God's plan

We hear your cry for understanding, clarity, and divine revelation concerning God’s plan for your life. The longing in your heart is not in vain, for the Scriptures assure us that the Lord delights in revealing His will to those who seek Him with sincerity. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). This promise is yours, but it requires a heart fully surrendered to His truth and a spirit attuned to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

First, we must address the foundation of your request. You have rightly invoked the name of Jesus, and this is critical, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are made righteous. If you have not yet confessed Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Romans 10:9-10 tells us, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Salvation is the starting point for all who seek to walk in God’s will.

Now, let us seek the Lord together for the clarity and revelation you desire. The Holy Spirit is our Helper, our Teacher, and the One who leads us into all truth (John 16:13). We must ask Him to illuminate the Scriptures for us, for "your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105). God’s Word is the ultimate source of truth, and it is through the Bible that we discern His will. We encourage you to immerse yourself in the Scriptures daily, asking the Holy Spirit to open your eyes to His truth. Meditate on passages that speak of God’s plans for His children, such as Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

We also recognize that understanding God’s plan requires patience and trust. The Lord does not always reveal His will in an instant, but He is faithful to guide us step by step. "The steps of a good man are ordered by Yahweh, and he delights in his way" (Psalm 37:23). Do not grow weary in seeking Him, for He rewards those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). If you are facing uncertainty or confusion, bring it before the Lord in prayer, and ask Him to remove any distractions or sin that may be hindering your ability to hear His voice. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

Let us also address the importance of walking in obedience to what God has already revealed to you. Often, we seek new revelation while neglecting the clear commands He has already given us. Jesus said, "If you love me, keep my commandments" (John 14:15). Are there areas in your life where you know you are not fully aligned with God’s Word? Perhaps it is in your relationships, your finances, your speech, or your priorities. The Lord will not reveal more of His plan to us if we are willfully disobedient in areas where we already know His will. We must first submit to what He has shown us before we can expect further guidance.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your will and Your plan for their life. Lord, You are the God who knows the end from the beginning, and You have promised to guide us with Your eye upon us (Psalm 32:8). We ask that You would open their spiritual eyes to see Your truth and their ears to hear Your voice. Remove any confusion, doubt, or fear that may be clouding their understanding, and replace it with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Holy Spirit, we invite You to move powerfully in their life. Touch their heart with Your truth and fill them with a hunger for Your Word. Give them wisdom and discernment as they seek to understand Your will, and lead them into the specific plans You have for them. Father, we ask that You would align their desires with Yours, so that they may walk in the center of Your perfect will.

Lord, if there are any areas of disobedience or sin in their life, we ask that You would bring them to light. Convict their heart, and give them the strength to repent and turn away from anything that is not pleasing to You. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and restore them to a place of fellowship with You.

We declare that Your will shall be done in their life, Father. We trust that You are working all things together for their good, even when they cannot see the full picture (Romans 8:28). Give them patience to wait on You and faith to trust in Your timing. May they walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are in control.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart. Spend time in prayer and in the Word, and surround yourself with fellow believers who can speak truth into your life. The Lord is faithful, and He will not leave you without guidance. "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and He will lead you into the fullness of His plan for you.

Thank you for sharing this cry for understanding and truth, it’s something we often feel ourselves, and we’re glad to sit with you in it.

The desire to know God’s plan is a holy restlessness. What we’ve found, though, is that He rarely downloads the whole blueprint at once. More often, His guidance comes like a lamp lighting just the next step, so that we learn to trust His hand rather than our own map. That doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong; it means you’re in a place where He can teach your heart to lean on His voice.

One simple thing that has helped us: come before the Lord with a quiet “Speak, Lord, your servant is listening,” and then wait, no agenda, just stillness. As you read Scripture (even a portion you’ve read many times), ask the Holy Spirit to make a particular truth land in your heart with weight and warmth, not just in your head. You might also try writing down whatever gentle impression surfaces during that time, sometimes clarity grows as we notice what brings genuine peace or an uneasy check in our spirit.

We pray with you now: Father, thank You that You are not hiding Your will from this dear heart. Quiet every anxious thought, and by Your Spirit bring a deep, personal sense of truth that settles the soul. Light the path just enough for the next step, and let peace be the sign that You are near. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You cry out for understanding of God’s plan, for clarity, truth, guidance, revelation. This is a holy hunger, and it comes from the Spirit’s own stirring. Take heart, then, that He who began this work will perfect it. But let me press this upon you: the truth you seek is not a puzzle to unlock with cleverness, but a Person to embrace with your whole heart, Jesus Christ, who is the Truth. Before you can know the sweetness of His plan, you must know the bitterness of your own sinnership. The truth of God’s salvation begins with a real Fall. If you have never seen yourself truly fallen, condemned, and without strength, then to you there is no truth in Christ’s salvation. But if the Spirit has touched your heart and shown you your guilt, then you are the very one for whom a real Atonement was made. The blood of Jesus cleanses from all sin, real sin, real guilt, real cleansing. Have you laid hold of that? Then you have real pardon, real sonship; the truth of God is not a theory but a life breathed into your soul.

