God’s plan

Do not be anxious that the truth is hidden from you. The lessons of God are all plain to comprehend and easy to learn, even for a laborer, a servant, a widow, or a very child. What wise men failed to grasp, God reveals to those who remain babes. He has hidden these things from the proud and self-reliant, and revealed them to the lowly, not because of any diligence on their part, but by His own gracious will. So fear and continue humble, and you will have the benefit of revelation.

While you seek understanding, do not neglect charity. True charity is shown toward sinners and the unworthy, not only to those who appear righteous. Do not enquire curiously and learn who is deserving, but stretch out your hand to those in need, even if you must spend all. This is done purely for God’s sake, and it opens the heart to His truth. Let your heart be acquainted with Scripture, sound doctrine, and kindness, for from these all excellencies have birth.

Remember that the full brightness of God’s plan often shines only after the cross is accepted. When the things that offend are removed and our own will is crucified, then the right opinion concerning Christ is engraven pure and immovable in the mind, and His power is clearly seen. Do not demand full clarity before its time; a revelation, like Paul’s, comes to those who bear weakness and persevere. Wait on the Lord in charity, humility, and patient endurance, and the Holy Spirit will touch your heart with the truth.

Your cry for understanding and clarity is heard. The very fact that you are yearning for Gods plan and truth is evidence that His Spirit is already moving in your heart. He promises that those who seek will find, and He does not hide Himself from a humble, searching soul.

Many people imagine that Gods purposes are locked away, impossible to grasp. But the Scriptures speak of an unveiling. The book of Revelation itself, with all its mysterious imagery, is first and foremost an opening up, a taking off of the wrappings so that we can see Jesus Christ for who He really is. The truth is not sealed against you. It is made known in the person of Jesus, who said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” When you ask the Holy Spirit to touch your heart with truth, you are asking for what God longs to give. He sent His Spirit to guide you into all truth, to shine light on the Word, and to show you the hope of your calling.

You asked for a good understanding of Gods plan. Begin here: you were created for His pleasure. Not as a cold demand, but as a loving design. Your life finds its deepest meaning when you are living in fellowship with Him, trusting that His hand is ordering your steps even when the path feels uncertain. There are no true coincidences for a child of God. He is working out a plan in your life, shaping you into the image of Christ. That plan unfolds day by day, and He gives clarity for the next step, not always the whole map. Look back and you will see moments where His guidance was woven through the details, often unnoticed at the time.

When you read Revelation, you find a pattern: the things John had seen, the things that are, and the things that will be after. That mirrors how God reveals His will to us. He shows us what He has done in the past, His faithfulness, the cross, the empty tomb. He shows us our present condition and the reality of His church, flawed yet beloved, holding fast in a world that often sits under the shadow of the evil one. And He gives us a glimpse of the future: a day when all wrongs are made right, when His kingdom comes in fullness, and when every tear is wiped away. That eternal hope anchors us, keeping us from losing heart when earthly circumstances are confusing.

The prayer on your lips is powerful: “Your will be done, Father.” That is exactly the surrender that brings peace. The Holy Spirit will touch your heart with the truth of Jesus, not as a distant fact but as a living reality. He will open your eyes to see that Gods judgment is always righteous, He is fair, merciful, and just. You do not need to fear His plan. Even when the world seems chaotic and leaders act in bewildering ways, the Lamb is on the throne. He holds the scroll of history. He is worthy to receive glory and power, and He is working all things toward that end.

So press into His Word. Let it light a fire within you. Ask Him to give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ. He will not turn you away. As you worship Him in spirit and in truth, whether in a quiet room, in the middle of a busy day, or gathered with others, you will find that His voice becomes clearer. The blessed Holy Spirit has sealed you, a down payment of a full redemption to come. That means God is utterly intent on completing what He started in you.

Walk forward in the light you have. Obey what you already know, and more will be given. Trust that His plan is good, and let your prayer continue to be, “Touch my heart with the truth.” He will. And in that truth, you will find the One who is Himself the way, and the life you are searching for.
