The Bible tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Yet so often, we struggle to discern those thoughts because we are limited by our own understanding or distracted by the noise of the world. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. Give them the courage to surrender every plan, every dream, and every fear into Your hands. Lead them, step by step, into the path You have prepared for them (Ephesians 2:10).
Father, if there are any unconfessed sins or areas of disobedience in their life, bring them to light so they may repent and walk in the freedom of Your forgiveness. We rebuke the spirit of confusion and deception in Jesus’ name, and we declare that this one will not be led astray by the lies of the enemy. Instead, let them be rooted and grounded in Your Word, which is a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105).
Lord, we also pray for divine encounters—God-ordained moments where Your will becomes unmistakably clear. Surround them with godly counselors who will speak Your truth into their life (Proverbs 11:14). Give them patience to wait on You and faith to trust You even when the path is unclear.
Above all, we pray that their life would bring glory to Your name. May they not seek their own will but Yours, and may they find their ultimate joy and purpose in knowing You and making You known.