You ask for guidance and revelation. Be God’s pupil, my friend, for He has said, “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go.” The Scriptures are the lamp, and the Spirit the light; do not look for voices in the air or signs in the heavens, for this Book has never misled a single soul. From the first word of Genesis to the last line of Revelation, it tells you the truth about your condition and your conduct. Let the Spirit lead you into no other truth than this Word reveals. And when He teaches, be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. Let that truth make you a witness in your life, for to speak the truth with your lips while your life speaks falsehood is to undo your testimony. The world must see in you the marks of one separated unto God, a stranger and pilgrim who casts in his lot with God’s people, though they be poor and despised. Your prayer, “Your will be done,” is the highest wisdom, but do not forget that as God’s child you may ask what you will. Let the riches of God’s glory, not the poverty of your own estate, measure the compass of your requests.

Above all, remember this: you are a brand plucked from the fire, if you are in Christ. There is nothing in you that deserved His notice, yet He has set His love upon you and will make you His jewel. The clearest revelation of God’s plan is seen at Calvary, His hatred of sin, His boundless love, His perfect justice meeting mercy. Look there until your heart burns within you. The truth you cry for will be made so real that nothing shall shake it. Only keep yourself at the foot of the cross, let the Spirit be your Teacher, and walk in the company of those who fear the Lord. God’s plan for you is Christ, Christ for wisdom, Christ for righteousness, Christ for sanctification, Christ for redemption. In Him all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hid. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The soul that hungers for God’s will, crying out for truth and revelation, has already begun to taste the Light. For that was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. Not the scribes and wise men, puffed up with their own intelligence, but those who become as little children, poor in spirit, receive the revelation. It is hidden from the proud and given to the humble, not by human effort, but because God Himself unveils the mystery. Fear not the simplicity of your prayer, for the lessons of the truth are plain and easy even to a laborer, to a servant, to a very child.

Do not then think that because you lack some great sign or sudden voice, grace is absent. The Apostle Paul himself was converted in the height of his madness by a Divine revelation without human teaching, yet he pointed back to his former life as proof. Your very hunger, your turning from confusion to the Father’s will in Jesus’ name, is evidence of the Spirit touching your heart. The Holy Spirit glorifies the Son, and no one can say Jesus is Lord except by that same Spirit. If you seek Christ’s kingdom, you have already been taught of God. Thine is the kingdom means that the enemy warring against your clarity is a servant, though degraded, permitted only what the Master allows. Fear no one.

Now observe carefully how God’s plan always glories in the Cross. The Blood of Christ, carried into the True Holy Place, becomes our sanctification through reproach. To go forth outside the camp, bearing His disgrace, is to share His life. The world’s wisdom calls this foolishness, but here is the truth: what the models and shadows of old could only outline, Christ has fulfilled. The former laws were for mortals, the latter for angels; the first were lessons for children, the latter for full-grown men in grace. Do not seek a plan that sidesteps self-denial. If the Son of Man suffered voluntarily, according to the divine arrangement, then the path into His kingdom is likewise from without the gate. There, with Him, you will find revelation, for reality is where the Sacrifice is.

And now consider charity, for knowledge of God’s will must become love in action. Scripture commands, Redeem those who are ready to be slain; spare not. It does not say, first inquire curiously whether the needy are worthy. For he that does good to one unknown, this man acts purely for God’s sake. So your prayer for guidance must be joined to the works of mercy which confirm the heart in truth. “Do not spare” thy comfort, thy time, thy pride, even if it seems you must spend all, yet give. In the crucible of self-forgetting love, the fog of confusion lifts, and you will understand that His power is perfected in weakness, His wisdom revealed through what appears foolish.

Therefore, continue as you began, crying Abba, Father, with the simplicity of a babe. Do not envy the worldly-wise who, seeking to establish their own righteousness, have lost the righteousness of God. It was not written for Abraham’s sake alone, that faith was imputed to him for righteousness, but for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on Him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead. This is the whole ground of your hope: not your perfect clarity, but His completed work. In Him you are brought near, not as a servant who must guess the master’s purpose from afar, but as a son enlightened by the Spirit of adoption. Walk in that light, and the path, though narrow, will become plain step by step. The truth you seek is a Person. Stay near Him.
