Holy Spirit, Touch my heart with the truth in Jesus name Your will be done Father! In Jesus name
We join with you in seeking the Father's will and we rejoice to hear you calling upon the name of Jesus and inviting the Holy Spirit to reveal truth to your heart, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and confidence that He hears us.
We understand your deep desire for clarity and revelation concerning God's plan for your life. This hunger for truth and guidance is pleasing to God. He does not leave His children to wander in confusion but promises to lead us as we seek Him with our whole heart.
The Scripture assures us of His faithful guidance. Jeremiah 29:11 says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. And Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. When we lack wisdom, we are told to simply ask. James 1:5 says, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.
Jesus Himself promised that the Holy Spirit would be our guide into truth. John 16:13 says, However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth. That is the very work you are asking for, and we trust He will do it. Psalm 32:8 gives us this beautiful promise from the Lord, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you.
We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily in His Word, for His Word is a lamp to our feet, and in quiet prayer, waiting patiently for His still small voice. Do not be discouraged if the answer does not come all at once. God often reveals His will step by step as we walk in obedience to what we already know to be true. Be transformed by the renewing of your mind as Romans 12:2 teaches, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.

We thank You that You are a God who reveals Yourself and who desires to give wisdom generously. We ask that You pour out Your Holy Spirit upon this dear one in fresh measure. Touch the heart with Your truth, remove all confusion and doubt, and grant clear understanding and revelation of Your perfect plan. Give a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, that the eyes of the heart may be enlightened to know Your will. Help us to trust You fully and not lean on our own understanding, and make the path straight before us. We surrender all to Your will, asking that Your will be done in this life as it is in heaven. Give peace while waiting and courage to obey whatever You reveal. We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

It is a good and needful prayer you have breathed, that the Holy Spirit would touch your heart with truth and that the Father's will might be done. This desire itself is no small mercy, for the work of the Spirit, which is the effect of the will of God, is to change the human will, and so make men willing in the day of God's power, working in them to will and to do of his good pleasure.
You ask for a true understanding of God's plan, for clarity and revelation. Hear then where that clarity is to be found. There is a revealed will of God which we must not violate, and it is set forth plainly in the inspired Word. Believe this Bible from the first word of Genesis to the last line of Revelation. It will never mislead you. It has never misled anybody. There you learn that as surely as God's will is the axle of the universe, as certainly as his will is the great heart of providence sending its pulsings through even the most distant limbs of human act, so in grace he is King, having mercy on whom he will have mercy. Salvation rests upon his will, and yet the invitation stands open to all, whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. Come to Christ by faith, for there is no other name by which you must be saved, and in Him the will of God and the will of man meet in blessed agreement.
There is also a providential will of God which we should always consult, with guidance which comes from the circumstances that surround us. The apostle James warns us not to say, we will go and we will continue and we will buy and sell and get gain, as though we could both propose and dispose without asking God's consent at all. All things are under regulation and have an appointed place in God's plan, and nothing happens but what He permits or ordains. Knowing that, we will not always say with our lips, if the Lord wills, yet we will always feel it in our hearts. Say then in every purpose, I will go, or I will stay, if it be the will of God, and you shall find a quietness in submitting your desires to his wisdom. You are not omniscient and therefore your will can never be wiser than His, but you are his child through faith in Jesus, and therefore your desire shall be very prevalent with Him when it is according to his will.
Seek clarity then in this order. First, search the Scriptures daily, for there the truth you crave is preserved century after century and God Himself speaks through it. Second, wait upon the Lord in prayer, telling Him plainly what you desire, for He would have you tell Him what it is you would ask, and He will hear you and attend to it, granting what is for your profit. Third, watch providence, the opening and shutting of doors, the counsel of godly men, the peace of Christ ruling in your heart.
May the Lord give you not merely to learn and learn and hoard up knowledge, but to live out what you learn, for that will keep truth sweet within you. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you, to guide you, to keep you unspotted from the world, and to preserve you until He brings you to that place where faith shall be sight and you shall know even as you are known.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Your desire for understanding, clarity and truth, and for the Holy Spirit to touch your heart, is itself a good and God given desire, and He hears you when you pray Your will be done Father in Jesus name.
God does not hide His will from those who seek Him with a humble heart. As Scripture teaches, He reveals truth to those who come as little children, not to those who are wise in their own eyes and seek to establish their own righteousness. To receive revelation we need both a humble and well ordered soul and a willingness to be taught, and we need to make our deliberate choice to believe and to obey what He has already shown us. This is why prayer and obedience belong together. We pray for grace, and we also do our part as God works in us, trusting that if He has freed us from greater evils by grace alone, He will also guide us in the smaller matters of daily direction as we walk with Him.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, who alone is the way of salvation, I ask You to pour out Your grace upon this heart that is seeking You. Send Your Holy Spirit to bring light where there is confusion, truth where there is uncertainty, and peace where there is restlessness. Give a clear understanding of Your will as revealed in Your Word, and give the humility and faith to receive it and to follow it. Lead step by step, teach what to do and what to turn from, and form a heart that loves what You love. Help to be diligent in prayer and faithful in obedience, trusting that You are a tower and strength for those who call upon You. Let Your will be done in this life, for Your glory and for good.
