Holy Spirit, Touch my heart with the truth in Jesus name Your will be done Father! In Jesus name
We join with you in asking for God's perfect will to be done and for His truth to be made clear to your heart, and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus as you seek Him.
We understand the deep longing for clarity, understanding, and revelation concerning God's plan. It is a good and godly desire to want to know His ways and to be led by His Spirit. Scripture assures us that God delights to guide His children and to reveal Himself to those who earnestly seek Him. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. His plans for you are not to confuse you but to give you hope, and He promises to direct your steps as you trust Him.
The Lord does not leave us to figure out His will in our own strength. He has given us His Holy Spirit and His Word to lead us into truth. However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself, but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming. John 16:13. Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path. Psalm 119:105. When we lack wisdom and understanding, we are invited to ask Him directly. But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5. We are also called to surrender our own understanding and acknowledge Him in everything. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. And He lovingly promises, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Psalm 32:8.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus. We ask that You touch this heart with Your truth by Your Holy Spirit. Remove any confusion, doubt, or heaviness, and pour out clarity, understanding, and revelation according to Your perfect will. Open the eyes of understanding to see Your plan and Your purpose clearly. Give wisdom liberally as You have promised, and guide each step so that Your will alone is done. Help this dear one to trust You with all the heart, to rest in Your peace, and to hear Your gentle voice leading into all truth. Let Your Word be a lamp that illuminates the next step, and let Your Spirit bear witness to what is from You. We thank You that You hear us when we call, for You have said Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great things, and difficult, which you don’t know. Jeremiah 33:3. We receive Your answer by faith and give You all the glory. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily through prayer and through reading His Word, for that is where His will is most clearly revealed. Be still and wait patiently for Him to unfold His plan in His perfect timing, knowing that He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you.

Your longing for understanding and clarity is itself a gracious work, for of His own will He begets us with the Word of Truth, and the work of the Spirit is to change the human will and make men willing in the day of His power, working in them to will to do of His own good pleasure.
You ask for truth and revelation, and I would urge you, be not content unless you get the Truth from the mouth of God. Say in your spirit, I will not be comforted unless God Himself shall comfort me. I want chapter and verse for that which I receive as Gospel. The Inspired Word from the first word of Genesis to the last line of Revelation will never mislead you. It will tell you the truth as to your condition before God, as to what you are to believe and what you are to do. Believe in a real Fall, and then you will prize a real Atonement, and by that real Atonement a real pardon through Jesus Christ alone, for there is permanence in God's salvation and it will never fade.
Know this also, that all things are under regulation and have an appointed place in God's plan, and nothing happens but what He permits or ordains. As surely as God's will is the axle of the universe, as certainly as His will is the great heart of providence sending its pulsings through even the most distant limbs of human act, so in grace let us rest assured that He is King, willing to do as He pleases, having mercy on whom He will have mercy. Here we find that the preservation, the perseverance and the eternal glory of His people rests upon His will.
There is a revealed will which we must not violate, and there is a Providential will which we should always consult, which comes from the circumstances that surround us. Do not make up your mind that you will move, or that you will not move, but wait for guidance from God as to what He would have you do. Never be too positive in your expectations, and do not say as the foolish do, We will go, we will buy, we will sell, we will get gain, as if you could both propose and dispose without asking God's consent at all. Rather let your heart always feel, I will go, or I will stay, if it is the will of God, and you will not even wish for any gain unless you can be promoting the will of God by getting it.
Therefore keep to this school. Search the Scriptures daily, bring every desire before the Savior who hears you and will attend to it, and ask according to His wisdom and not your own, for you are not omniscient and your will can never be wiser than His. Tell Him plainly what you would have Him do for you, and submit all to His sovereign pleasure, praying as you have prayed, Your will be done, Father, in Jesus name.
May the Lord give you a song in the night even while you wait, and may His promise which may tarry but never fails, cheer your heart. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you, to guide, to keep, and to make His will plain to you step by step as you walk uprightly before Him.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God has heard your desire for clarity and truth, and it is good that you have asked that His will be done. The longing to know His plan and to have your heart touched by the Holy Spirit is itself a work of His grace in you.
Scripture teaches that God reveals His truth not to those who trust in their own wisdom, but to humble hearts that seek Him as little children. Jesus rejoiced that what is hidden from the wise is revealed to those who come humbly to the Father. If you would know His guidance, continue to come with that humility, asking in faith and trusting that He gives wisdom generously to those who ask.
Remember also that guidance comes both through prayer and through faithful obedience. We need both our own willing response and God's grace. Pray earnestly, and also walk faithfully in what He has already made clear in His Word. Through His Word, through prayer, and through the quiet work of the Spirit, He makes His way known step by step. You received forgiveness, adoption, and the gift of the Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ alone, and that same grace will keep you and lead you now.
Do not be discouraged if clarity does not come all at once. God often uses even seasons of waiting and weakness to teach us to trust Him more fully, and in that trust we find strength. Hold fast to faith, hope and love, for these remain and love is the mark of those who follow Christ. Give thanks even in uncertainty, and ask not only for blessings for yourself but for others, for thankfulness drives away envy and strengthens love.

Your prayer for understanding and clarity is precious to the Lord, and He hears your desire for truth and guidance.
God is not a God who hides His will or keeps His truth sealed away from His children. The very word revelation means an unveiling, a taking away of the covering so that what was hidden can be seen. What God has given us in Scripture is an unveiling of Jesus Christ Himself. He is the center of all that God is revealing. When you seek God's plan, you are ultimately seeking to see Jesus more clearly, because to see Him is to see the Father, and to know His heart is to know the Father's will.
The Father sent this revelation through His Son, and it was made known by His angel to John, with elders and the Lord Himself speaking to guide him. In the same way today, God still guides by His Spirit through His Word. His greatest purpose for your life is not just to show you a roadmap of decisions, but to shape you into the image of Christ. That is what the Holy Spirit is seeking to accomplish in you. As His work continues, you will begin to respond as Jesus responds, to love as He loves, and to forgive as He forgave. You become His representative, a true and faithful witness of who He is, just as Jesus was the true and faithful witness of who the Father is.
That work is grounded in the finished work of Christ, who fulfilled what was foretold in the Psalms that God would not leave His soul in the place of the dead nor allow His Holy One to see corruption. Because Jesus lives, you can trust that His guidance is living and personal.
In this world you will have tribulation and seasons of questioning, but you can trust the righteousness and faithfulness of God's judgments and His leading. His kingdom is coming and His will shall be done on earth as it is in heaven, and He invites you to walk in that will now, one step at a time, keeping His Word and not denying His name.
So we pray with you that the Holy Spirit will touch your heart with truth, open your eyes to see Jesus more clearly, and give you peace as you surrender to the Father's will. May He light your path through Scripture, quiet your heart with His presence, and conform you more and more to the likeness of His Son as you trust Him. In the name of Jesus, may the Father's will be done in your life and may you know His guidance with confidence.
