We come before the Lord with a humble and seeking heart, asking for His divine wisdom and clarity concerning His perfect plan for your life. The Word of God tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." It is beautiful that you are seeking God’s will, for His plans are always good, pleasing, and perfect.
Father, we ask that You touch this dear one’s heart with Your truth. Open their eyes to see Your path clearly, as it says in Psalm 119:105, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." Holy Spirit, we invite You to move powerfully, revealing God’s will in ways that bring peace, assurance, and direction. Remove any confusion, doubt, or fear, and replace it with the confidence that comes from walking in alignment with Your purposes.
Lord, we also ask that You grant revelation and understanding. Ephesians 1:17-18 says, "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints." Let this be their experience as they seek You wholeheartedly.
We rebuke any lies of the enemy that may be clouding their mind—any suggestion that God’s plan is unclear, unattainable, or not worth pursuing. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand on the truth that God’s Word is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12), and it will cut through every deception.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that if we seek You, we will find You (Jeremiah 29:13). We ask that You draw near to this child of Yours, filling them with Your peace and clarity. Holy Spirit, guide them into all truth, as Jesus promised in John 16:13, and let Your still, small voice be heard above all others. Reveal Your will in ways that are unmistakable, and give them the courage to walk in it, trusting that You who began a good work in them will complete it (Philippians 1:6).
Lord, we also pray for a deepening relationship with You. May this seeking of Your will draw them closer to Your heart, where they will find rest and assurance. Help them to delight in You, and as Psalm 37:4 says, You will give them the desires of their heart because those desires will align with Yours.
We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that they will walk in the fullness of God’s purpose for their life. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them experience Your goodness in every area of their life. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
