Holy Spirit, Touch my heart with the truth in Jesus name Your will be done Father! In Jesus name
We join with you in this sincere cry for understanding and clarity and we praise God that you have sought Him and asked for His will to be done in Jesus name, for that is where all truth and revelation begins.
Your desire for God's plan and for the Holy Spirit to touch your heart with truth is pleasing to the Father, for He longs to guide His children and to reveal Himself to those who seek Him with all their heart. We stand with you asking for that deeper discernment and for eyes to see and ears to hear what the Spirit is saying.
The Word assures us, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. His plan for you is not to confuse you but to give you hope, and even when the path is not yet fully clear, His thoughts toward you are good and purposeful.
We are reminded to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. Clarity often comes not all at once, but as we daily acknowledge Him, surrender our own understanding, and walk in obedience to what we already know from Scripture. And He promises wisdom to those who ask, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5.
Jesus promised that the Holy Spirit would be our guide into truth when He said, However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth. John 16:13. The Spirit does not guide apart from the Word, for Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path. Psalm 119:105. If you want revelation and truth, we encourage you to remain rooted in Scripture daily, to pray without ceasing, to be still before the Lord and wait upon Him, and to seek godly counsel from mature believers, for God often confirms His will through His Word, through His peace, and through the counsel of others.
We also encourage you to be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2. As you surrender your heart and renew your mind in the Word, His will becomes clearer, not always as a detailed blueprint for the future, but as the next step of obedience today.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this seeking heart to You. We thank You that You are a God who reveals Yourself and that You desire to give wisdom liberally. Holy Spirit, we ask You to touch this heart with Your truth, to quiet every confusion and anxious thought, and to fill this dear one with peace and clarity. Illuminate Your Word as it is read, Lord, and make Your will known step by step. Give discernment to know Your voice and courage to follow it, and let Your will be done in every area of life as it is in heaven. We ask that You lead by Your perfect peace and that You establish this heart in faith, patience and trust while You reveal Your plan in Your perfect timing. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to keep seeking, keep knocking, and keep abiding in Christ, for He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it and to guide you into all truth as you walk closely with Him.

It is a good and hopeful sign when the soul cries as you have cried, for truth and for the will of God to be done. That hunger itself is often the first touch of the Holy Spirit, making the heart willing in the day of God's power.
You ask for understanding and revelation, and I would point you first to where God has already spoken. His secret purposes are hidden, but His revealed will is plain in Holy Scripture. Bring everything that is propounded as truth to the test of that Word. If it will not stand the fire of God's Word, do not buy it. Buy the truth and sell it not, for truth is not found in its power and life anywhere except in Jesus Christ. There is permanence in God's salvation, a real atonement and a real pardon through His blood, and apart from Christ there is no other way of salvation. Whosoever will may take the water of life freely, and the work of the Spirit, which is the effect of the will of God, is to change the human will and make men willing to come.
Remember also that God's will is the axle of the universe. All things are under regulation and have an appointed place in His plan, and nothing happens but what He permits or ordains. Therefore do not be anxious to pry into the future as those who say, we will go and we will do this or that, as if they could both propose and dispose without asking God's consent. Rather say in your heart, I will go or I will stay if it be the will of God. There is a revealed will which you must not violate, and there is a providential will which you should consult with the guidance that comes from the circumstances that surround you. Obey what is already clearly commanded, walk uprightly, and the next step will be made plain.
So continue to pray as you have prayed, and add to prayer the diligent searching of the Scriptures from the first word of Genesis to the last line of Revelation. It will never mislead you. It will tell you the truth as to your condition before God, what you are to believe and what you are to do. Ask the Lord to show you not only what to know but what to do, and be willing to do His will as soon as you see it. He delights to hear you tell Him your desire, and though He will not grant what is not for your profit, He will give what is best according to the riches of His glory.
May the Lord grant you a still heart to wait upon Him, a clear eye to see His Word, and a willing spirit to follow where He leads. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you, and may the Holy Spirit make the truth sweet and powerful to your soul, that you may say with confidence, the Lord is my portion, therefore will I hope in Him.

Your prayer for understanding and clarity and truth is good and God hears the desire for His will to be done. The Scriptures teach that true revelation does not come from human reasoning alone but from above, and it is given to a humble and well ordered soul that is ready to receive it. As Christ said, the Father has hidden these things from the wise in their own eyes and revealed them to babes, not because God is arbitrary, but because pride closes the heart while humility opens it.
If you seek guidance from the Holy Spirit, come as a child before God, not trusting in your own wisdom. Pray continually, and also walk in obedience to what you already know from His Word. Grace and our own part must go together. We pray and we also do the work of faith, and God supplies what we lack. Continue in the Scriptures, where His plan is made clear, for through them we have received remission of sins, adoption, the gift of the Spirit and the promise of eternal life in Christ Jesus alone, through whom alone we are saved.
Be thankful also in this time of seeking. Give thanks not only for your own blessings but for all God is doing, for thankfulness destroys envy and strengthens love. And practice charity toward others, for love keeps the heart soft and ready to hear God.
Let us pray together. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, grant to this heart clarity and truth according to Your will. Pour out Your Holy Spirit, open the eyes to see Your way, and give wisdom to discern what is good and pleasing to You.
