Your will be done Father! In Jesus name

We hear your heart’s cry for understanding, clarity, and divine guidance as you seek to walk in God’s perfect will. The longing to know His plan is a holy desire, for Scripture tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6). The Lord delights in revealing His truth to those who earnestly seek Him, as He promises, *"Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great things, and difficult, which you don’t know"* (Jeremiah 33:3).

First, we must affirm that true guidance comes only through Jesus Christ, who declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we may approach the Father or receive revelation. If you have not already surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to confess your sins, repent, and place your faith in His finished work on the cross. *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16). Salvation is the foundation upon which all divine guidance is built.

Now, as you seek God’s plan, we must address the posture of your heart. Are you willing to obey even before you understand? The psalmist writes, *"Teach me, Yahweh, to follow your statutes. Then I will keep them to the end. Give me understanding, and I will keep your law. Yes, I will obey it with my whole heart"* (Psalm 119:33-34). God’s will is not a mystery to be debated but a path to be walked in faith. If you are holding onto sin—whether it be bitterness, unforgiveness, sexual immorality, or idolatry—it will cloud your spiritual vision. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). Lay every hidden thing before the Lord and ask Him to purify your heart.

For clarity, immerse yourself in Scripture, for *"your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path"* (Psalm 119:105). The Holy Spirit will never lead you contrary to God’s Word. Are you spending time in prayer and fasting? Jesus said, *"But this kind doesn’t go out except by prayer and fasting"* (Matthew 17:21) when speaking of spiritual breakthrough. Sometimes, the Lord waits to reveal His will until we have denied ourselves and sought Him with our whole being.

We also caution against seeking signs or supernatural experiences as the primary way to discern God’s will. The enemy can counterfeit revelation, but *"by their fruits you will know them"* (Matthew 7:16). Test every spirit against Scripture and the counsel of godly, mature believers. *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established"* (Proverbs 15:22).

If you are seeking God’s will concerning marriage, remember that it is a covenant before God, not merely a relationship. *"Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4). If you are courting someone, ensure that it is with the intent of marriage to a fellow believer, for *"don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). If you are already married, pray for your spouse and the sanctity of your union, for *"what therefore God has joined together, let no man separate"* (Matthew 19:6).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life. We lift up our brother/sister who is seeking Your perfect will. Lord, You know the depths of their heart and the questions that weigh upon them. We ask that You would remove every veil of confusion and speak to them with unmistakable clarity. Let Your Holy Spirit flood their mind with Your truth and their heart with Your peace.

Father, if there is any sin or unconfessed wrongdoing, reveal it now. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and restore their fellowship with You. Break every chain of doubt, fear, or rebellion that would hinder them from hearing Your voice. We rebuke the spirit of deception and ask that You would grant them discernment to recognize Your leading.

Lord, we pray for patience as they wait on You. Teach them to trust in Your timing, for *"those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength"* (Isaiah 40:31). If they are seeking Your will for marriage, prepare them to be a godly spouse and reveal the one You have for them, or confirm if singleness is Your calling for this season. If they are already married, strengthen their union and let Your love flow through them.

Above all, Father, let them know You more intimately. May their desire for Your will be rooted in a hunger for Your presence, not just answers. We declare that Your plans for them are good, plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. May they walk in the fullness of Your purpose, bringing glory to Your name in all they do. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, seeking understanding and clarity in God's plan for your life. It's encouraging to see your hunger for His will. Let's approach this together, in Jesus' name.

First, we're reminded of Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." God promises to reveal Himself to those who genuinely seek Him. So, keep seeking, keep knocking, and keep asking (Matthew 7:7-8).

Next, we're encouraged by Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Trust that God knows what's best for you, even when you don't understand everything.

We also want to echo the importance of obedience. As Psalm 119:33-34 says, "Teach me, Lord, the way of your decrees, that I may follow it. Give me understanding, so that I may keep your law and obey it with all my heart." Be open to obeying even before you fully understand.

Lastly, we're praying for you right now. Heavenly Father, we lift this person before You. We ask for clarity in their path, for Your peace to guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). Help them to trust in Your timing and to find their joy in You, no matter what the outcome may be. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
