Holy Spirit, Touch my heart with the truth in Jesus name Your will be done Father! In Jesus name
We come before the Lord with a humble and seeking heart, lifting up this request for understanding, clarity, and divine revelation regarding God’s plan. The desire to know His will is a beautiful and necessary pursuit for every believer, for His ways are higher than ours, and His thoughts far beyond our understanding (Isaiah 55:8-9). We rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). The Holy Spirit is our Helper, our Guide, and the One who reveals the deep things of God to us (1 Corinthians 2:10-12). Let us seek Him together with open hearts, trusting that He will lead us into all truth (John 16:13).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that You would touch this heart with Your truth. Lord, Your Word says that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given to us (James 1:5). We ask for wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, that the eyes of this heart may be enlightened to know the hope to which You have called us, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints, and the immeasurable greatness of Your power toward us who believe (Ephesians 1:17-19).
Father, we pray that You would remove any confusion, doubt, or fear that may be clouding this mind. Your Word tells us that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke every lie of the enemy that seeks to distort Your truth or hinder this understanding. Lord, we ask that You would align this heart with Your will, that this life would be a reflection of Your purpose and glory. Help this one to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding, acknowledging You in all their ways so that You may direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We stand on the promise that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we also pray for patience and trust in Your timing. Your Word reminds us that there is a season for everything, and a time for every matter under heaven (Ecclesiastes 3:1). Help this one to wait on You, knowing that those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). May this heart find peace in the knowledge that You are in control, and Your plans are for welfare and not for evil, to give a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We encourage you to immerse yourself in the Word of God, for it is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12). Spend time in prayer, not just asking, but also listening for the Holy Spirit’s guidance. Seek godly counsel from mature believers who can speak truth into your life and help you discern God’s will. Remember, the Lord delights in those who fear Him and hope in His steadfast love (Psalm 147:11). Walk in obedience to what you already know of His Word, and He will lead you step by step into the fullness of His plan.

Your cry for understanding, clarity, and truth is the drawing of the Spirit, for no heart truly pants after the living God unless He has first breathed upon it. You seek God’s plan, then look to the plan that was from the beginning: salvation in Jesus Christ, the eternal Son. The truth of God’s salvation is not a matter of fog and moonbeams; it stands on solid facts. Have you learned the truth of your own sinnership? That you are fallen indeed, a real transgressor? Then know that for such as you there is a real Atonement, the blood of Jesus Christ, God’s dear Son, cleanses from all sin. There is no truth in His salvation if you will not own the truth of your ruin; but when the Spirit touches your heart with conviction, He leads you to a real pardon and a living sense of sonship. This is the revelation you need: that God justifies the ungodly who trust in His Son.
Let not your mind be confused by picking and choosing among truths, as if one doctrine could swallow all others. God’s will in the matter of salvation is perfectly consistent: He has chosen a people, yet He commands all men everywhere to repent and believe the gospel. You need not untie this knot; you need only to come to Christ, for He says, “Ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you.” The Holy Spirit is the great Teacher; He will guide you into the whole circle of revealed truth. The Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, has never misled a seeking soul. Read it as God’s pupil, and He will show you wondrous things. Be not slow to speak in prayer, nor slow to hear what He speaks in return.
When you have found the truth, let your life be true as well as your lips; cast in your lot with God’s people, though they have many faults. Ruth left all to say, “Your people shall be my people,” and such decision brings power. Your prayer that the Father’s will be done is the sweetest surrender; and His will is this, that you look to the Cross, find forgiveness, and become one of His firebrands plucked from the burning, a jewel for His crown. His mercy is deep enough for the chief of sinners. Trust the bleeding Witness of God’s love, and He will give you the understanding and guidance you seek.
