We join you in seeking the Father's will and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace and that our prayers are heard.

We understand your deep desire for clarity, truth, guidance and revelation concerning God's plan for your life, and we praise God that you are asking the Holy Spirit to touch your heart with the truth. That is exactly what He promises to do. Jesus said, However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth John 16:13. And we are told, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. God delights to give wisdom to those who ask in faith.

We encourage you to continue seeking Him with your whole heart through prayer and through His Word, for His Word is the lamp to our path and the primary way He reveals His will. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God Romans 12:2. As you renew your mind daily in Scripture, your heart will become more attuned to His voice. We also cling to His promise, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. And again, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you Psalm 32:8.

Be assured that God's plan for you is good and filled with hope, for He says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. Sometimes His guidance comes not all at once, but step by step as we walk in obedience to what we already know to be true. Wait patiently for Him, stay in fellowship with other believers, and keep your heart open to His correction and leading.

We pray together with you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus we come before You on behalf of this precious heart that longs for Your truth. We ask that You pour out Your Holy Spirit upon them in fresh measure and touch their heart with clarity and revelation according to Your perfect will. Remove any confusion, fear, or doubt, and let Your peace which passes all understanding guard their heart and mind. Give them wisdom liberally, open the eyes of their understanding, and make Your path straight before them. Help them to trust You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding, but to acknowledge You in every decision. Speak clearly through Your Word and by Your Spirit, and give them the courage to follow wherever You lead. We surrender this life and this situation to You and pray as Jesus taught us, Your will be done. We ask all of this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We are grateful you reached out with such an honest hunger for truth and direction. Wanting clarity and to know the Father's will is a good and humble place to be, and we are praying with you for that touch of the Holy Spirit on your heart.

We have found that when we are longing for revelation, it can feel like we are waiting for one big answer to drop. Often God guides more like a shepherd walking with us, showing the next faithful step as we stay close to Him through His Word, prayer, and the counsel of people who know us and love Jesus. That steady walking can bring a quiet confidence over time, even when not every detail is clear at once.

One simple way to keep that walk focused this week might be to set aside a few unhurried minutes each morning to pray your own words back to Him, Your will be done, read a short portion of Scripture slowly, and jot down one question you are carrying and any sense of direction or peace you notice. Bringing that same note to a trusted pastor or mature believer to pray through with you can also help you sort what is from God and what is just pressure.

Father, we ask You to draw near to our friend and make Your truth real to their heart. Give clarity where there is confusion, gentle guidance for the next step, and peace in trusting Your will. Lead them in Your way, in Jesus' name, amen.

Your longing for understanding, clarity, truth and guidance concerning God's plan is itself a gracious work, and it is right that you should pray, Your will be done, Father, in Jesus name.

Know this, that as surely as God's will is the axle of the universe, as certainly as His will is the great heart of providence sending its pulsings through even the most distant limbs of human act, so all things are under regulation and have an appointed place in His plan, and nothing happens but what He permits or ordains. There is a revealed will which we must not violate, and there is a providential will which we should always consult. The foolish man says, I will go, I will buy, I will sell, I will get gain, as if he could both propose and dispose without asking God's consent. The wise heart says, I will go or I will stay, if it is the will of God, and feels in every purpose, If the Lord wills.

If you would have clarity and revelation, be not content unless you get the Truth from the mouth of God. Say in your spirit, I will not be comforted unless God Himself shall comfort me, I want chapter and verse for that which I receive as Gospel. The Inspired Word of God, from the first word of Genesis to the last line of Revelation, will never mislead you. It will tell you the truth as to your conduct, as to your condition before God, as to what you are to believe and what you are to do. Of His own will He begat us with the Word of Truth. Therefore give yourself to that Word, and wait for guidance from God as to what He would have you do, and never be too positive in your expectations, lest you run before your Guide.

The Truth of God's salvation operates most powerfully upon our minds and so proves to us that it is real. If we have really laid hold of it, we believe in a real Fall, we believe in a real Atonement in the precious blood of Christ, and we receive a real pardon. There is permanence in God's salvation, it will never fade, it is not a temporary work. Salvation is of God's will, yet the work of the Spirit, which is the effect of the will of God, is to change the human will, and so make men willing in the day of God's power, working in them to will and to do of His good pleasure. And the invitation still stands, Whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. Come to Christ alone for mercy, for there is salvation through Jesus Christ alone, and no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Do not make up your mind that you will move, or that you will not move, in your own strength, but ask the Lord to search you and to lead you. He will come to your deliverance in the time of trouble, and His promise, though it tarry, never fails.

We pray for you now, that the Holy Spirit would touch your heart with truth, that He would open your eyes to see Christ clearly, that He would give you a real understanding of your need and of His real provision in the atonement, that He would grant you a settled peace in knowing you are really forgiven, and that He would make you willing to follow whatsoever He reveals to be His will. May you be kept from following your own passions and desires to your ruin, and may you be led step by step as He makes His way plain through His Word and through His providence.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you, and may it be your comfort on every page of life as it is on the last page of the Book.
