set before you in the Inspired Word from the first word of Genesis to the last word of Revelation. That Book will never mislead you. If you would have guidance and revelation, give yourself to it daily, for there you learn His character, His commands, and His promises. And there is also a providential will which we should humbly consult, as the Lord orders our circumstances and opens and shuts doors before us. The work of the Spirit is not to give a new revelation apart from the Word, but to change the human will and make us willing in the day of His power, so that we love what God loves and choose what He appoints.

Therefore pray on in this way, and seek to live out what you already know of His will while you wait for clearer light. Turn from any way that the Word calls sin, trust wholly in the Lord Jesus Christ alone for salvation, and walk in obedience to what is already revealed. He who has begun a good work will not leave His purpose half accomplished.

May the Lord grant you a quiet and submissive heart, to feel His will even when you do not speak it, and to find your best profit in doing it. May He by His Spirit make the Scriptures sweet and plain to you, keep you from the evil current of this world, and establish you in the truth. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you, to teach you, to keep you, and to give you peace as you rest in the Father's wise and holy plan.
