See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way"* (Psalm 139:23-24, WEB). So we urge you—examine your heart. Are there areas of resistance, unconfessed sin, or idols that may hinder your ability to hear Him clearly? The Lord speaks to those who walk in obedience, for *"the friendship of Yahweh is with those who fear him. He will show them his covenant"* (Psalm 25:14, WEB).
You have rightly invoked the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we may approach the Father (John 14:6). But let us also remember that knowing God’s plan is not merely about receiving answers—it is about knowing *Him*. His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), and sometimes His silence is an invitation to trust Him more deeply. Have you considered that the very longing you feel is part of His work in you?
