God’s plan

Kensem

Beloved of All
Need a good understanding, clarity, truth, guidance, revelation❤️‍🩹 Holy Spirit, Touch my heart with the truth in Jesus name Your will be done Father! In Jesus name

We come before the Lord with a humble and seeking heart, lifting up this earnest plea for understanding, clarity, truth, guidance, and revelation in God’s perfect plan. Father, we know that Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). You have a purpose and a plan for each of Your children, and we ask that You would reveal it in Your perfect timing and according to Your perfect will.

Heavenly Father, we pray that You would touch this heart with Your truth. Open the eyes of understanding so that the path You have set before them may be made clear. Your Word tells us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6). Lord, we surrender our own plans, our own desires, and our own limited understanding, and we ask that You would direct every step according to Your will.

Holy Spirit, we invite You to move powerfully in this life. Fill this heart with divine wisdom and revelation, as Paul prayed for the believers in Ephesus: "that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him; having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints" (Ephesians 1:17-18). Let this be the prayer of our hearts as well, may we know the hope of Your calling and walk in the fullness of Your purpose.

Lord, we also ask that You would guard this heart against deception, doubt, and the lies of the enemy. The devil seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we stand firm in the truth of Your Word. Jesus said, "If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free" (John 8:31-32). Father, let Your truth be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). Remove any confusion, fear, or uncertainty, and replace it with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We also want to encourage this heart to seek You first above all else. Jesus taught us, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33). When we prioritize Your Kingdom, You promise to add all that we need. So we pray that this life would be marked by a deep and abiding hunger for Your presence, Your Word, and Your will. May they not be swayed by the distractions of this world but remain steadfast in their pursuit of You.

Father, we also want to address the importance of walking in obedience to Your Word. True revelation and guidance come when we are living in alignment with Your commands. Jesus said, "If you love me, keep my commandments" (John 14:15). Let this heart be one that delights in Your law and meditates on it day and night (Psalm 1:2). As they obey You, they will experience the fullness of Your blessings and the clarity they are seeking.

We also pray for patience and trust in Your timing. So often, we grow weary in waiting, but Your Word reminds us, "Wait for the Lord. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for the Lord" (Psalm 27:14). Father, we ask that You would strengthen this heart to wait on You, knowing that Your timing is perfect and Your plans are good.

Finally, Lord, we rebuke any spirit of confusion, doubt, or fear that may be attempting to hinder this journey. We declare that this life is covered by the blood of Jesus and sealed by the Holy Spirit. No weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand firm in the authority of Christ, who has overcome the world (John 16:33).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and expectation. We thank You for the promise that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us (1 John 5:14). We ask that You would grant this heart a deep and abiding understanding of Your plan. Touch them with Your truth, Holy Spirit, and let Your light shine brightly in their life. Remove any darkness, any doubt, and any deception, and fill them with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding (Colossians 1:9).

Father, we pray that they would walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing You, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:10). Strengthen them with all power according to Your glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy (Colossians 1:11). May they be rooted and built up in Christ, established in the faith, and overflowing with thankfulness (Colossians 2:7).

Lord, we ask that You would give them a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. Enlighten the eyes of their heart to know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the exceeding greatness of Your power toward us who believe (Ephesians 1:17-19). Let them know the width, length, height, and depth of Your love, which surpasses all knowledge, and may they be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:18-19).

We declare that this life is set apart for Your purposes, and we pray that You would use them mightily for Your glory. May they be a vessel of honor, sanctified and useful to the Master, prepared for every good work (2 Timothy 2:21). Let Your will be done in their life, just as it is in heaven.

In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

It’s so understandable to ache for clarity, to want to see God’s plan with our own eyes and know we’re not wandering. We’ve sat with that same ache, and what we keep learning is that God’s guidance rarely downloads in a single, unmistakable message. More often, He gives us just enough light for the next small step, and our trust grows as we take it.

One thing that helps us when we feel foggy is to stop asking “What’s the whole plan?” and instead ask, “What’s the one thing in front of me right now that I know pleases Him?” It might be steadying your heart in prayer, handling the ordinary tasks of today with care, or quietly asking the Holy Spirit to bring to mind anything you’ve been avoiding. Sometimes clarity comes not as a map but as a quiet nudge toward the next right act.

In your prayer for revelation, we’d also invite you to simply sit with the Lord without words, letting your heart be still. Tell Him you’re ready to hear, even if it comes slowly. And then give yourself permission to move forward in the direction that brings a sense of peace and agreement with His character, trusting that He can redirect you if needed. He isn’t hiding from you; He’s faithful to guide those who depend on Him.

Father, we lift up this person who earnestly wants Your will. Touch their heart with Your truth, not just in a rush of revelation but in the daily, gentle way You lead. Quiet the inner noise, and give them courage to take the next small, obedient step. Hold them steady in the waiting, and let them sense Your nearness. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The Truth of God's salvation operates most powerfully upon our minds and so proves to us that it is real. You seek clarity and revelation of God's plan, but take heed, truth has suffered on all sides; on the one hand some would not see the truth, and on the other hand they magnified out of proportion that which they did see. They magnify one capital truth till it becomes monstrous; they minify and speak little of another truth till it becomes altogether forgotten.

If we have really laid hold of the Truth of God's salvation, we believe in a real Fall. You who have really transgressed, you are the men and women for whom there is Truth in God's salvation, but, if there is no truth in your sinnership, there is, to you, no Truth in Christ's salvation. Once more, if we get to know the Truth of God's salvation, we believe in a real Atonement. The blood of Jesus Christ, God's dear Son, cleanses us from all sin! Paul challenges the whole universe to lay anything to the charge of God's elect, for God has justified them.

It is consistent with the universal experience of all God's people that salvation is of God's will. Beloved, would you see God's Truth? Look into His side and see there the sacred mystery of God's hatred for sin, a hatred so deep that He spared not His own Son, but delivered Him because of sin! Never could there be a clearer Witness than the bleeding Jesus, of God's hatred to sin! Above all, read Christ's witness to God's love. The whole end to which we drive is this, May God enable us all to see that our salvation is in Him!

Has God made known any Truth in His Word? Believe in this Bible from the first word of Genesis to the last line of Revelation. It will never mislead you! It has never misled anybody. It will tell you the truth as to your conduct, as to your condition before God, as to what you are to believe and what you are to do. No man may control you, but God has never given liberty to your thought or to your understanding to be free from His government!

You are not Omniscient and, therefore, your will can never be wiser than His, but you are God's child and, therefore, your desire shall be very prevalent with Him. Let the riches of God's Glory, rather than the meanness of your own estate, measure the compass of your requests, when He says, "What do you want Me to do for you?"

There is one sweet proof which we sometimes have of the Truth of God's salvation and that is, our sense of sonship. These are testing times, but it is then that you know the Truth of God's salvation! Oh, to have our ears unstopped that we may hear every syllable of the Truth of God gladly, cheerfully, retentively! God grant us that swiftness of hearing tonight! Slow to speak, slow to wrath. Sinner though you are, if you come beneath the Cross and trustingly look up to God's dear Son, you shall be saved! "And can He have taught me to trust in His name, And thus far have brought me, to put me to shame?"

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
