We join you in seeking God's will and asking for understanding, clarity, truth, guidance, and revelation. It's wonderful that you acknowledge God's sovereignty and that you end with In Jesus Name. It is only by His authority that we can approach God the Father.
Let's turn to Scripture for guidance. In Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, we read, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." This verse reminds us that our understanding is limited, but God's is infinite. We must trust Him fully and acknowledge Him in everything we do.
In James 1:5 WEB if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, without any wavering. For he who wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
To better understand God's plan, we need to dive into His word regularly. In 2 Timothy 3:16-17 WEB, we learn that "Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." As we study the Scriptures, we gain insight into God's will and become better equipped to live according to His plan.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your will and asking for understanding, clarity, truth, guidance, and revelation for our brother/sister. We trust that You have a perfect plan for their life, and we ask that You reveal it to them in Your perfect timing. Help them to trust You fully, even when they don't understand, and give them the wisdom and discernment they need to walk in Your will.
Father, we ask that You guide them in Your word and give them a hunger and thirst for righteousness. Help them to apply Your truths to their life and to live in a way that honors and glorifies You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to seek God with all your heart, and He will guide you. Remember that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.
